Chapter 43: Chapter 22: Destroying the World, The True Body Appears! (Part 1)

This was the first time since Alex had departed the Saint Seiya world that he had unleashed the maximum Ultimate Technique of Aquarius without any reservation. His Seventh Sense Cosmo burned frantically within him at its peak, and a torrent of golden energy erupted from his body, coalescing in mid-air into the blurry phantom of a goddess.

Clad in a flowing white dress, she held a translucent water jar in her hands. As her arms slowly tilted, a waterfall of pure white, frigid air poured forth, sweeping across the globe along the atmospheric currents.

Down in their subterranean burrows, the zombie aristocrats were observing everything through biological sensors.

Snowflakes the size of goose feathers began to drift between void, and lakes and rivers instantly froze into solid ice.

A massive number of zombies living in the shallow layers were flash-frozen into statues by the extreme cold. The frigid air instantly claimed the lives of over seventy percent of the zombie population.

However, this was not enough to kill every single one of them. The higher the status of a zombie, the deeper their dwelling was situated. The deepest burrows reached dozens of meters underground, where it remained as warm as spring year-round. Even if the surface were completely frozen over, they would only feel a slight chill.

Watching this scene, these aristocratic zombies felt no fear. Instead, they mocked Alex mercilessly across the biological network.

"This ’strongest human’ seems to be a bit lacking in the brain department!"

"It’s better that those Primitives died; we’ve been wanting to weed out those disgusting, degenerate pests for a long time anyway!"

"That move can only kill brainless Primitives. If he wants to freeze us to death with just that, he’ll need at least another hundred years!"

"Our noble Divine Race has always lived underground, protected by the thick crust of the earth. No matter how low the surface temperature drops, what can it possibly do to us?"

But within a few minutes, they found themselves completely unable to laugh.

The goddess shrouded over the planet did not dissipate. The water jar in her hands continued to pour endless streams of frigid air onto the world. Soon, within the clouds, countless massive, transparent ice spikes began to take shape!

Each of these ice spikes was as thick as a century-old tree—sharp, heavy, and incredibly sturdy.

Viewed from space, the sky above the entire planet was now filled with these massive ice spikes. Once they condensed to a certain size, they began to plummet from the heights, their velocity increasing by the second!

The zombies who had just been laughing at Alex now turned deathly pale, their entire bodies trembling.

"Is... is this something a human can really do?"

"No, impossible. This man isn’t human—he must be a god!"

"God King Arthur, save us!"

"God King, your people need you! Please, intervene and save us!"

Alex’s gaze was freezing, his expression devoid of even a shred of pity.

As a Saint of Athena, he possessed a deep understanding of deities. Every god possessed their own divine kingdom and their own subjects. Take Poseidon, the Sea King; his kingdom was the ocean, and every creature living within it was his subject. If the kingdom and the subjects were destroyed, even if Poseidon himself was immortal, he would fall into an eternal slumber, never to wake again—no different from being dead.

In every Holy War, Athena and her Saints fought to protect all living beings on Earth. If humanity were to go extinct, Athena too would sink into total silence.

Since the subjects of this so-called "God King Arthur" were the zombies, Alex would simply slaughter them all and destroy his kingdom. He didn’t believe the coward would continue to hide after that.

Sure enough, as the ice spikes reached their final form!

A roar, low and heavy like muffled thunder, echoed in Alex’s ears.

"STOP!"

A massive phantom of God King Arthur manifested between void. This time, he lacked the calm composure of their previous encounter; he appeared frantic and exasperated!

Alex turned to face him, the corners of his mouth curling upward.

"Too late!"

Even for a divine creature, facing massive ice spikes falling simultaneously across the entire globe was an overwhelming task. Yet even at this moment, God King Arthur refused to reveal his true body!
