Chapter 102: Chapter 51: Odysseus! A Mysterious Call for Help! (Part 2)

Alex furrowed his brows slightly. He originally thought that by having Saori Kido shot, he had pulled the progression of the Saint Seiya world back to the timeline he was familiar with.

However, Pandora’s appearance made him realize that with his arrival, this world could no longer possibly remain the one he knew so well.

From the nearby Aries Temple, the rhythmic, crisp sound of metal being struck drifted over with steady regularity.

Alex knew it must be Mu repairing the Cloths for the five Bronze Saints.

The five indomitable Bronze Saints had just survived life-and-death battles with the Silver Saints. Their heavily cracked Bronze Cloths would shatter into pieces with just a casual strike from a Gold Saint.

Wearing Bronze Cloths in such a state to fight against Gold Saints would only lead to a dead end.

For Mu to choose to help the five Bronze Saints repair their Cloths, it seemed he had already realized something...

...

In a farmhouse to the northwest of the Sanctuary, Pandora abruptly sat up from a stone bed.

Her form-fitting clothes were drenched in cold sweat, clinging tightly to her body and accentuating her curves.

She panted heavily, her chest heaving violently as her purple eyes filled with lingering fear.

"How is this possible... The Garden of Eternal Night, meticulously constructed by the God of Sleep, was actually broken by him?"

The illusion Pandora had just used was, in fact, the Garden of Eternal Night, painstakingly crafted by Hypnos, the God of Sleep, specifically for Hades, the King of the Underworld.

During his slumber, Hades would relax his mind and body there.

Yet, under the oppressive weight of Alex’s Cosmo, even the illusion constructed by the God of Sleep had shattered entirely.

"Aquarius Alex... is he truly human?!"

Pandora stumbled as she fled the crude stone house. She had already been discovered by Alex. The instant the dream realm shattered, a cold, immense Cosmo had descended upon her location...

Within that Cosmo, there was surprisingly a faint trace of divine coercion!

Dark clouds gathered thickly in the sky, and countless ice spikes formed in mid-air, all locked onto Pandora.

Pandora knew full well that if Alex wasn’t temporarily tied down, and if she hadn’t hidden in a densely populated area, she would already be a corpse by now!

"I must leave the mortal realm immediately. Since I failed to persuade Alex, I have no choice but to have him make a move!"

Pandora’s figure slowly vanished, as if erased from this world by a rubber eraser.

Just before disappearing completely, Pandora bit her purple lip and said fiercely:

"Alex, don’t be so arrogant right now. Soon enough, you won’t even have time to cry!"

Alex halted his long-range attack. Pandora was extremely cunning; hiding in a crowded area made it impossible for him to launch a large-scale, area-of-effect strike.

Otherwise, Pandora would have had absolutely no way to escape. She wasn’t a god, after all.

Soon, Pandora’s voice echoed across the lands of the Underworld.

"Odysseus, I grant you your freedom! As long as you can kill Athena and Alex!"

A man tightly bound from head to toe in pitch-black chains raised his head, revealing a beast-like smile.

"Heh, Pandora... so you’ve finally come crawling to me for help after all..."

The chains shattered inch by inch. The man’s figure transformed into a streak of light and vanished from the Eighth Prison of the Underworld.

The sacred mountain trembled slightly. Between the Sagittarius and Scorpio Temples of the Sanctuary, a quaintly styled palace slowly arched out of the ground. This structure was ethereal and eerie, distorting the light around it, as if it did not belong to this time and space.

At the same time, in the Aries Temple, Mu finished repairing four Cloths and handed them over to the four Bronze Saints who had been waiting with burning anxiety.

As for why Mu didn’t help Ikki repair his Cloth, it was primarily because Ikki’s Phoenix Cloth—also known as the Immortal Bird Cloth—possessed the ability to resurrect itself within its Cloth Box even when completely destroyed.

Mu wiped his sweat. Repairing four Cloths within a single hour, even with Kiki assisting him, was no small burden.

Mu clapped his hands together.

"They’re finally fixed. With these Cloths, you should be able to hold out a little longer!"

Seeing that the first flame of the clock was about to go out, Seiya and the others didn’t dare delay. After hurriedly thanking Mu, they dashed straight toward the second temple, the Taurus Temple!

Alex’s gaze shifted slightly. Who will Aldebaran choose to instruct this time?

Suddenly, a faint plea for help echoed in his mind.

"God of Thunder and Frost, please save humanity!"
