Chapter 1205: Ch 1205: The Strongest Mercenary

After hearing about Reis’s backstory, Elena was extremely impressed. There was no doubt in her mind that both of them were going to like each other. That was because their mindset was very similar to one another.

But there was one things that surprised Elena. From what she had learned about Reis so far, it did not look like she was someone who was fond of standing out. So declaring her identity as a Supreme Seed looked unnatural for her personality.

For this question, Oshi had an answer ready and the reason was quite simple too. She had made this declaration with a plan in mind.

When she had gotten this skill and had became eligible to become a Supreme Seed, at that time, she was facing a severe lack of materials.

The materials she needed were all high grade objects which could only be found in faraway Universes or in the depths of the Chaotic Void. So to get them, most of the time she herself needed to make a trip. She did not have any subordinates, so this was true even for minor items.

That was why, she came up with the idea of make other true Chaos beings and Chaosborns to work for her with this title. She used the title and informed the whole omniverse that by giving her a rare item, they would be allowed to challenge her for battles.

There were no reward for winning against her and for defeating her. But just the prestige of defeating a Supreme Seed was too much and many confident True Chaos beings and Chaosborns wanted that.

So this plan of hers was a massive success. With this, she had managed to get a lot of materials that she needed without going out at all and she was able to focus on her research.

Then after she had developed the ability to control the energy of the chaotic void, her need for help had almost went away. So now, she was actually feeling a bit troubled with this decision that she had made.

This was something funny and the True Supreme beings always teased Reis for this blunder. So currently she was hiding in some remote corner of the void so that no one could find her.

Reis’s story was very interesting and next it was turn for the mercenary Hanz. He was the last person to join the rank of the supreme seeds just a few thousands of years before Elena.

But he had actually been active for a long time. And the ability of copying which had allowed him to get to his current rank, this was something he was born with.

But as the copy was something which completely depended on other abilities, it had never showed enough power to harm the omniverse itself. Actually, this was not even the skill which he had gotten during his chaotic transformation.

But as a mercenary, he took on various jobs. And one such job had brought him before the great Supreme Seed Yamahagaru Kensaitouchi. Normally no one would take a dangerous mission like this but Hanz was different and was most probably the only mercenary who would take this risk.

And during this mission, he actually faced off against the supreme seed. And that was where he revealed to the omniverse that his copy ability was able to replicate 80 percent power of the actual Absolute Break.

80 percent of the absolute break was enough to harm the omniverse. So even though the copied version was slightly weaker, it was still more than enough to make this man a supreme seed too.

Normally, even high level copying and stealing abilities could not effect broken skills like the Absolute Break. But his copy was special and it was able to.

As for why Hanz had revealed his identity, his reason was completely practical. Even as one of the strongest person of this omniverse, he had absolutely no desire to stop his work as a mercenary. So, people knowing about how powerful he actually was, it was good for his business.

As for his life, it was actually quite an impressive one. Even before him becoming a supreme seed, he was extremely famous as a rare person who worked as a mercenary and did odd jobs for wealth even though he was a true Chaos being.

As for how he had became a true Chaos being, his past was actually filled with ups and downs. He had endured a lot of pain to reach his current position.

Hanz was born in a very high quality world of a high quality universe. In this place, the power level that someone could reach was extremely high.

But at the same time, this was a very brutal world filled with non stop war and conflict. And with the top powerhouses being this powerful, the general population were always in danger of getting wiped out.

And in this world, almost 90 percent of the people needed to have some kind of job related to combat. That was the only way to stay alive here where war and battles were an everyday occurance.

As Hanz did not have any loyalty toward any of the nearby warlords, he decided to become a mercenary as he grew up. A mercenary just needed to be loyal to money and nothing else, so it was ideal for him.

But Hanz was not really a serious mercenary. He only took jobs when he was short of money and during the job, he did only the bare minimum.

Even then, he never lacked a job. That was because he was just way too good of a worker. Even if he did not went all out, the task that he was given, he would be sure to complete it no matter what.

And his copy ability was truly completely broken. Even though it allowed him to get only 80 percent of the absolute break, for lower order abilities, copy was able to show an output of 125 percent. So it was actually better than the skill it was copying.

This alone allowed Hanz to dominate any battle he was in. So even in this brutal world, he was actually living a very carefree and happy life.

And one of the reason why he was so happy, it was because of his wife. They were childhood sweethearts and had always been very lovey dovey. So how could he not be satisfied with such an amazing married life.

After he had worked for the same person for a long time, instead of a mercenary, the enemy started to think of his as a loyal retainer. So instead of trying to buy him out with more money, they decided to do something drastic to hurt him.
