As Reis took the heart of her grandfather in her hand, the shudders that she was feeling increased even more. But that did not stop her.

Even though she suddenly started to cry tears of blood, she did not close her eyes and brought the still pulsing heart to her mouth.

She was done with the first heart in just a few seconds but her suffering was just beginning. There were several more people whose hope and dreams she needed to devour and make them her own.

So slowly but surely, more and more hearts disappeared. Her mother’s gentle one, her father’s determined one, her brother’s awkward one, her sister’s jealous but hard working one, Reis took it all and made them her own.

She was going to keep them inside herself for ever and ever, never letting them go. Reis was just that kind of super selfish princess.

And just as she was done with the last person who was her younger sister, suddenly cracks started to appear on the barrier that the protecting the mansion.

By now, almost everyone had already passed away with smiles on their faces. The only person who was still alive was her grandfather Trismagostus. Even with his source of magic gone, this extremely powerful individual was still able to stay alive.

And he was not only alive but he was also looking at his darling grand daughter with eyes filled with pride and joy. And how could he not feel this way ?

With how pampered Reis was and how easy her life had been so far, it was completely expected that her willpower would be weak and she would just be one of the many arrogant geniuses who were not really uncommon in the vast universe.

But now it was clear that Reis was nothing mediocre like that. How could a daughter of the Grail family not be someone amazing.

And that was why, even someone as powerful as Trismagostus was willing to leave his hopes and desires to her. He was sure that in the future, this lady was going to definitely surpass him and reach a new heights that had never been seen.

So even without his heart, Trismagostus felt that his chest was full. Then he gave this young lady a loving hug and made her to feel the warmth of a family member for the very last time in her life.

Then as he was still hugging her, Trismagostus activated one last spell that had already been prepared for a long time. This was a teleportation spell.

Obviously when attacking a super powerful family like the Grail family, the attackers had obviously prepared space locking means to prevent something like teleportation. This was the common sense in this universe of magic and sorcery.

But as there were means to lock down the space, there were also ways to break open this lock. And the teleportation formation that Trismagostus used was something that was capable of breaking through even high level spatial locking.

And in exchange, this teleportation was random in nature without any exact destination. Which would be problematic most of the time but while someone was trying to run away, this was definitely not a bad thing.

So as the barrier was about to break and the assailants were getting exited about breaking in and looting the properties of the famous Grail family after killing them, suddenly an intense blue light appeared.

Lulichen immediately recognised it as the light of teleportation and he tried to stop it. But he failed as it was way too fast.

And that was not all. After the teleportation was over, the whole mansion of the Grail family suddenly got enveloped in a terrific maelstrom of gravity, space and time. Anyone who was too greedy and were very near the house, all of them were unable to get away from this sudden disaster and died immediately.

And when the maelstrom disappeared, the Grail mansion was completely gone. Even though the attackers had managed to destroy this powerful family, they had also suffered a lot of casualities and at the end, they did not even get any reward for all their hard work.

In a dark forest filled with trees with black wood and violet leaves, suddenly a blue light appeared and was gone in no time. And this blue light had brought a beautiful looking young lady here who still had tears of blood flowing from her eyes.

But after coming to this place, the lady did not spend too much time sobbing and crying even if no one would have blamed her for doing just that. Instead she wiped away the tears and her eyes filled with determination and a suppressed flames of revenge became clear.

Then she first checked out the area around her and after making sure that she was safe for the time being, Reis started to check out that storage item that her grandfather had handed her before sending her away.

Inside this storage item, she saw mountains of Ether stones which was the currency of this universe. This storage item was extremely valuable and the space inside was as large as a medium sized world. And that was why it was able to hold such an astonishing amount of money.

And other than that, there were also many other things inside. Just with this, Reis would never have to worry about money or resources for a long long time. Even if she does nothing for the rest of her life, she would be able to live a super comfortable and worry free life with what she had with her now.

But obviously Reis was not going to do something like that. Her dear family members had not only entrusted her with their hope of living but also with their desire for revenge. And to take revenge, Reis needed to become powerful.

Reis decided that now that she was all alone, it was the perfect opportunity to bury herself in training. And this dark forest where she had appeared, as this place looked to be relatively safe for the time being, it was the perfect location for her to train.

With the special sacrificial compound magic, Reis had been given the magic sources of all her family members. This had increased her strength by a huge margin for obvious reasons. So Reis decided to leave this forest only after she had mastered her newfound powers.
