The Black Panther’s thunderous roar completely woke up Raijin; with his Sharingan, he looked at the Black Panther that was constantly growing in size because of the rain.

Until a few moments ago, although he was still fighting Darui, a part of him was immersed inside him; exploring the White Lightning he had succeeded in creating. However, the roar from the incoming Panther made up of Black Lightning returned him to his senses.

An incredibly dazzling light flashed in a very large section of the Forest of Death, outshining everything. Like a very large flash bomb, it swept away all darkness in an instant, making it hard to keep your eyes open. Then, just as suddenly, the light vanished, replaced by a thunderous roar that reached all the way to the Monitoring Room!

Amidst the mighty roar, the fierce Lightning Nature Chakra pushed back the endless air currents and rain curtains, venting outwards with a surge as violent as a dam bursting!

Kakashi, Guy, Asuma, and the other Jōnins at the battlefield’s edge were all stunned, looking like kites adrift without strings, tossed about by the violent storm!

Meanwhile, Shee and Atsui from Darui’s team, Tengu from Raijin’s team, Kurotsuchi, Suzumebachi, and even Deidara, locked in combat with Samsara, were all caught in the storm’s grip. They resembled rootless duckweeds, thrown into the air by the waves. Some collided with trees, some crashed into the ground, and others were blown far away!

Shikamaru put his hands over his eyes, feeling confused. “What just happened?” he asked.

A bright light had flashed suddenly, catching him off guard. He had been looking in the direction of the light’s source, and now his eyes felt weird. It had been a few seconds, but his vision still hadn’t adjusted back to the surroundings completely.

Auoooooo!

Akamaru, resting on Kiba’s head, whimpered and hid beneath his jacket, scared by the intense Lightning Nature Chakra swirling around.

While comforting Akamaru, Kiba spoke, “Whatever’s going on, it’s not going to be good.”

Ino warned, “The Chakra over there is all over the place, really chaotic… Shikamaru, we should steer clear of that area!”

Hearing Ino’s warning, Shikamaru sighed, “That’s obvious…”

At this time, Kiba murmured lightly, “Shikamaru, I am thinking of withdrawing…”

“Huh? What?” Shikamaru was takenaback.

“Thankfully…” muttered Shion in relief. She had foreseen the bright flash thanks to her Dōjutsu, so she warned both her squad members.

At this time, Yakumo asked, “Shion-chan… what should we do? If we want to meet with Shikamaru and the others, we will have to go through the area where those people are fighting, that’s the shortest route, taking a longer route would take too long… should we take the risk?”

Hinata also looked at Shion.
