The strange white lightning flashing around Raijin’s body illuminated the darkened and gloomy Forest of Death making everyone looking at it cover their eyes for a moment as it was too bright to look at for more than a few seconds.

“White Lightning? How… just how did you…?” Similar to Kakashi and the other Konohagakure Jōnins, Darui also opened his eyes wide in surprise.

As one of the few ninjas who have mastered the Black Lightning, Darui knows just how difficult a Single Chakra Nature Transformation of Lightning Nature Chakra is, even Yondaime Raikage could not master this special Jutsu despite Sandaime Raikage’s multiple attempts to teach him.

Looking at both Raijin and Darui charging up their respective White Lightning and Black Lightning, Asuma couldn’t help but speak, “Kakashi… didn’t you say that Darui is the only Shinobi alive capable of performing Single Chakra Nature Transformation of Lightning Nature Chakra…?”

Elder Koharu whispered lightly, “I heard rumors a special form of Lightning Style developed by Sandaime Raikage of Kumogakure… It seems the rumors were accurate…”

Tsunade-hime asked, “But what’s up with Raijin’s White Lightning… that too seems to be the Single Chakra Nature Transformation of Lightning Nature Chakra… As far as I can recall, Amegakure did not have such a special form of Lightning Style…” She was one of the commanders of the Second Great Shinobi War that was fought within the Lands of the Land of Rain, and during that time, she received no intelligence about any special form of Lightning that an Amegakure ninja uses.

Darui’s Black Lightning seems to have some history, but Raijin’s White Lightning has no history and no record at all!

Unfortunately, there was no Amegakure leader available in the monitoring to answer Tsunade-hime’s question.

Jiraiya pondered for a moment, then approached ‘Kuroto’ and whispered in his ear, “Perhaps Kakashi’s thoughts have to be taken more seriously… Raijin, Samsara, and Tengu might really have some connection with the Akatsuki Organization.”

‘Kuroto’ nodded, “I have dispatched two Anbu squads and one special squad to the Land of Rain in order to collect information about Raijin, Samsara, and Tengu…”

Jiraiya suggested, “I am thinking of going to the Land of Rain as well…”

‘Kuroto’ hesitated a little…

Seeing the hesitation on his face, Jiraiya reassured him, “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything reckless…”

Jiraiya nodded as he received the Kunai, “Alright…” Though he wasn’t going to use the Kunai. He had a few toads spread out in the Land of Rain, and through them, he could get himself reverse-summoned to the Land of Rain, as such, coming and going to that country would be easy and not too time-consuming for him.

“Good luck Jiraiya-sama…” said ‘Kuroto.’ Hoping that Jiraiya remains safe.

“I will be back within this week…” leaving behind these words, Jiraiya left the monitoring room.
