Chapter 579: I Still Have That Much Money

When Chu Lingxiu saw Shen Nian fall silent after Qi Yunzhi finished speaking, she couldn’t help but ask.

“I’m thinking about what Yunzhi just said.”

Shen Nian didn’t hide it. Besides, if she really was going to open a snack shop, she wouldn’t keep it a secret from her dorm mates anyway.

“Hm? What I said? What did I just say?”

Qi Yunzhi was too busy enjoying the delicious food to remember what she had just said.

“Was it about the snack shop?”

Qi Yunzhi didn’t remember, but Wang Chunhua did.

Hearing Wang Chunhua’s words, Shen Nian smiled again, feeling even more certain that the idea forming in her mind was a good one.

“Xiao Nian, are you really going to open a snack shop? I’ll be the first to support it! If you do, it’ll be so convenient for us to get snacks in the future!”

“You silly. It’s not even a concrete plan yet—just a little idea. Besides, I’m afraid it won’t be easy to find an available shop outside the university!”

Shen Nian wasn’t worried about her skills or the staff; she could figure all that out when the time came. However, if she couldn’t find a suitable location, then the shop definitely wouldn’t be easy to get off the ground.

The shops outside B University all did good business. From what she had seen over the past few days, it seemed none of them were vacant. Finding a suitable location probably wouldn’t be an easy task.

“Xiao Nian, if you really want to open a snack shop, you can have my brother help with the location! He’s definitely more familiar with this sort of thing than we are.”

Chu Lingxiu had no qualms about putting her brother to work.

“Okay, I’ll talk to Brother Yunze about it another day.”

Although she didn’t really want to trouble anyone, Shen Nian had to admit that if she was going to ask for help with this, Chu Yunze was indeed the most suitable person.

“Why wait for another day? I’ll go call my brother and ask him right now.”

After saying that, without even waiting for Shen Nian’s reaction, Chu Lingxiu walked out of the dorm and went downstairs to make a call.

Seeing Chu Lingxiu’s decisive action, Qi Yunzhi and Wang Chunhua were stunned for a moment. This was especially true for Qi Yunzhi. After all, the suggestion to open a snack shop had come from her.

“Xiao Nian… um, are you really going to open a snack shop?” Qi Yunzhi asked, looking at Shen Nian tentatively.

“Yes, I’m thinking about it. But it still depends on the specific situation.”

“Your pastries are delicious, Xiao Nian, that’s for sure. But opening a shop isn’t that easy. Plus, the storefronts near B University are all very expensive. I imagine opening a snack shop would cost a lot of money!”

‘Although Qi Yunzhi knew Shen Nian had a strong connection to the Chu Family, from what she knew of Shen Nian, she probably wouldn’t ask them for the start-up money. And Shen Nian’s family background seemed to be just average; she had no idea if Shen Nian could come up with that much money. She was bringing it up now to make Shen Nian aware of the reality, so she wouldn’t be disappointed after putting in too much preparation.’

“Yes, I know. Don’t worry, if I really decide to do it, I have the money to open the shop.”

Shen Nian didn’t have a huge amount of money on hand, but she could still afford to open a shop.

“That’s good, then.”

Qi Yunzhi didn’t press Shen Nian about where she got so much money. As long as Shen Nian knew what she was doing, that was all that mattered.

Wang Chunhua, of course, had no idea that Shen Nian’s plan to open a shop might have something to do with her. For now, she just looked at Shen Nian, her heart filled with admiration.

She admired Shen Nian for having such capability and drive.

Of course, in her heart, Wang Chunhua was completely supportive of what Shen Nian was doing. She certainly hoped that Shen Nian’s shop would open successfully and that its business would be booming.
