Qin Wenying woke up at three in the afternoon.

Mrs. Qin had been watching over the bedside, so she was the first to see it the moment Qin Wenying opened her eyes.

"Wen Ying! Wen Ying! Doctor, Doctor, quickly! She’s awake, she’s awake—"

Hearing this, Qin Wenhao immediately left the hospital room to get a doctor.

Mr. Qin and Fu Mingxue quickly walked over to the hospital bed.

Seeing Qin Wenying’s eyes truly open, the two of them were also overcome with excitement.

Qin Wenying moved her eyes—she could clearly see the person calling her name.

It was her own mother, her face streaked with tears.

’Ms. Sheng’s red, swollen eyes are so ugly,’ she thought. ’She looks her best when she’s yelling at someone.’

Unfortunately, she was still wearing a breathing mask and couldn’t speak.

Just then, Doctor Xie arrived.

"Please step aside. I need to examine the patient."

Mr. Qin and Fu Mingxue immediately stepped aside.

Mrs. Qin also quickly got up and moved to the side. "Doctor Xie, my daughter’s awake. Does this mean she’s going to be okay?"

"Calm down. I need to examine her first. Please be quiet. In fact, it would be best if you all stepped outside."

Upon hearing Doctor Xie, Mrs. Qin immediately backed away and fell silent, terrified of disturbing him.

At that moment, Mr. Qin said, "Let’s all go outside for now."

Fu Mingxue immediately helped her mother-in-law out of the room.

The entire Qin Family left the hospital room.

Leaving only Doctor Xie and the nurse on duty inside.

Fu Mingxue could feel her mother-in-law’s hands trembling with anxiety.

She tried to comfort her, "Mom, don’t worry. Doctor Xie is an excellent doctor. Besides, you saw the look in her eyes when she woke up—she was completely lucid. So, she’s definitely going to be fine."

Mr. Qin chimed in, "That’s right. The look in Wen Ying’s eyes just now was very good."

Mrs. Qin hadn’t noticed.

Her attention had been entirely focused on the fact that her daughter was awake.

After all, she had been worried sick all day, terrified that her daughter wouldn’t wake up at all.

For Mrs. Qin, every minute and every second of the examination was agonizing.

She was terrified of hearing bad news.

Finally, after an examination that lasted nearly half an hour, the door to the room opened.

A nurse walked out.

Mrs. Qin quickly asked, "Nurse, how is she? Is Doctor Xie finished with his examination?"

The nurse nodded. "Yes, you can go in now. Doctor Xie will likely want to speak with you."

Hearing this, Mrs. Qin was the first to hurry into the room.

The rest of the Qin family followed her inside.

But when Mrs. Qin saw her daughter’s eyes were closed, she asked in terror:

"Doctor Xie, my daughter—"

Her voice was trembling.

She was terrified of hearing bad news.

Doctor Xie glanced at her.

"The patient is weak, and it’s also the effect of the medication. It’s perfectly normal for her to be in this drowsy state."

"I’ve just examined her. Her recovery is going quite well. The bloody fluid is being steadily absorbed and drained. This is actually a testament to the patient’s excellent physical constitution!"

Mr. Qin asked, "As for any long-term complications—"

"From the look of it, there won’t be any. The bloody fluid should be completely absorbed within seven days. Of course, we’ll need to continue observing for a few more days before we can make a final diagnosis."

Mr. Qin nodded. "Understood. Thank you, Doctor Xie!"

Then, Fu Mingxue asked, "Doctor Xie, is there anything we need to watch out for? Like dietary restrictions—"

"For now, she should stick to a liquid diet. Other than that, avoid spicy or irritating foods; keep it light and bland. While she’s in the hospital, the main thing is bed rest. If any other measures are needed, we’ll let you know during our daily examinations based on her recovery progress."

"So, should she eat today?" Mrs. Qin asked with concern.
