Chapter 692: Soo drop needs
Chapter 692: Soo drop needs
Underneath the [Allies] section of the drone, he saw three new options.
[Allies]
—Fudge
——Mini Drone Link ><
——Weapon = 1
——Inhabitation = 5
——Aubility = 5
[Weapon: This upgrade allows the Mini Drone to become Fudge’s main weapon. It will transform into Fudge’s desired shape, and could revert back to its mini drone shape at will. This upgrade will also allow further specific upgrades for the weapon and mini drone itself.]
[Cost: 1 drop]
[Inhabitation: This upgrade allows Fudge to enter the mini drone as if it was his own Pocket Dimension. Once inside, Fudge can pilot the mini drone and use his Aubilities as normal. The subspace will also become connected with the Main Drone’s Pocket Dimension, allowing for travel between the two drones.]
[Cost: 5 drops]
[Aubility: This upgrade allows the Main Drone to draw power from the linked ally (Fudge) and allow you to use their Aubilities with limited capacity.]
[Cost: 5 drops]
Michael stared at these three upgrades with desire. He wanted to buy all of these, but unfortunately, the price for them was too steep. That was 11 drops in total! That would be equal to 110,000 Sand Dollars.
But if he were to buy just one upgrade, he’d have to prioritize the weapon upgrade. This would directly benefit Fudge and allow him to have a decent weapon that could also be upgraded in the future.
A close second would be the Aubility upgrade since he’d be able to vary his Aubilities with the new power he’d get from Fudge.
Then, he’d buy the Inhabitation upgrade last. It was still good, but those two were his priority first and foremost.
But there’s no use thinking about this now. I don’t even have any Sand Dollars to spend.
“You’ll have to wait a bit,” he said to Fudge.
The little slime pouted. “Aww….”
“Trust me Fudge, you’re not the only one disappointed in not having enough Soo drops.”
Now that he knew what kind of options would unlock once his allies awakened their Divas, he was more motivated now than ever to earn more Soo drops.

After finding out about the unfortunate mermen who fell victim to the Purist Vampires, Reed immediately visited the hospital to make sure that they were okay.
“I can’t believe it. Those bastard purists!” Reed cursed aloud. “I have been searching for them for a long while but never knew they were held captive.”
Reed felt especially guilty since he was the one who invited the mermen to Metropolis in the first place.
“But it’s good that they’re here now,” Reed said, taking a deep breath. “Thank you Michael, for saving them.”
“Do you think that there could be more Purist Vampires out there?” he asked Reed.
“Unlikely. Those that have the privilege to journey out into the Royal Continent are vetted to make sure that they won’t cause any trouble in the surface world. Those Purists are just an exemption.”
Michael was glad to hear that. And according to Guillermo, most Vampires hate Purists just as much as everyone because they give the Vampire race a bad reputation.
In fact, those Vampires that got knocked out were also incredibly thankful for Michael once they awakened from their slumber.
Guillermo told them everything that happened while they were unconscious. They gasped when they heard that Michael killed the Purist Leader all on his own and they damn near passed out again when Guillermo revealed to them the truth about the Iron Maiden.
“It has been found?!
“Has our lady Gaia graced your presence?!”
Guillermo led the Vampires to the Iron Maiden church, where he was also enlightened with the truth.
They gazed upon the metallic statue of the Iron Maiden, with their eyes still having a glaze of doubt. They were unable to see how such a figure was the Deity that they’d been trying to find their whole lives.
But when Guillermo started audibly praying to the Iron Maiden, the Vampires saw first hand how his body reacted to his intense belief.
Guillermo’s body shined, sparkling under the Iron Maiden’s statue, proving his claims once and for all.
“By Gaia it’s true!”
“Praise be to our Goddess!”
“We have finally found her!”
They began worshipping the Iron Maiden, profusely praying underneath her statue.
Although he might have mixed feelings about them becoming believers of the Iron Maiden, one unexpected side-effect of this was that the Vampires now decided to live in the Nation of Reborn for the duration of their visit.
They all rented out their own apartments near the church as they intended to visit it everyday.
All in all, he would be adding another 5,000 Sand Dollars a month to his income because of their rent.

Speaking of Sand Dollars, ’Into Cthulhu’s Void’ has continued to sell out tickets as more and more mermen get introduced to its wonders.
Juniper also recommended the injured mermen to try out the rollercoaster for themselves, and it ended up helping them recover a lot faster.
The number of tickets sold had gone up to nearly double, reaching an income of about 200 Sand Dollars in a single day!
But that wasn’t enough for Michael. He immediately continued with his project of the second rollercoaster involving the recreated fossil animals from the ancient past.
Thanks to Guilllermo and a couple of other Vampires graciously donating fossils from their own collection, he was able to create a decent enough exhibit to finally start the project.
It took him and the Rebornians about two full days to construct the exhibit, with most of the time being dedicated to creating life-like animatronics.
Eventually, the exhibit was opened to the public under the name ’The Ancient Sea’, which garnered good reviews from the mermen.
“I feel like I’ve been transported back to the ancient times,” Reed commented as an ancient ammonite flew past him.
“… cool… big bro…,” Nixie muttered, enjoying the nice and laidback ride.
Now, the tickets sold for this attraction were a lot lower than ’Into Cthulhu’s Void, but it still helped with bringing in more Sand Dollars at the end of the day.
With how desperately he needed more Soo drops, he was going to take every Sand Dollar he could get.
I could get more if only I could finish the Golden Road to Metropolis…
Right now, one of the obstacles for getting more mermen into his theme park was the fact that the Parched Lands were so far away from Metropolis.
This not only hindered the mermen, but also future beastfolks as well.
A proper road and a railroad system that directly connected Metropolis to the Parched Lands would be ideal.
The logistics weren’t the problem. It was permission.
The last time he brought up creating roads in Metropolis, the Duchess shut him down saying that he wasn’t ready for it yet.
It made sense at the time since nobody knew him or his company back then, so everyone would complain if nobody was able to construct their own road systems in Metropolis.
But now, he was hoping that the Duchess would change her mind.
He found the Duchess and the royal family enjoying a nice little picnic in the plaza, listening to the bands play music on the speakers.
“Listen, Duchess. I have a favor to ask,” he said, approaching her carefully.
But before he could even say his request, the Duchess rushed to say something first.
“Michael… connect your nation to Metropolis right now! I need to be able to visit this place on the weekends!”
