Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 691: Purists extinguished

Chapter 691: Purists extinguished

Even with the Purist Vampire Leader done and dusted, Guillermo was still unable to relax.

“There’s still some Purist Vampires in Metropolis,” he warned. “We have to find them before they take over the Iron Maiden religion!”

Michael waved off his worries. “It’s alright. Fudge already had it covered.”

He led Guillermo towards Fudge, teleporting them both towards their meeting place.

As he arrived, he immediately saw a violet object jump towards his face.

“MASTER!”

Fudge hugged his entire face like a loyal dog seeing its owner. Michael had to tear the little slime out of his face just so that he could breathe.

“Master! Master! I did it! I have a Diva!” Fudge proudly announced.

“Yes, I know. Good job,” he replied, finally giving Fudge a well-deserved pat on the head.

Meanwhile, Guillermo looked at the environment around him and saw the faint presence of dust in the air. Immediately, he knew that Vampires were killed here very recently.

“You should have seen me, Master! Those Vampires stood no chance! They were hitting themselves hahahaha!”

With Fudge admitting himself, Guillermo couldn’t help but look at the slime in a completely different look.

This intelligent slime monster was able to defeat multiple Purist Vampires? Sure, they were most likely low-leveled beastfolk, but the fact that he was able to survive against them was impressive enough, much more that he was able to kill them.

“Come on then, Fudge. Let me see it,” Michael said, crossing his arms with an anticipated look on his face.

Fudge then jumped out of his head and landed on the ground. Then, he rolled over to a small rock on the ground, the size of a small watermelon.

And as soon as Fudge’s slimy body made contact with the rock, Michael saw a shadow form underneath the base of the stone.

The Devilish Shadow smiled, seemingly laughing as it receded into the stone.

“That’s…that’s a Diva!” Michael realized.

“Yup, Master! Anything I touch will be given that shadow, allowing me to control it as if it was my own body!”

And to demonstrate, the large stone suddenly moved an inch forward. Then, two simple white eyes appeared on the stone, looking around and winking at Michael.

“It can be people or it can be objects,” Fudge explained. “As long as I touch it, I can inhabit it! This is going to be so~~ good for my ninja skills!”

“!!!!A monster becoming a Maugnetic?!?!” Guillermo gasped.

Michael was also surprised at seeing Fudge’s Aubility at work. First of all, the fact that Fudge’s Diva wasn’t manifested above his head, but instead onto the person/object he touched was something unheard of.

But then again, this was the first time that a monster became a Maugnetic, so perhaps this was just because of Fudge’s unique situation.

Fudge’s talent is called the [SSS-class Malevolent Passenger], so his Aubilities fit quite well with it.

His power was literally being a passenger in someone else’s body.

“Do you hear a voice in your head?” he asked Fudge. “Someone named Malevolent Passenger?”

Fudge shook his head. “No, Master. I can only hear myself.”

Hmmm… is Harbinger just unique or is it because Fudge hasn’t achieved the required level of familiarity with his Diva?

This would make sense since he was only able to hear Harbinger when he was in the 4th stage of Body Formation.

“How many of these shadows can you do?” he inquired.

“Only one,” Fudge replied, disappointed.

“Don’t worry. I think you’ll be able to get more if you have your own Mithril Artifact,” he assured him. He also only had a limited amount of switches he could make before he made his Drone. But once he had it, he could make it almost infinitely.

“REALLY?!”

Michael could see the look in Fudge’s face. He could practically hear the thoughts coming out of his head. ‘I can spread my shadow diva everywhere and spy on everyone!’

With this new Aubility, Fudge would finally be released onto Metropolis. He would no longer be constrained since he could no wield Aubility Power himself!

“Fudge, just remember to know your limits. Those that are one or two levels above you will know when you used your Aubilities on them,” he warned Fudge.

“Hehehe, I know Master!”

Then, Michael pulled his attention towards the unconscious men and women on the floor. They were all pale, with obvious two-fanged bite marks on their neck.

With his Supreme Talent, he saw that their lives weren’t in danger at least. Though, it would be best if they received treatment as soon as possible.

“Let’s transfer them back to the Nation of Reborn,” he said to Fudge.

He left Fudge in charge of transporting them while he and Guillermo went back to the Purist Vampire lair to rescue the other captives there.

Juniper had been staying in the Parched Lands, opening up herself to the wonders of the so-called Paradise in the Desert, when all of a sudden, Michael teleported in front of her with about fifty or more humans and mermen all unconscious.

Seeing the obvious state these people were in, she immediately rushed to their side and performed first aid.

With her keen eyes, she noticed the bite marks on their neck, as well as the pale, bloodless tint on their bodies.

“Vampires?” she asked Michael.

“Yes. They were attacked by a group called the Purist Vampires,” he replied.

Juniper was familiar with them, but was surprised that they even able to infiltrate Metropolis.

“It’s good that you weren’t too late,” she said, casting her spells to heal. “If it was any longer, then they could have suffered permanent damage or even death.”

Michael watched Juniper do her work flawlessly. He saw the obvious change in the victim’s faces as they slowly regained the natural pinkish tone of their skin, with their blood levels returning to normal.

Juniper proved herself to be one of the best healers in the entire world, worthy of being crowned just below that of the famous Sinclair. In just a few minutes, the victims were all in stable condition. And she didn’t even break a single sweat.

“They’ll be fine. They just need some rest,” Juniper said, finishing the last healing spell.

“Thank you.”

“Don’t thank me,” she replied. “I’m just doing what I’m obliged to do. That’s a healer’s responsibility.”

“Well, I’m just saying that things could have been bad if you weren’t here.”

She shook her head again, refusing the compliment. “Uou would have been able to heal them regardless. It’s amazing what you have built here. It’s the best healing ward I’ve ever been in.”

The hospital in their nation was built with the standards of his previous life, which meant that everything was made to create the best chance to heal as possible.

Michael shook his head as Juniper went on and on praising their healthcare system. “Just take the compliment!” he said to her.

After exiting the hospital, Michael was immediately ambushed by Fudge, jumping towards him with anticipation in his eyes.

“Can I have my own Mithril Artifact now? Please~~”

With those puppy dog eyes, Michael couldn’t resist. Unfortunately, he currently had no Soo drops available as he used every last bit of it upgrading his own drone.

Not only that, but he wasn’t the only one wanting more Soo drops. After all, there was a new upgrade for his drone that caught his attention.
