Due to the research facility being located in an extremely remote and barren area near the southern shore of the continent, it was never attacked by the demon armies and remained unaffected by the massive war.

The researchers inside the facility not only managed to capture several refugees escaping from the various war-destroyed places, but they even managed to secure a stable connection with an ownerless satellite in the outer orbit!

Using the satellite connection, it became possible to connect to the internet even without the help of the previous government channels, and through the internet, the researchers managed to find out the exact situation of the outside world.

Hearing ominous news on the internet about the inevitable destruction of the entire dark elven race, the researchers could not sit still anymore and decided to cross the bottom line that had been holding them back until now.

The underground facility was built to withstand the impact of several powerful nuclear weapons and was completely self-sufficient in food and water production using magic crystals of various elemental types.

In the dimly lit cell, the young boy’s frail body shivered occasionally due to fear and trauma as tears kept falling from his eyes.

But unfortunately, due to the sudden loss of his parents, the young man had lost all hope in the world, and in his dazed state, he had unknowingly entered the area near the underground research facility.

Unfortunately for the young boy, his body did not deform like the other people for some reason, and he actually managed to survive the ordeal.

The dark liquid entered his body, and a strange warm heat spread throughout his entire body, making him feel comfortable!

Although he had survived being deformed into a meat blob, there was nothing happy about it.

The moment those researchers took notice of his abnormality, their eyes lit up with pure greed, and they threw him in this prison cell to starve.

They didn’t feed him anything but kept injecting the same strange liquid into his body over and over for days!

Every time the liquid was forcefully entered into his body, his entire body convulsed due to inhumane pain that the strange serum inflicted on him!

The young boy did not want to go through that horrible pain, but he had no way out; his eyes had long gone dead with no hope left in them, and all he could do was just sit in a corner of the cell and shiver in fear.

Every passing second was torture as the lunatics could enter the cell at any moment and inflict the same pain on him again.

The young boy could not even sleep as his eyes would always remain glued to the door due to severe mental trauma.

’How long will this keep going? What crime have I committed to deserve something like this?’
