The dance battle was surprisingly entertaining.

Cero and Roka stood at the edge of the crowd, watching the four twins dance against each other.

"Damn, they have moves," Cero said with a chuckle.

The crowd was going wilder and wilder as each duo continuously one-upped the other.

They continued watching for another few minutes.

Eventually, however, Roka tugged lightly at his sleeve.

"Do you, um, wanna go??"

"Getting bored?"

"A little."

"Yeah." Cero turned away. "Let’s check out something else.

They walked away from the crowd and began making their way to the exit.

Before they could return the headphones and leave, however,

"You guys look like you’re in dire need of something to make the night pop."

The two stopped and raised an eyebrow at the feathered three-legged person in a black hoodie.

"What do you guys prefer? I got everything. Shit that’s not even out on the streets yet."

He opened his clawed hand to reveal a couple of fluorescent pills.

"Uh-huh." Cero turned back towards the crowd. "Is everyone high on these?"

The dealer let out a dry chuckle.

"Everyone’s high on something." The dealer shrugged.

Cero managed to track down the tentacled person he had shaken hands with earlier.

’That guy did... And still does look like he’s tweaking.’

"So?" The dealer stepped closer. "What’s your preference?"

The two exchanged a glance.

They returned their headsets and wandered through VTX.

"You’re sure you didn’t want anything, right?"

"I’m sure."

"I don’t want to be a party pooper..."

"Oh, let’s check that out." Cero pointed.

"S-Sure!"

They visited a store selling strange animatronic toys, and a bar with floating tables.

"Planetary beauty contest!" A four-eyed woman said while handing a pamphlet. "A chance to win 100 grand! Check out our numerous locations!"

Roka grabbed the pamphlet without thinking much about it.

"They have pictures of the previous winners." She muttered, studying them one by one.

"Any of them half as beautiful as you?"

"Unfortunately... Yeah..."

Roka shook her head and folded the pamphlet into her pocket.

She took a deep breath. Now wasn’t the time for doubt. Now was the time to go on the offensive.

Just as she thought so, her hand brushed Cero’s as they walked.

She looked down at his hand, then up at him.

Cero was walking as if he hadn’t felt their hands touching.

Roka hesitated for a moment, then she slowly slipped her hand into his.

Cero glanced down at their joined hands.

A small smile appeared on his face.

Roka’s cheeks warmed. She was looking away.

They walked silently for a couple of minutes, hand in hand.

Roka loosened her grip over his at times, but Cero didn’t let go of her hand. It was Roka’s way of knowing whether he actually wanted to hold hands or not.

Eventually, they turned into a narrower street, walking beside a dimly lit alley.

Cero stopped.

"What is it?" Roka asked.

Cero didn’t answer. Instead, he pulled her closer.

Before Roka knew it, her back was against the wall.

"C-Cero?"

He stepped closer until her breasts were pressed against him.

"We’re taking turns being courageous, right?"

Roka could feel her heart pounding.

Their faces were only inches away.

She could even feel her legs tremble a bit.

Her hands rested on his chest while his right hand caressed her cheek.

Cero leaned forward while Roka closed her eyes.

’Let it happen.’ She thought to herself, sick and tired of ruining it and running away.

His lips lightly pressed against hers before leaving them.

Roka opened her eyes slightly. He had kissed her just like she had kissed him earlier before leaving their room.

Roka didn’t pull away. In fact, she did not feel as scared as she usually did.

Her lips parted slightly, and Cero expected her to kiss him.

"Kiss me," Her plump and juicy lips whispered. "Kiss me, Cero."

And he did.

Their lips met again, and neither pulled away.

Roka’s eyes remained shut as she felt his lips against hers. Her hands tightened slightly against his chest, while Cero’s right hand remained gently cupping her cheek.

His left hand caressed her shoulder and arm as it made its way down to her waist.

Roka’s heart was pounding. Goosebumps covered her skin. She could feel chills and shivers.

She could not tell whether it was fear or excitement.

Maybe it was excitement.

Maybe it had always been excitement.

The warmth of his lips made her feel like she was melting, until his lips parted to playfully bite her lower lip.

This time, it was Roka that leaned closer, rising on her tippy toes. Her right hand moved up his chest to caress the side of his neck, and her left hand stroked the back of his head.

Wanting, wishing, desiring to take it even further, Roka let the tip of her tongue out.

She feared Cero not wanting to kiss like that. She feared not being able to do it the way Cero liked. She feared not knowing how to... But those worries faded away as Cero’s tongue met hers, immediately taking the lead and guiding her into a comfortable, dancing rhythm.

Roka leaned even further into him, straightening her legs and body completely to rise even closer to his face, mouth, and lips. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders.

Cero’s hands rested on each side of her waist. One moved to her back, then to the back of her head.

He wanted to stroke her, to caress her, to touch her in every way possible, and she wanted to be stroked by him, caressed by him, and touched by him in every way she knew how and more.

Lost in their embrace and kiss, the two could not tell whether mere seconds or full minutes had passed.

When Cero pulled back, he found Roka’s eyes brimming and glistening. Her lips remained parted slightly, and the visible tip of her tongue was obviously asking for more.

Cero caressed the back of her head as he stared into her eyes, and Roka threw herself at his chest.

"Cero..." She whispered.

Roka could not find the words to say everything she had in mind, everything she felt.

He could feel her perky nipples pushing against his body, and she could feel his bulge pushing against hers.

"Roka..." He whispered as her hand slipped between them to caress that bulge.

Suddenly,

"Get a room, you two!"

The two froze.

They looked to the other end of the alley, but the passerby was already gone.

Their eyes went back to one another.

"Get a room, they said," Cero whispered jokingly.

The way Roka was looking at him, Cero could tell she was not joking.

"Should..." She stuttered without pulling or even looking away. "Should we?"

Three silent seconds passed.

But before Roka’s mind could go haywire.

"Hahaha! Stop! Cero!" She complained while laughing out loud as Cero lifted her up onto his shoulder. "Put me down!" She shouted and tapped his back repeatedly.

"Once we find a room."

Her complaining continued, only stopping once Cero gave her thick and round butt a slap that sent her cheeks jiggling.

Roka’s sudden silence worried him until she talked,

"This isn’t the first time you’ve... Slapped my ass." A blushing Roka muttered.

"It isn’t?"

"No, back in Serolia..."

It didn’t really matter. Still, Roka couldn’t help but wonder.

’Could this have happened so much earlier if I wasn’t so...?

Another slap landed on her butt, immediately cutting the thought short.

"This should do, no?"

"Put me down, put me down!" Roka said with excessive enthusiasm.

Her face became even hotter and her cheeks burned as she read the establishment’s name

-Kraus Love Hotel-

The two stood for a bit, staring hand in hand at the entrance, before walking in.
