After hearing Jiang Xue’s request, Huo Cong immediately called Mu Qiancheng’s people. When the call connected and he learned that they did have someone following Jin Hao, he was finally relieved.

At noon, Ah Lin didn’t come back. Jiang Xue and Huo Cong went to the canteen to eat, then returned to the office to rest.

It wasn’t until late afternoon, almost at the end of the workday, that Ah Lin showed up. Sitting in the car, Jiang Xue smiled and asked Ah Lin, "Ah Lin, you are Mr. Jin’s assistant, why didn’t you go on the business trip with Mr. Jin?"

Ah Lin had no objections to Jiang Xue wanting to eat at Ah Li’s place. He also preferred Chinese food a bit more. And here, Ah Li’s was the only Chinese restaurant.

So the car turned around and headed to Ah Li’s restaurant. When they arrived, it was the busy time. The hall was already full, and there were no private rooms available either.

Ah Lin asked Jiang Xue if she wanted to eat somewhere else, but Jiang Xue refused. She would rather wait a bit longer than eat Western food.

Luckily, they didn’t have to wait long before a table in the hall became available. They went over, sat down, and ordered a few dishes.

Hearing Jiang Xue’s words, Mr. Huang burst out laughing and said, "We are loyal customers of Ah Li’s, we come here at least a few times a month."
