Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1614: No Need for Thanks Between Us
Alice Turner spoke while unobtrusively pushing Anthony’s head away, also moving aside a little at the same time.
Although she and Thomas Fisher knew he was a girl, others didn’t. They couldn’t be so close, or others might misunderstand them.
Actually, they were already misunderstood; the maids’ attitude towards Thomas Fisher was the best evidence.
"Yes, yes! We’re not going to play, we’re going to get serious work done." Anthony realized something when pushed away and didn’t lean back on Alice Turner.
After that, he didn’t make any intimate moves again.
Returning home, Anthony looked at Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher separately, his expression ambiguous, "Sis! Brother-in-law! You two feel free, I’m going back to my own room. Do what you want, I won’t come out easily."
After speaking, he immediately ran upstairs.
"You brat! If you have guts, don’t run."
Alice Turner raised her hand, pointing at Anthony who had already run to the corner of the first floor, shouting unhappily at his back.
"Why would I stand and wait for you to hit me, am I stupid?" Anthony waved his hand backward at Alice Turner, disappearing quickly around the staircase corner.
"You..."
Alice Turner was so angry she really wanted to chase after him and give him a beating for talking nonsense, but she knew it would be pointless since he wouldn’t be waiting for her to catch up and hit him.
Thomas Fisher, however, curled his lips, seeming in a very good mood, as he reached out to embrace Alice Turner, "Alice! Don’t bother with that troublemaker, if you get angry, I’ll be heartbroken."
While saying this, he appropriately showed a concerned expression.
"Oh, come on, neither of you is any good." Alice Turner pulled away the arm around her waist, took a deep breath, thick-skinned she said, "You’re staying in the guest room."
Hearing this, the smile on Thomas Fisher’s lips instantly stiffened, "Why? I want to sleep in your room."
"Fine, then I’ll go sleep in the guest room."
Alice Turner glanced at the frozen Thomas Fisher and stepped towards upstairs.
"Wait for me."
Seeing Alice Turner heading upstairs, Thomas Fisher quickly followed after her, reaching out to grab her, his eyes looking pitifully at her, "Can’t we sleep together?"
"Can we sleep together?"
Alice Turner was not moved by the man’s pitiful look at all because she knew he was putting on an act.
"Of course... we can’t."
Thomas Fisher really wanted to say they could, but upon seeing Alice Turner’s threatening look, he instantly caved.
Alice Turner’s pretty lips curved up, "Since we can’t, we’ll sleep separately."
Although they had once kissed very passionately, nothing substantive happened between them.
She was, in her core, a very traditional woman who believed the first night should be saved for the wedding night; she wanted to leave herself with the most beautiful memory.
"Alright, but remember to miss me."
Thomas Fisher didn’t want to force Alice Turner; since she had put it like that, he could only hold back.
Alice Turner suddenly stopped, side-hugged Thomas Fisher, "Thomas! Thank you."
Thank you for not forcing her, and even more for understanding her.
"Silly! We don’t need to say thank you between us."
Thomas Fisher understood what Alice Turner was thanking him for, but he didn’t need her to thank him, she was his bride-to-be, and they had plenty of time for intimacy in the future, there was no rush now.
