Chapter 1596: How Could We Possibly Tell You Our Private Couple Things?

  • Next Chapter

After breakfast, Alice Turner and Grace Young headed out with their luggage. Lily Turner had wanted to personally see them off to the airport, but Alice vehemently refused, so she arranged for the family driver to take them instead.

On the way to the airport, Alice received a call from Thomas Fisher. As soon as she answered, Thomas’s voice came from the other end of the line, "All is well!"

Thomas only said four simple words, but Alice immediately understood. The anxiety she’d been holding on to finally eased. "I know, waiting for you."

Having received the news she wanted, Alice felt completely at ease, leaning back in her seat, enjoying the fleeting scenery outside the car window.

Five years ago, when she left, her heart was full of melancholy and sadness, but now she felt relaxed and joyful.

She could finally be with Thomas, though they still had some challenges ahead. She firmly believed that as long as their hearts were united, they could overcome any difficulties and obstacles.

Meanwhile, Thomas was also in an excellent mood. He casually tossed the phone into the car’s storage compartment, feeling overjoyed at Alice’s recent words, waiting for you.

Pouting his lips, he cheerfully whistled a particularly happy tune.

"What did my sister say to make you so happy?" Anthony, sitting in the passenger seat, noticed Thomas’s unusual joy, as if he had just received a shot of adrenaline.

He didn’t know what Alice had said and leaned in to inquire from the man, who was clearly elated.

Thomas tilted his head to glance at Anthony, seeing Anthony’s eager gaze, he stopped whistling and smiled, "Your sister just said... how could I share private conversations between a couple with you."

Anthony was waiting to hear, but Thomas pulled this kind of stunt, nearly leaving Anthony with a buzzing ear.

"Fine, don’t tell me, as if anyone’s eager to know," Anthony retorted, glancing at the smug man, settling back into his seat, turning to look out the car window, ignoring the seemingly smug man.

Thomas didn’t look at the person beside him; instead, he smirked and continued to whistle happily.

All the way, Thomas kept whistling; Anthony didn’t stop him, surprisingly, he even listened intently, eventually catching Thomas’s joy.

He turned to face the driver, joining in on the whistling, occasionally exchanging glances, cooperating perfectly with each other’s rhythm.

In an instant, the delightful sound of whistling filled the entire car.

Airport—

Alice Turner and Grace Young had already collected their tickets, sitting on the seats, waiting for the other two to arrive.

After about half an hour, Thomas Fisher and Anthony finally arrived. It was uncertain who spotted whom first, but soon, all four united.

"Sis! Bro-in-law! You can see us off here. I don’t really like farewells; you should go back now." Anthony didn’t realize Alice and Thomas were coming along. He immediately urged them to leave.

The farewell scene was too poignant, and he genuinely didn’t like that feeling.

Alice simply gave Anthony a glance, choosing not to respond to him, instead, she looked past him to Thomas Fisher standing beside him, "Darling! Let’s go check-in for our flight."
