Alice Turner didn’t expect it to be Thomas Fisher, she paused for a moment and told the truth.

Upon hearing this, Thomas Fisher frowned, "Wasn’t Anthony and Grace Young supposed to discuss it with his brother?"

He stood at the doorway, with no intention of making way.

"Those two lack experience, right? I have to accompany them to ensure everything is fine. This collaboration is very important; we can’t make any mistakes." This was the excuse Alice Turner came up with after receiving Anthony’s call in the morning. She couldn’t let Thomas Fisher know the real situation; she didn’t want him to have any rift with his brother.

Alice Turner spoke seriously and sincerely. Thomas Fisher couldn’t see anything unusual on her face, but he still didn’t move from the doorway, "Why is Anthony so dumb, why..."

"Who are you calling dumb? You’re the dumb one, your whole family is dumb."

Anthony called out for Alice Turner to leave. As soon as he stepped out of the room, he heard Thomas Fisher calling him dumb, and he immediately retorted.

Thomas Fisher tilted his head to retort back, but the moment he opened his mouth, he suddenly remembered what Alice Turner told him last night, and he swallowed his words immediately.

He gave the approaching person a glare, his face full of dissatisfaction towards the person coming over.

"Why are you glaring at me? Do you think you have a reason to badmouth me behind my back?" Anthony, however, was relentless and fearlessly glared back when he saw Thomas Fisher glaring at him.

Alice Turner glanced at Thomas Fisher and seeing his face darken, she secretly tugged on his sleeve, silently signaling him to calm down.

Pulling him to the side, she picked up her laptop and walked out of the room, separating him from the approaching person. She looked coldly at the person coming over, "Jacob! We should get going."

How is he still like this? It seems her talk with him last night was in vain.

"Oh."

Seeing Alice Turner getting a bit upset, Anthony realized his words had irritated her. Although he was quite dissatisfied, he obediently responded with an "oh," and stopped arguing with Thomas Fisher.

If it were before, Thomas Fisher wouldn’t have cared about such gestures; he would have found it embarrassing for a man to be protected by a woman.

But now, he felt being protected by the woman he loved was particularly blissful.

If Anthony wasn’t around, he would definitely have hugged his dear Alice and given her a kiss.

While Thomas Fisher was silently fantasizing, Grace Young walked out of the room and saw Alice Turner and Anthony already waiting at the door. She quickly approached with an apologetic look.

"President Alice! Young Master! I’m sorry, an emergency occurred when I was leaving." Grace Young looked apologetically at both her bosses, with a cautious demeanor.

"What emergency happened? I think you were just deliberately being late to ruin things." Anthony, having gained no advantage against Thomas Fisher, now unleashed his frustration on Grace Young, who always supported Thomas Fisher.

Upon hearing this, Grace Young waved her hands repeatedly in denial, "I wasn’t deliberately late, I was indeed delayed by an emergency."

The emergency was something she felt embarrassed to mention in front of the two gentlemen; she felt tremendously wronged.

"I think you were just deliberately..."

"If you two keep arguing, we will indeed be late." Alice Turner spoke timely, stopping Anthony from his relentless approach.
