Raising Yanderes to save the world
Chapter 342: Ch 341: Easy Solution - Part 2
Leon and Iris were sent out almost immediately, and Kael had to admit that the two of them were far more effective than he had expected.
Leon did not even need to use his sword since a simple display of his strength was enough to make most of the people causing trouble realise that they were completely outmatched.
Iris, on the other hand, was a completely different story.
She had no patience for people who refused to listen, and whenever someone decided that they could take advantage of the situation, she simply grabbed them by the collar and threw them aside.
"Is this really necessary?"
Leon asked after watching Iris throw another man onto the ground.
"Of course it is. They will not listen otherwise."
Iris replied without hesitation, before looking around at the people who had gathered. Most of them had finally calmed down, especially after seeing the two of them deal with the troublemakers so easily.
It did not take long for word to spread that two powerful awakened people were helping the government establish order. But at the same time, the rumor that they were about to go independent also spread.
The people who had been trying to take advantage of the chaos quickly became much more careful, while the ordinary civilians started gathering around the government-controlled areas for protection.
It was not a perfect solution, but it was enough to buy them some time.
By the time Leon and Iris returned, Officer Tyson looked like he had aged several years despite the fact that only a few hours had passed.
"You two actually managed to do it."
He muttered while staring at them.
"I told you that I could handle it."
Leon replied with a tired expression, while Iris simply shrugged.
"They were not particularly strong. The problem was that there were too many of them."
"That is exactly why we need something more permanent."
Tyson pointed out before looking towards Kael.
"The government cannot keep relying on you people whenever something happens. We need a system that can handle awakened people even when you are not around."
Kael nodded because he had already been thinking about the same thing.
"You need guilds and we need them fast."
The moment Kael said those words, Tyson looked confused.
"A guild?"
"Yes. A proper organisation for awakened people. It would give them a place to gather, receive training, take on missions, and earn money by dealing with dungeons and monsters. On the surface, they won’t be connected to the government so people will be more inclined to come there and ask for help."
Kael explained, and Tyson slowly began to understand what he was suggesting.
"That actually sounds reasonable."
"It would also give the government a way to keep track of awakened people without having to control every single one of them."
Leon added, and Kael nodded.
"Exactly. If we force everyone to work directly under the government, there will always be people who resist. But if we give them freedom while also giving them responsibilities, things will be much easier to manage."
Officer Tyson rubbed his chin as he thought about it.
"So the guild would be independent, but still cooperate with the government?"
"Something like that."
Kael answered before looking at Iris.
"And Iris already has experience with this kind of structure."
Iris blinked before pointing at herself.
"Me?"
"You were a gladiator. You understand how contracts, ranks, and organisations work better than most of us."
"That does not mean I know how to run one. I-"
She immediately rejected the idea, causing Kael to laugh.
"Don’t worry. I am not asking you to run it. I just want your opinion and expertise. We all have experience running an orginization...well, almost everyone."
Kael was the only one who had never headed anything.
Iris sighed in relief before sitting down.
"Well, if you want my opinion, then I guess I can comply. We will need a lot of space first as well as a solid base."
"That sounds like a good start."
Tyson immediately began writing down notes.
"Then we can create different guilds across the country instead of forcing everyone into one giant organisation. But we will need to act fast. I am sure the others will have similar ideas."
Kael nodded at that. This situaion was too much like a novel for people not to follow their examples.
"Right. And the government can establish the rules while allowing the guilds to manage their own members."
The discussion continued for a while, with everyone adding their own ideas. Even Seraphina eventually joined the conversation, suggesting that the guilds should have proper healers and shelters for injured awakened people.
By the time they finished, Officer Tyson had filled several pages with notes.
He stared at them for a moment before letting out a long sigh.
"We actually have the foundation of a guild system."
Kael leaned back in his chair.
"Then I suppose we should get started."
And with that, the first guilds of this new world began to take shape.
...
Once again, the news started like a rumor but it caught fire quickly. But at the end of the day, news about the ’Star Guild’ spread, but people were still suspicious.
No one doubted that the government had a hand in its formation. Otherwise, it had formed too quickly. But it was also rumored that the super-strong individuals that had returned the order were part of this orginization.
It became a part of public interest and people began to keep an eye on it. They were going to decide whether it was something worth investing in based on the results they see.
Kael knew that it was an important time for him and his team, so he was ready.
The next dungeon raid was going to be important and this time, Kael would make sure to establish his dominance over everyone.
After all, humans were weak against power and authority and the second they saw that he had both, they would stand behind him.
