Chapter 731: Chapter 731: Fleeing Famine 36

"Old Yang, you go and talk to the comrades at the Public Security Bureau." She drew out a mountain vine and stepped forward to tie him to a bamboo pole.

Then she walked over to Xiao Ling and fed her one Revitalizing Pill and one Healing Pill, also giving one Revitalizing Pill and one Healing Pill each to Xiao Wu and Xiao Yu, saying, "Xiao Wu, Xiao Yu, this is medicine for healing, quickly eat it."

"Grandmother, how is my little sister?" Xiao Yu choked up and said, "It’s all my fault for having weak martial arts and not protecting my little sister. Grandmother, will my little sister die?"

"No, as long as grandmother is here, Xiao Ling will wake up soon." Yuan Chun lifted her little granddaughter and said, "Let’s go, grandmother will take you home first to heal."

"Grandmother, what about Old Yang?" Xiao Wu looked at Old Yang lying on the ground, unable to move but glaring at them with hatred, "Grandmother, the Su Jingshan he mentioned, is that the old grandpa?"

"We’ll talk about this at home, Xiao Ling is seriously injured, let’s take her home first."

"Alright, grandmother."

On the way down the mountain, they saw the captain coming up with Geng Dalin and twenty village militiamen.

Geng Dalin saw her holding his little daughter and hurriedly ran over, "Mother, what happened to Xiao Ling?"

"She’s injured and unconscious," Yuan Chun said, "but it’s nothing serious. I’ve already given her healing medicine, she’ll wake up in two to three hours."

Knowing his little daughter would be alright, Geng Dalin breathed a sigh of relief and extended his hand, "Mother, let me carry her."

Yuan Chun handed the child to him and turned to the captain, saying, "Captain, Old Yang wanted to kill my grandchildren. He’s up the mountain, I tied him to a tree, take people up to capture him and send him to the Public Security Bureau."

"Alright, Old Yang has harmed the children of our village, his crimes are heinous. Such a vicious person should never be left in our village, I will send both him and his wife to the Public Security Bureau."

After the captain finished speaking, he took the villagers up the mountain.

Yuan Chun bent down again and picked up her eldest granddaughter, "Xiao Yu, you are injured, grandmother will carry you."

"Grandmother, my chest hurts." Xiao Yu said tearfully, "Why did Old Yang want to kill our family?"

"We’ll talk at home, grandmother will tell you."

On the way back, Yuan Chun instructed 007 to investigate the details of this matter. ℴℴ𝘮

When the family returned home, 007 had already retrieved the truth of those past events from Heaven Dao.

"Host, that Old Yang was actually the grandson of Yang Cheng, the escort agency where Su Jingshan was years ago. Su Jingshan offended the Yao family back then, and after he left, Yao Wanhua couldn’t find him and vented her anger on that escort agency."

"The Yao family always secretly colluded with bandits, often government and bandits worked together to rob merchants of goods and money. Yao Wanhua bribed the escort agency, sending the routes and times of their escorts to those bandits, causing the escort agency to suffer robberies and lose many escorts, including the deaths of many dart masters."

"Later, the Yang Family investigated and found out the mastermind was the Yao family. The Yang family then took the dart masters and went to sneak attack the Yao family at night, wanting revenge for the dead dart masters."

"At that time, the Yao family had firearms, and no matter how skilled in martial arts the dart masters were, they couldn’t withstand bullets. All the people sent by the escort agency died."

"About twenty to thirty guards from the Yao family also died, and the Yao family’s third and fifth ranked sons also died on that night."

"Father Yao lost two sons at once. After discovering it was done by the Yang family, he sent people to kill the entire Yang family."
