Chapter 730: Fleeing from Famine 35

Chapter 730: Chapter 730: Fleeing from Famine 35

Yuan Chun saw the situation, removed her hands from his chest, looked into his eyes, and said, "It’s good that you’re awake. Thank you for saving the children of my family."

"No need to thank me, I..."

Huo Guochang’s eyes were a bit red. He knew that Mrs. Da Lin was his half-sister, but he couldn’t acknowledge her.

In his position, acknowledging her would only bring disaster to his sister’s family.

Huo Guochang coughed a few times, looked at the team leader, and suddenly said, "Team leader, it was... it was Old Yang who wanted to harm the children of the Old Geng Family. I saw it, and many of the children here also saw it."

The team leader’s face changed, and he looked at a group of children, shouting, "Did any of you see Old Yang in the cowshed harming the children of the Old Geng Family?"

Geng Xiaowen came out crying, "Grandpa Captain, that Old Yang said he twisted his leg and asked me to help him. I went over and was just about to reach out to help him, but he suddenly pushed me. My second sister was beside me, and when she saw I was about to fall into the pond, she grabbed me, but that Old Yang pushed my second sister too. If Old Huo hadn’t saved us, we all would have drowned."

Only then did Yuan Chun notice that her little grandson and second granddaughter were also drenched, their lips pale from the cold, shivering all over.

Yuan Chun hastily said, "You two go home and change clothes quickly. Where are your older brothers and sisters?"

Geng Xiaowen cried even louder, "Grandma, wow, Brother jumped into the water, after saving Old Huo, he went after Old Yang. Eldest sister and third sister also went after him. Grandma... please go save big brother and big sister."

Upon hearing this, Yuan Chun couldn’t bother with Huo Guochang anymore. She said to the team leader, "Team leader, I’m going to catch Old Yang. Please help and get these kids home to change clothes."

Then, she ran off.

A few people were fighting in a group on the back mountain of Fengling Village.

Three children were surrounding an old man. At first, they were evenly matched, but gradually, as the children’s strength waned, the three of them started to lose ground.

Geng Xiaoling had the weakest martial arts. She was hit by Old Yang, suffered internal injuries, and blood trickled from the corners of her mouth, but she persisted.

Geng Xiaowu was anxious, "Little sister, quickly go down the mountain and get Grandma."

"I won’t leave. If I go, you and big sister will die. I can still hang on."

"Little sister, if you don’t go call for help, all three of us will die. Go call Grandma. If she comes quickly, she might still save us."

"Xiao Ling, big brother is right, go quickly."

"I..."

Bang...

Geng Xiaoyu was kicked by Old Yang, flying into a bamboo tree hard, and then fell to the ground.

With a spurt, Geng Xiaoyu spat out a mouthful of blood.

Geng Xiaoling panicked, "Big sister..."

"Little sister, you must go... go call Grandma."

"I... Ah..."

Just as Geng Xiaoling was about to run, she was slapped on the back by Old Yang. Geng Xiaoling flew ten meters away, also spitting blood, her head tilted, and she fainted.

Geng Xiaowu, angered and frustrated, gritted his teeth, "Old Yang, you killed my little sister, I’ll fight you to the death."

Geng Xiaowu launched a desperate attack.

Old Yang suddenly burst into laughter and said, "My Yang family, over twenty people, were slaughtered because of Su Jingshan. He owed my Yang family 23 lives, and now I’m just taking a few lives in return."

"If you want revenge, go to the underworld and seek it from my father."

Yuan Chun suddenly flew over, delivering a kick that sent Old Yang flying. She then coldly stared at him, "I don’t care what grudges your Yang family has with my father. If you want to kill my grandchildren, I won’t allow it."
