At a solemn, dignified red roundtable surrounded by darkness, Yu Zhizhi sat in a plush chair. She tightly clutched the coin the Cat Clan youth had given her. A smile touched her lips as she saw the familiar talisman. “It’s been a while.”

After a pause, Yu Zhizhi asked softly, “Is this a Divine Hall meeting?”

The paper of the talisman seemed to flutter open as if caught in a breeze, making a RUSTLING sound. “It is not. Zero Messenger simply has something important to discuss with you.”

A thick green mist swirled about, and the talisman let out a sinister “HEH HEH HEH” laugh. “He’s here.”

Yu Zhizhi heard footsteps. The Cat Clan youth emerged from the darkness, dressed in lavish attire as if he had just left a banquet. Upon seeing Yu Zhizhi, his cat-like pupils brightened slightly, and he revealed a cute little fang.

He stopped by the roundtable, placed his right hand over his chest, and bowed to Miss Rabbit. “Thank you for coming.”

Yu Zhizhi stood up, lifted the hem of her skirt, and curtsied lightly in return.

Zero straightened up, his gaze uncontrollably landing on the Rabbit Clan girl. ‘It’s been so long. She looks to be in excellent spirits; life in the territory must be treating her well.’

He gestured for Zhi Zhi to sit down.

Yu Zhizhi sat down, looking at the Cat Clan youth with curiosity. ‘I wonder why he wanted to see me this time?’

Silence hung over the roundtable. A faint smile played on Zero’s lips. He got straight to the point. “We discovered some white remains at Sun Ridge. The circumstances are unique, however, and require a Divine Position holder with an Evolution Talent to accompany us. Are you willing, Ms. Zhi Zhi?”

“Is this…” Yu Zhizhi’s eyes widened slightly. “A mission?”

‘This is the first time I’ve ever gotten a mission invitation from the Divine Hall!’

Zero nodded lightly. “Yes. After completing this mission, you will receive a reward from the Divine Hall. However, there are also potential dangers. Ms. Zhi Zhi, you should consider it carefully.”

Yu Zhizhi knew the Divine Hall was dedicated to fulfilling a grand mission, and that was why the others had gathered.

A smile appeared on her lips. “I’m willing to go.”

The Cat Clan youth looked up at her. “You’ve decided so quickly?”

“Does this mean I’ll get to see Zero?” Yu Zhizhi asked curiously.

The Cat Clan youth faltered for a moment.

‘She wants… to see me?’

Zero said softly, “No.2 Envoy will be accompanying you.”

Yu Zhizhi planned to return to her territory to prepare, so she left the Divine Hall Illusion Realm.

After the female of the Rabbit Clan had left, the mouth on the talisman above the center of the roundtable opened and closed, dark green bubbles popping one by one. “That’s it?”

Sitting in the plush chair, Zero looked at the Ancient Book in his hand. His expression was a bit weary as he slowly raised his eyes to the talking talisman. “…Hm?”

The talisman stared at him.

“Aren’t you going to talk with her more? Or I could have made myself scarce.”

The Cat Clan youth silently looked away, his gaze falling on the place where the little rabbit had sat. “She will leave.”

“Leave for where?” the talisman asked, confused.

Zero didn’t answer the question, instead murmuring, “If you can’t make them stay, it’s better not to form a bond at all.”

“HEH HEH HEH~” The talisman started laughing. “Is it because of the Paradise Leader? They are so sweet together, after all.”

The Cat Clan youth with the choppy, black-and-white hair suddenly laughed, his little fang flashing in the air. “Come, let’s go meet the new envoy.”

The talisman looked at him in confusion. It seemed to understand that Zero didn’t want to talk about this.

When Yu Zhizhi emerged from the Divine Hall Illusion Realm, she began to pack her luggage. Little Octopus noticed her activity and watched from the side with curiosity.

The little fireball, Loy, was comparatively calm. It nodded. “Don’t worry, Master. I will take good care of the territory, and Aquilia.”

Little Octopus squeezed in, carrying a huge bundle on its back. Ai Xi stood at the door, watching them with some concern.

“Lady Lord…”

After a long hesitation, she said softly, “Are you really going to Sun Ridge?”

‘It’s very dangerous there.’

Ai Xi was very worried something would happen to the Lady Lord. If it did, how would she ever explain it to the Paradise Leader?

Yu Zhizhi nodded lightly.

Ai Xi spoke again. “In that case, why not let Sir Jialou go with you? He spent a long time at Sun Ridge.”

Jialou was from the Knight Alliance, and Sun Ridge was like his old stomping grounds. Moreover, Sir Jialou was the territory’s strongest guard. If he went along, the Lady Lord would be much safer.
