Pregnant Bunny, Obsessed Beast Husbands
Chapter 437: I Like Spider the Most
Chapter 437: Chapter 436: I Like Spider the Most
The man’s mysterious, heterochromatic eyes grew even more captivating in the darkness, seeming to pull the entire room into a strange world. She could feel the distinct touch of his fingers on her lips…
Hearing his low, calm, yet husky voice, Yu Zhizhi didn’t know why, but her heartbeat suddenly became deafeningly clear.
The silent night, the cold moonlight, his slender fingers, those heterochromatic eyes that looked as if they could swallow her whole, and the cool spider silk binding her body bit by bit…
A deep and ardent kiss.
A tremor Yu Zhizhi couldn’t suppress ran through her. He suddenly lifted her up and set her down on the bookcase.
She sat there as he interlaced his fingers with hers.
The Lord of Paradise’s muted, husky voice whispered in her ear, “If you can’t take it, you can try begging for mercy.”
Begging for mercy…
‘Sob… Spider is a liar! I begged for mercy, but it was completely useless!’
The Lord of Paradise looked at the little rabbit in his arms, her face flushed and her eyes welling with tears. When asked “Who does my lady like the most?”, she had whimpered and clung to him, forced to repeat over and over that she liked Master Spider the most…
Yu Zhizhi’s hands were bound behind her back with spider silk. She felt a distinct touch on her neck and shivered.
Spider turned her around.
…
For the next week, the Young Master did everything he could to stick to Yu Zhizhi’s side. Sometimes, however, he would be lured away by the temptation of delicious food and taken off by Ai Xi to indulge.
Yu Zhizhi knew that Louis and the others had to return to Paradise.
‘The “truce period” negotiated by the Three Great Empires seems to be ending soon… But the current situation has been complicated by the smugglers. I haven’t been to the Divine Hall in a long time. I wonder how Zero is doing?’
When it was time for Louis to leave, Yu Zhizhi saw him off at the port. She stuffed a whole bag of washed cherries into his hands. “For the road.”
She was still a little sad to see Louis and the others go…
As if knowing what she was thinking, Louis said softly, “I’ll come see you when I’m free.”
All three personalities had left their unique Transmission Ripples behind.
‘The territory is probably going to be very lively from now on.’
The guards to the side watched as the Lady Lord and the Paradise Leader seemed unable to part. As the sea vessel approached, Louis leaned down and embraced her.
Yu Zhizhi watched him leave.
The female from the Bee Clan was also by her side. After their leader boarded the ship, she performed a small farewell gesture.
Meanwhile, the Guard Commander from the Knight Alliance, Jialou, leaned against a rock by the bridge. With his hands clasped behind his head, he stared up at the cloudless blue sky. The sea breeze was slightly salty. Just like any other day, it was an exceedingly calm and leisurely one.
“Lady Lord,” Ai Xi said softly, “the Young Master has gone back as well.”
Through Prince Canglan’s Transmission Ripple.
Yu Zhizhi gave a slight nod.
Paradise’s ship had already shrunk to a small black dot on the horizon. She had grown used to having Louis and the others around during this time, and seeing them leave now felt a little strange.
Yu Zhizhi then remembered that once she maxed out the affection levels of all her targets, she would have to leave this world.
‘When that time comes…’
‘Should I tell Louis?’
‘I should probably say a proper goodbye, shouldn’t I…’
Yu Zhizhi gently lifted the hem of her skirt, slowly turned, and walked back toward the inner part of her territory.
The coastal guards remained dutifully at their posts.
Only Jialou followed her from a distance.
“Ai Xi,” Yu Zhizhi called softly, “please help me send another letter.”
‘A letter?’
The female from the Bee Clan paused for a moment. She suddenly thought of the Prince Merfolk of the Deep Sea Empire. Back at the Extreme Ice Palace, it was already clear that the Lady Lord’s feelings were deepest for the Lord Leader and the Prince Merfolk.
She smiled faintly. “Of course.”
Yu Zhizhi planned to write an invitation to Yusen.
She often received short messages from Yusen, but when Louis was around, he would confiscate her communicator.
It would probably take some time for Yusen to receive the invitation and arrive, so Yu Zhizhi decided to make a trip to the Divine Hall in the meantime.
Suddenly thinking of the affection levels, she couldn’t help but check them.
Louis, Affection Level: 100.
Lou, Affection Level: 100.
Spider, Affection Level: 96.
A small smile touched Yu Zhizhi’s lips when she saw the results. ‘So Lou reached 100, too.’
‘Spider’s has gone up a lot, only 4 points away from a perfect score…’
‘I’ll just have to try harder next time we meet~’
‘The ones with maxed-out affection levels right now are Louis, Yusen, and Lou…’
Yu Zhizhi thought about the Duke as well. She always felt his affection level of 100 had to be a system bug. She hadn’t dared to check it again, deciding to leave it for last.
‘The ones close to a perfect score are Spider and Tang Luo Ke. I can still see Spider, but Tang Luo Ke’s whereabouts are still unknown. How am I supposed to max out his remaining affection points?’
‘As for those who are still far from a perfect score, there’s Cang Lan, Zero, and Big Shark…’
‘The lowest one is Dracula.’
Yu Zhizhi rested her chin in her hands. She thought about her reunion with Dracula in the Underground City. He really didn’t remember her at all. She wondered if she tried writing him a letter, would she get a response?
Two Little Elves flew in from the balcony.
The little, dark ice-colored sphere landed on the table. It had a quiet and clingy personality; when Yu Zhizhi was busy, it would nestle quietly against her arm.
Meanwhile, the little fireball’s Level had nearly caught up to Aquilia’s in just one short week.
It liked to patrol the territory and often stood guard on the balcony railing. Although its current combat power wasn’t formidable, it always remained vigilant of its surroundings.
It was usually cold and aloof, a complete contrast to its blazing, fiery body. Only when it was with Yu Zhizhi did it soften up a little.
Seeing them, Yu Zhizhi reached out and stroked them gently.
“COO~ COO~”
Aquilia squeezed its way over.
The little fireball, Loy, shot it a sideways glance, then immediately pushed it away. The little dark ice-colored sphere tumbled through the air a few times.
It stared blankly at Loy.
Yu Zhizhi couldn’t help but laugh. She hugged the little fireball and nuzzled it, then reached out to pull Aquilia into her arms as well—
‘I don’t know why, but I always feel so happy when I’m with these two little ones.’
‘Maybe it’s because, like me, they don’t belong to this world.’
Yu Zhizhi played with the two little spheres for a while longer. On the table, the coin Zero had once given her began to glow faintly.
She looked over. ‘Is Zero looking for me?’
Yu Zhizhi quickly grabbed the coin. ‘He was never around when I tried to find him before.’
“I have to go out for a bit.”
Yu Zhizhi stroked Aquilia’s dark, icy wings, then stood up and drew the curtains.
Aquilia and Loy watched her, confused.
Yu Zhizhi instructed them, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon.”
With that said, she used the coin and entered the Divine Hall Illusion Realm.
The figure in the room suddenly vanished. Aquilia was so startled it shot up, nearly hitting the ceiling!
Loy panicked too, but it was much calmer than Aquilia.
It remembered its master’s instructions before she left and floated in the air with a serious expression, awaiting her return.
「Divine Hall Illusion Realm.」
At the familiar round table, the Array Talisman above gurgled as it spewed a thick, dark-green mist. “Long time no see, Miss Rabbit.”
