The guards outside the castle were all startled by the tremendous noise. They rushed over, surrounding the area, and found that the Lady Lord’s new Beast Husband, the Paradise Leader, was fighting—

—the Crown Prince of the Moon Rising Empire?!

The Moonrise guards stared, dumbfounded, their hands faltering on the hilts of their swords.

Jialou sat on the steps outside the castle with a stalk of foxtail grass between his teeth, squinting as he watched the two fight a fierce battle in the distance.

Lou had a volatile temper. His slashes seemed wild and without form, yet every strike was ferocious, leaving no path for retreat.

However, his target was crystal clear. ’It’s that tiger who brought a cub to ruin my honeymoon with my little rabbit!’

But since this was his little rabbit’s territory, he did his best to hold back, lest he damage the flowers she had planted.

Cang Lan, too, was suppressing a simmering rage. Seeing Lou now only made him find the man even more of an eyesore!

Below, a Knight Alliance guard looked on with concern. "Commander, should we intervene?"

’They’re fighting so fiercely. What if the Lady Lord gets caught in the crossfire?’

Jialou grinned. "Don’t worry about it."

’The Crown Prince of Moonrise fighting the Paradise Leader... A battle like this is a rare spectacle. They might as well just enjoy the show from the sidelines.’

Suddenly, the smile on Jialou’s lips froze. His gaze sharpened as he took the foxtail grass from his mouth and looked toward the back of the castle.

’Well, well.’

’After lazing around the territory for so long, have I finally caught something with a death wish?’

The guards, however, clearly hadn’t noticed a thing.

All they knew was that the two figures clashing above had stopped in unison.

Lou’s brows furrowed, and he dashed directly toward the back of the castle.

Cang Lan, riding his sword, followed close behind.

Lou scoffed, "What are you doing here? This territory’s affairs are none of your business."

Cang Lan shot him a look and sneered, "You’re not the First Beast Husband. What’s there to be so smug about?"

Lou’s expression changed drastically. He glared daggers at Cang Lan, who was flying on his sword, so enraged that his Spider form almost burst out.

The dark shadow, with almost nowhere to hide under the sun, found itself enveloped by such a terrifying aura for the first time. It looked up in shock just as Lou’s blade sliced its form apart. The shadow wavered like black smoke, only to be met by a boundless golden light as countless sharp swords descended from the sky, tearing its body to shreds.

The shadow let out a final, agonizing wail—

Jialou, who arrived last, pinned a residual shadow that was trying to sneak away under his foot. Only after this final wisp of its aura dissipated completely did a grin, one that reveled in the chaos, appear on his face.

"My apologies. Our patrols were a bit lax, which gave this thing an opening. I’ll go draw up a new plan right away. You two, please, continue."

Jialou departed at once.

As he turned, he saw the Lady Lord running toward them, slightly out of breath. He bowed. "Lord."

"Wh-what’s wrong?" Yu Zhizhi slowed to a stop, noticing that everyone was rushing in this direction.

Jialou replied, "Nothing serious. We just took care of one that slipped through the cracks."

Sky Star Territory was in an extremely remote location, but its current living conditions were so favorable that it would inevitably attract some covetous gazes.

Taking advantage of their temporary truce, Yu Zhizhi hurried over.

The little tiger cub trotted along at her heels.

"Lou, Prince Canglan, are you two okay?" Yu Zhizhi asked, looking at them with concern.

Hearing her say his name first, Lou broke into a proud smile and shot a provocative glance at Cang Lan.

Cang Lan’s already pale face seemed to grow even more grim.

Lou tossed his blade aside. ’A weapon this sharp might hurt my little rabbit.’

"I’m fine. Never better."

He had just moved closer, but before he could pinch his little rabbit’s cheek, the Tiger Clan cub jumped in front of Yu Zhizhi, baring its fangs.

Yu Zhizhi bent down and picked it up.

Lou glared at the little tiger. As Yu Zhizhi held it and slowly turned toward Cang Lan, the prince, already in midair, flew off into the distance with a cold expression, leaving only a single sentence behind—

"I’ll be back for him in a week."

The little tiger cub happily wagged its tail.

Hahaha!

’I get to stay with Mother again!’

Yu Zhizhi assumed Cang Lan had come specifically to drop off the little tiger cub. She lowered her head and nuzzled the tiger cub’s ear, feeling quite happy.

Lou, however, could clearly tell that the tiger had done it on purpose!

’A week?’

’I have to go back to Moonrise in a week!’

Lou suddenly thought of something. "How did he get here?"

That question...

Yu Zhizhi froze, unsure if she should tell Lou.

He quickly realized. "The ripple!"

Lou’s spirits lifted. "No way, I have to leave a mark here too! Then I can come over whenever I have free time!"

’And I’ll have to conceal the ripple’s aura so Louis and Spider don’t find out!’

’Anyway, Spider and Louis handle all of Paradise’s affairs. As long as I can take control of the body, I’ll be able to come to the territory and see my little rabbit!’

Haha~

Lou cheered up and began searching for a suitable spot.

Yu Zhizhi followed him.

Lou ended up leaving his own dark green ripple on the other side of the castle. He squatted on the ground, gazing at his masterpiece with great satisfaction. The thought that he could now see his little rabbit often made him indescribably happy.

The territory returned to peace.

Jialou gave a simple report on recent events. Yu Zhizhi set the little tiger cub down, her arms a bit sore from holding him.

’This little tiger cub is growing up so fast.’

’I probably won’t be able to carry him for much longer~’

After finishing his report, Jialou bowed and departed.

Yu Zhizhi turned back. "Lou, are you done?"

She noticed that Lou, still squatting on the ground, seemed a bit stiff from behind.

The Lord of Paradise, now in control of the body, stared at the dark green ripple and immediately understood what Lou had been thinking.

He pressed his right palm against it, infusing it with his own spiritual power.

Yu Zhizhi waited quietly.

Once everything was settled, the Lord of Paradise stood up. He slowly turned around, his deep, heterochromatic eyes fixed on the little rabbit. After a long moment, his voice rang out, "Did you have a pleasant day, Wife?"

’...Wife?’

Yu Zhizhi suddenly felt a little shy. The corners of her lips curved up slightly as she found an excuse to quickly walk away. "I think Aquilia is calling for me."

Inside Little Octopus’s room, Aquilia let out a "CHIRP." Its dark, ice-colored wings shimmered faintly. Hearing familiar footsteps, it happily went to greet her.

Yu Zhizhi gently pushed open the door.

Little Octopus said excitedly, "You’re just in time! Quick, look! It’s coming out!"

Every hatching signified the birth of a new life.

Little Octopus’s tentacles wrapped around Yu Zhizhi’s wrist and pulled her over to the Incubator.

The cracks on the dark red Elf Egg glowed like molten lava.

Yu Zhizhi couldn’t help but hold her breath.

As she squatted down, she suddenly noticed that Little Octopus seemed to have grown taller as well...

But her attention was soon drawn back to the Pet Egg.

With a "CRACK," the Pet Egg split completely open.
