Although Ma Bin couldn’t understand why Gu Xiaozhan was so protective of Mu An, he had to watch him closely, making sure there were no mistakes.

Of course, Ma Bin had also spoken to Mu Anhan about Mu An, but Mu Anhan said to treat him with a normal mindset.

When Lu Lu saw Mu An struggling a bit to mount the tall horse, she sneered.

She loved adventure-type activities abroad, and horse riding was no challenge to her.

She pulled the horse’s mane, swung onto the horse, and sped forward, leaving Mu An far behind.

Aix stood in place and shook his head, muttering, "What’s wrong with Lu? Why is she bickering with a newcomer?"

Ma Bin snorted, "She’s trying to gain Gu President’s attention."

"Gu President is already married and has children, and she still acts like this?" Aix seemed to disagree.

Ma Bin watched the figure disappearing into the distance: "Only she can understand that."

After Lu Lu and Mu An went racing, Gu Xiaozhan hurried over.

He had just taken a business call, and the little troublemaker went off to play again.

She should know Lu Lu is hostile to her; if she gets hurt because of him, he wouldn’t know how to forgive himself.

Gu Xiaozhan quickly mounted another black horse, squeezed its belly, and galloped away.

Actually, Gu Xiaozhan’s worries were unnecessary.

Mu Anhan had long wanted to teach Lu Lu a lesson; if she wanted to compete in horseback riding, she should lose thoroughly.

Amid the crowd’s cheers, Lu Lu thought she’d be the first to cross the line.

Unexpectedly, Mu An, who was behind her, overtook her and crossed the line first.

"Whoa!" Lu Lu commanded her horse to stop.

"Mu An is formidable!" Ma Bin was the first to shout.

Upon hearing the leader shout that, the other development staff joined in.

Lu Lu was displeased. She moved forward and whipped Mu An’s horse on its rump.

The horse was startled and suddenly dashed away.

Mu An pulled the horse’s mane, causing the horse to turn its head and charge straight towards Lu Lu’s horse.

Lu Lu wanted to evade but it was too late.

In just that moment, a true man and horse flipped upside down.

Lu Lu was thrown far by the horse, while Mu An leapt off the horse. As everyone feared she would land on the ground, suddenly a big horse raced over, and a man on the horse bent over, reached out, and caught her in his arms.

The horse continued to gallop.

Mu An was pulled into the man’s embrace, and the two rode forward together.

The crowd had not yet come to their senses when Lu Lu wailed; she landed on the grass, and rolled over several times.

She lay on the ground, only able to watch helplessly as Gu Xiaozhan rode farther and farther away with Mu An.

Why wasn’t Mu An the one who fell off the horse? Lu Lu thought angrily.

"Aix..."

No one came to help her, so Lu Lu had to call for him.

Aix was somewhat reluctant, "Lu, why do you always compete with a new employee? It lowers your status."

Lu Lu glared at him angrily, "Haven’t you noticed that there’s something wrong between Gu Xiaozhan and her?"

"That’s a problem Mrs. Gu should worry about," Aix said as he helped her up.

Lu Lu snorted, "Don’t you like Mu Anhan? Now you have a chance."

As Ma Bin passed them, he mocked, "Too bad, in President Mu’s eyes, there’s only President Gu."

Lu Lu sneered, "Old Ma, if you care so much for President Mu, why not send this scene to her and let her be on guard."
