Summer, meanwhile, didn’t have time to read any of the comments.

She turned to Ilya and quickly asked, "Are you still going to continue the evaluation?"

If she was about to start kicking monster ass, then there was no way she was letting all of this go to waste without it counting toward her score.

Ilya looked at her for a moment before answering, "I can continue it. But if we do, you’ll be on your own again after this."

Summer nodded and switched out her poison gun for the rifle. "Sounds good to me."

Summer blinked at the screen. She honestly had no idea viewers could send actual items through the livestream.

Still, there was no way she was going to reject something valuable.

She immediately clicked [Yes].

The moment she accepted it, the mutated earthworms started slithering toward her. Summer quickly ran backward while keeping her eyes on them.

Since the boots sounded pretty useful, she might as well test them in a real fight.

A few seconds later, the sound of a drone came from above. Summer looked up and saw it flying straight through the polluted air with a black box hanging underneath it.

The drone quickly lowered itself and dropped the box a few meters in front of her.

Summer rushed forward and snatched it before the earthworms could get any closer. "Well, that was fast."

She quickly ducked behind a pile of rubble. Without wasting any time, Summer kicked off her old boots and pulled on the new pair.

Surprisingly, they fit her perfectly. How the hell did this guy know her shoe size just from watching the stream?

Honestly, it was a little creepy, but whatever.

She bounced lightly on her feet a few times, then her eyes widened when she suddenly felt much lighter.

It was almost like the boots were taking part of her weight away. Her steps felt easier, and even the pressure on her ankles had almost disappeared.

"Summer, they’re coming to you!" Saddie shouted from afar. She was already busy with her own fight, firing at another earthworm that had climbed out of the crack.

Summer turned her head and saw three mutated earthworms were rushing toward her at the same time. "Yeah, I can see that!"

She tightened her grip on the rifle and immediately started running.

The new boots made every step feel lighter. Even when she jumped over broken concrete and pieces of metal, she barely felt the impact when she landed.

One of the earthworms suddenly burst out of the ground in front of her.

Summer’s eyes widened. "Shit!"

She quickly planted one foot on a broken slab and jumped.

The creature opened its mouth beneath her. Then Summer immediately twisted her body in the air and kicked the side of its head.

Bang!

Her boot slammed into it hard enough to knock its head sideways and the earthworm crashed into the rubble.

Summer landed smoothly, then quickly raised the rifle.

Bang!

The bullet went straight through the creature’s head.

Summer stared at the notification for half a second and smiled. "Okay. I like these boots."

A scream suddenly came from her left. "HELP!"

Summer turned her head to the side and saw a young Sentinel had fallen beside a collapsed wall, one leg trapped under a piece of concrete. On the other side, an earthworm was already crawling toward him.

Without thinking too much, Summer changed her direction and ran straight toward him.

"Get your head down!" Summer shouted.

The sentinel asked in confusion. "What?!"

"DOWN!"

The Sentinel immediately covered his head without asking more questions.

Right after that, Summer jumped over him. She planted one foot against the wall, pushed herself higher, then twisted in midair.

Bang!

She fired her rifle and the bullet struck the earthworm right inside its open mouth. Not long after, the creature collapsed only a few meters away from them.
