Chapter 839 833: Mega Lucario Enters the Scene

"Delphox, Flame Charge!"

After taking the initiative in the battle, Delphox took advantage to pursue its rival.

It waved the magic wand in its hand, and then one of the fireballs in the air violently increased its flames.

Immediately afterward, that fireball suddenly moved, dragging a long fiery tail as it crashed into Lucario.

Originally, Flame Charge was a close-combat attack move, covering the body in flames to attack the opponent, build up strength, and increase one's own speed.

But in Delphox's hands, it had actually applied the effect of the move Flame Charge onto the fireball it had condensed, turning it into a flaming comet!

In addition, thanks to the acceleration ability of the move Flame Charge, the attack speed of that fireball was also unexpectedly high. Almost in the blink of an eye, it arrived in front of Lucario!

"Stop it!"

Seeing this, Lucario's gaze sharpened.

It raised its hand and launched the move Psychic, making that fireball shatter to pieces.

But that was only the beginning. As Delphox's magic wand waved, one fireball after another received the reinforcement of the move Flame Charge, transforming into flaming comets that dragged long fiery tails and launched themselves at Lucario.

Facing such a dense attack of fireballs, a blue light shone over Lucario. It used the move Teleport and disappeared from the spot.

But just as Lucario's figure appeared again, a flaming comet suddenly emerged in front of it, dragging a long tail of fire as it crashed into its body.

Boom!

Once again, Lucario was struck, and its figure shot backward.

"This... Ally Switch?"

Ethan frowned and turned his gaze toward the fireballs floating in the field.

Just now, Delphox had directly used the move Ally Switch to exchange the position of two fireballs in the field.

In addition to being able to exchange its own position with the flames, Delphox could also control two masses of fire to exchange positions.

In that way, unless one had a three-hundred-and-sixty-degree defense without blind spots, under Delphox's fire-coordinate tactic, it was truly very difficult to defend against its attacks!

"It seems I can't keep hiding it anymore."

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!

While Ethan reflected, several more flaming comets crashed into Lucario.

"Lucario, Aura!"

Hearing Ethan's words, Lucario nodded.

It closed its eyes slightly, and when it opened them again, all the aura power in its body was mobilized.

Raising its hand, the power of aura condensed in front of it and directly transformed into a barrier.

Boom, boom, boom!

The flaming comets crashed against the aura barrier and immediately turned into a sea of flames.

"It hit!"

"With such a strong attack, that Lucario is finished."

Seeing this scene, the spectators shook their heads with some regret.

Ethan's strength was truly very great. Having such power at that age undoubtedly made him a genius.

But when facing someone like Magnus, an Elite-level Trainer forged through long years of accumulation and training, he was still a little lacking.

"Wait, what is that?"

At that moment, a spectator suddenly shouted.

In the next instant, they saw the sea of flames burning half the field begin to distort violently.

Inside the sea of fire, a figure slowly walked out. On its body, a blue light enveloped it at that moment.

It was precisely that blue light that made the surrounding flames twist, while a terrifying wave of energy dispersed without end.

"It's Lucario! It still hasn't fallen!"

Seeing this scene, the spectators exclaimed.

Only, this Lucario's form seemed to have become different.

Although it could still be recognized as Lucario, its body had grown quite a bit.

In addition, several black markings appeared on Lucario's body, the color of its skin became darker, and its feet turned red.

"What's going on? Did Lucario evolve?"

Some spectators began to speculate. This form of Lucario had changed too much compared to before.

"It appeared again, that form that defeated the god of nightmares, Darkrai!"

Kevin and some other Trainers who had participated in the youth category of the Pokémon World Championship contracted their pupils.

"Now, the battle has just begun."

Seeing that Lucario had entered its new form of Mega Evolution, Ethan smiled slightly.

Although Lucario still did not fully master autonomous Mega Evolution, as long as Ethan gave it a little help, Lucario could very easily enter its megaevolved form.

"Delphox, Fire Spin!"

Seeing Lucario, which had become somewhat different, Magnus gave another order.

With a turn of the magic wand, several fireballs suddenly transformed into whirlpools of flames and bombarded Lucario.

This time, Lucario did not dodge again. It extended one hand and grabbed the void, condensing the power of aura.

In the next instant, an aura barrier formed, directly blocking all the attacks.

"It stopped them!"

"Wasn't that too easy?"

Seeing Lucario casually block the flame bombardment that covered the sky, everyone showed expressions of surprise.

Not only the spectators. Even Magnus's face became serious.

"Aura Sphere!"

After defending against the Fire-type move, Lucario raised its other hand, and the move Aura Sphere condensed in it.

Seeing the approaching Aura Sphere, Delphox once again used the move Ally Switch, wanting to exchange position with one of the masses of fire.

But in the next instant, Delphox felt an invisible force pressing down on its body, forcing it to stop using the move Ally Switch.

Boom!

The move Aura Sphere directly struck Delphox, causing a violent explosion.

Amid the smoke and dust of the explosion, Delphox's figure fell and crashed heavily against the ground.

In that instant, the hearts of all the spectators also trembled along with Delphox's fall.

Delphox, which had displayed the fire-coordinate tactic, failed to exchange position and was directly hit!

"What exactly is going on?"

"Why did Ally Switch fail?"

Magnus's brows also furrowed. In that situation, Delphox should have had enough time to use the move Ally Switch.

"Why did Ally Switch fail?"

In the secret room, the lord of the Battle Chateau was also thinking about that problem.

At the same time, through the butler's operation, an energy distribution map appeared.

On that energy distribution map, the entire field was locked by a powerful force.

And the center of that force was precisely Lucario, which stood on one side of the field.

It was evident that, through that powerful force, Lucario had directly locked space!

That caused the move Ally Switch, which involved spatial energy, to directly fail.

"Locking space!"

"What kind of move is this?"

Realizing this, the lord of the Battle Chateau could not help sucking in a breath of cold air.
