In its fury, Kingambit took the initiative and charged forward.
It lowered its head slightly, aiming the blade on top of its head at Tinkaton as it rushed in.
Iron Head!
Julian did not dodge. He swung his war hammer to meet it head-on.
Gigaton Hammer!
Clang!
Julian felt his hands go a little numb.
Kingambit, meanwhile, felt its head ring with dizziness.
No way! Isn’t this supposed to be an ordinary Tinkaton?
Why was its strength this great too?
In their first exchange, Kingambit had failed to take its opponent seriously.
Because of that carelessness, it suffered a small loss.
Charging forward again, Kingambit decided to test this Tinkaton properly with the two blades on its face.
As Kingambit ran at full strength, its speed was also extremely fast.
The black blades on its face gave off a faint dark glow.
Night Slash!
But Julian swung his war hammer and used Rock Smash to receive every attack.
Kingambit suddenly lowered its head heavily, attempting a surprise downward slash with the golden blade on top.
But Julian moved nimbly and easily avoided it.
Knowing that his opponent was the crafty Kingambit, Julian had never once lowered his guard.
It was not only the blade on its head. The curved blades around it’s waist could be used freely as well.
Even its hands and feet were weapons.
They clashed heavily again, and the huge force pushed both Tinkaton and Kingambit back.
Julian narrowed his eyes.
This really is a troublesome opponent
A living weapon.
It could freely use every part of its body in battle.
Kingambit was even more shocked.
As a survivor of the previous battle royale, it knew very well that aside from the monster known as the Tinkaton queen...
Every other Tinkaton had died.
The Tinkaton it had encountered today could not have been training for more than a year.
Yet its strength had already reached this level.
Kingambit had survived by a thread, endured two battle royales, and trained for two and a half years to obtain its current strength.
Why could Tinkaton catch up so easily?
It was unwilling to accept it.
Its attacks became even fiercer.
And it was not only Julian and Kingambit fighting.
Tinkaton, Tinkatuff, and Corviknight were also fighting the four Bisharp.
Only the victors would earn the right to support their leader!
Aside from Tinkaton, who was steadily suppressing one Bisharp, the other Tinkatuff and Corviknight were actually being held back two against one.
Julian did not care about the others.
Right now, only one thought existed in his heart.
Swing!
Defeat Kingambit!
Turn it into nourishment for my hammer!
Fighting Kingambit did not allow Julian even the slightest relaxation.
Extreme pressure made him madly squeeze out the energy hidden within this body.
That Fairy energy rapidly transformed into Tinkaton’s strength.
He swung the war hammer, striking Kingambit’s body again and again, a body it believed had been tempered through countless battles.
Kingambit refused to believe it would truly lose to Tinkaton.
Madness appeared in its eyes as it also began squeezing out every bit of strength in its body.
"Die, ignorant Tinkaton!"
Dense black light surrounded Kingambit’s body.
In the blink of an eye, it had rushed in front of Tinkaton.
Its body began to rotate, turning into a storm of blades.
That storm tried to tear Tinkaton’s small body apart.
But!
Julian would not let it have its way!
"Kingambit, try this Gigaton Hammer!"
Julian swung his war hammer and began rotating his own body as well.
The two storms were like spinning tops filled with fighting spirit.
They collided violently on the summit of Magnetic Mountain.
With every collision, astonishing sparks shot out in every direction.
The rocks protruding from Magnetic Mountain were sliced into fragments when touched by Kingambit’s blade storm.
When touched by Tinkaton’s hammer storm, they were smashed directly into rubble.
Both storms swept through smoothly, without the slightest obstruction.
Julian even seized an opportunity and borrowed Kingambit’s force to smash one unlucky Bisharp straight through the middle, folding it in half.
The two storms lasted for a full three minutes.
Only when Kingambit was sent flying did the battle finally come to an end.
Julian breathed heavily.
Kingambit looked at the approaching Tinkaton in fear.
Then it directly knelt in front of him.
"Can we... call it even?"
Tinkaton smiled.
"What do you think?"
A chance!
Black light surged over Kingambit’s head, and it aimed the blade on top of its head at Tinkaton.
Then it launched a sudden attack.
Kowtow Cleave!
This was Kingambit’s true hidden finishing move.
Back when it had still been Bisharp, whenever it encountered an opponent it could not defeat, it would kneel and beg for mercy.
It knew very well that its opponent would never let it go.
The enemy merely planned to toy with its emotions one final time.
But it could use that lowly kneeling plea to make the enemy drop their guard.
Then attack!
Reverse the outcome!
Facing Kingambit’s ambush, the answer it received was an even faster Gigaton Hammer.
It was sent flying.
Blood flowed from the corner of its mouth.
"Impossible. How did you know..."
Julian understood perfectly just how disgusting and despicable Kingambit could be.
A shameless move like Kowtow Cleave suited Kingambit’s species perfectly.
Julian had been guarding against it from the beginning.
Without answering it’s confusion, Julian stepped forward and swung his war hammer.
He finished off Kingambit.
"If you had put more of your energy into becoming stronger, perhaps I would have been the one to die today."
Kingambit was strong.
But it was not so strong that Julian could not defeat it.
The Tinkaton queen had overestimated it.
Julian had overestimated it too.
There had been gains, but not enough for Julian to challenge Archaludon yet.
Julian forged Kingambit into his war hammer.
This steel was not bad. It raised his strength another level.
At that moment, Julian felt a vague connection form between himself and the surrounding Tinkaton and Tinkatuff.
Following that connection, he could revive after being killed.
After killing four Bisharp, another Tinkatuff evolved into Tinkaton.
Interestingly, the Magneton that had been chased into desperate flight had actually evolved into Magnezone after the battle.
Julian looked at Magnezone.
"Magnezone, I want to ask you to gather the Magneton and Magnemite, then form an alliance with us Tinkaton and Corviknight."
"What do you think?"
If Magnezone could cry, it would probably have been in tears.
"Of course I’m willing!"
Tinkaton walked to Julian’s side.
"Are we really going to protect Magnezone and confront Archaludon directly?"
Julian was now full of confidence.
"I think we can fight it!"
"Its Electro Shot is powerful, but my Gigaton Hammer isn’t weak either!"
"Still, you’re right. We should ask the queen first."
The group of Pokémon returned to the mine mountain.
The Tinkaton queen waved her hand.
"I have no objections. With your current strength, fighting Archaludon head-on by yourself is still a little too difficult."
"But together with the flying team, resisting Archaludon won’t be a problem."
Hearing the queen say this, Julian, who had just finished fighting Kingambit...
Really wanted to clash with Archaludon again!
