"So we need to draw out all the protection detail," Qian Laoliu said with a mysterious smile. "I have a way to get them all to leave."

Over the next few days, the Mercenary Corps began to put their plan into action.

First, they snuck into the villa and installed an alarm in Thompson's house. Then, they called Thompson's bodyguards, claiming they had detected a disturbance and needed to inspect the house.

The bodyguards were drawn in by the sudden report and rushed off to investigate the supposed disturbance.

Once the bodyguards had left, the Mercenary Corps, disguised as maintenance workers, entered Thompson's garden. Using the surrounding trees and foliage for cover, they slowly closed in on Thompson.

Meanwhile, Qian Laoliu was perched on a high wall, observing Thompson's every move through his scope.

When Thompson walked into an open area, Qian Laoliu pulled the trigger. A shot rang out, and Thompson fell to the ground.

The bodyguards nearby seemed to realize something was wrong and began rushing into the garden. But by then, Qian Laoliu had already grabbed his sniper rifle, vaulted onto another high wall, and was continuing to survey the area.

He knew his teammates were engaging the bodyguards from different positions; now, he just had to wait for their signal.

Before long, Li Feng and a few team members broke through the bodyguards' defensive line from another side and successfully reached Qian Laoliu.

They quickly left the scene, leaving behind a crowd of panicked bodyguards and Thompson's body on the ground.

"Mission complete!" Li Feng said excitedly.

"Nice work!" Qian Laoliu patted Li Feng on the shoulder. "This operation went incredibly smoothly!"

But two days later, they received word: the man they had killed was a body double, a false target.

After coming up with a new plan, Li Feng took the lead. He skillfully adopted the tone of a potential business partner and gave Thompson a call.

"Hello, is this Chairman Tom? We have some business to discuss."

"Oh? What kind of business?" Thompson asked warily.

"It's a deal that could bring enormous returns. If successful, it would net your Tom Group eight hundred million US Dollars in profit."

"Eight hundred million US Dollars?" Thompson was stunned by the figure. He fell silent for a moment, then asked, "Who is this? And how are you in a position to discuss a deal of this size with me?"

"My name is Li Dalong. I'm a representative of the Li Group from Dragon Country," Li Feng replied, smiling.

"We can discuss the deal properly. As for the location, you can decide. Once we've settled things, we can sign the contract, and I can give you a two-hundred-million-dollar deposit."

Hearing this proposal, Thompson felt his resolve waver. He was a businessman, and he knew the importance of profit. After a moment's thought, he decided to talk with this Li Feng.

"Alright. We can meet at a teahouse on the Outer Island," Thompson said.

After agreeing on a time and place, they hung up. Li Feng breathed an inward sigh of relief. He knew he had successfully gotten Thompson's attention.

Now, he would need to be even more cautious and clever during the negotiation to ensure its success.

At the appointed time, Li Feng arrived early at the teahouse on the Outer Island. He sat by the window, slowly savoring the aroma of the tea.

A short while later, Thompson also arrived punctually at the teahouse. Spotting Li Feng, he walked over.

"Hello, Mr. Li Dalong," Thompson said, extending his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is mine." Li Feng shook Thompson's hand. "Please, sit and have some tea."

The two men sat at the tea table and began their negotiation. Li Feng took out a detailed prospectus and began introducing the proposed partnership to Thompson.

As Thompson listened to Li Feng's presentation, he grew more and more interested. He could tell this was an extremely promising partnership, one that could bring immense profits to his company.

"I'm very interested in your plan," Thompson said. "But I'll need more details and the full prospectus."

"No problem," Li Feng replied. "I can provide you with more information and details. However, I hope we can agree on one point: this partnership must be kept strictly confidential. It cannot be leaked to anyone."

"Of course," Thompson agreed. "We'll keep it a secret."

Over the next several hours, Li Feng and Thompson discussed their partnership plan in depth.

Thompson was attentive to every detail and raised many questions.

Li Feng patiently answered his questions, assuring him that the plan was not only feasible but would also bring immense profits.

Time passed quickly, and soon it was evening. Thompson looked at the night outside the window and suddenly said, "I believe this partnership can bring us great success."

"I believe so, too," Li Feng replied. "I hope we can work together to achieve that goal."

As night fell, Li Feng and Thompson reached an agreement.

They decided to work together to achieve their goal. Before they parted, Thompson shook Li Feng's hand.

"I believe you'll be an excellent partner," Thompson said. "I look forward to working with you."

"Thank you for your trust," Li Feng replied. "We will work hard to achieve that goal."

Li Feng was in a coffee shop, sipping a hot coffee. His gaze drifted over the steaming rim of his cup, feigning rapt attention as he listened to Thompson, who sat across from him.

He chimed in from time to time, adding his own insights, making the entire conversation seem harmonious and smooth.

However, his mind wasn't on the man in front of him, but on the sniper position he had selected—an inconspicuous corner,

that happened to provide a view of the entire coffee shop. His fingers tapped lightly on the rim of his cup, as if he were making a calculation.

"So, your plan this time is…" Thompson asked, frowning, a flicker of doubt on his face.

"The plan is simple. Improve the supply chain, optimize the process, and increase the profit margin," Li Feng replied nonchalantly, his eyes casually scanning the building across the street.

Thompson's frown deepened. He felt that something about this conversation was increasingly off. This

Li Feng had been using the business negotiation as an excuse to discuss completely unrelated topics. He began to suspect the true motives of the man sitting before him.

Suddenly, Li Feng's body gave a slight twitch, as if he were listening for something. At the same time, a faint glint of light flashed from a corner of the coffee shop.

At almost the exact same moment, Thompson's bodyguard suddenly went rigid and collapsed as if struck by a sledgehammer.
