Ma John clutched the wound on his face, his voice trembling as he said, "I... I understand."

Ma Dahua snorted coldly and turned to leave the basement. ’Chen Qingdi might have taken me on as a subordinate, but he doesn’t fully trust me,’ he thought. ’This test was just to make me more loyal.’ A wave of emotion washed over him. Ma John’s expression changed. "You... you should know, half of that is mine."

"Everything’s been taken care of," Ma Dahua replied.

"Very good." Chen Qingdi paused for a moment before adding, "You can keep the ten million US dollars."

Ma Dahua was stunned. He hadn’t expected the boss to be so generous. He was secretly delighted. "Thank you, Boss."

"Alright, get some rest. I’ll contact you when I have a mission for you." With that, Chen Qingdi hung up.

She told Chen Qingdi that her company was being targeted for some reason, causing cash flow problems, and she hoped he could come back to handle it as soon as possible.

Chen Qingdi’s brow furrowed as he listened. Though worried, he felt a surge of resolve. He said to Shen Mingyue, "Don’t worry, I’ll come back and handle this as soon as I can. Don’t panic. Stay calm. I’ve got this."

After hanging up, Chen Qingdi turned to see Ma Dahua walk in. Ma Dahua was Chen Qingdi’s loyal subordinate and had always handled various affairs for him. Chen Qingdi knew that although Ma Dahua was rough around the edges, he was a trustworthy person.
