Paragon of Sin

Chapter 1945 Chapter 1937 Over 100,000!

1945 Chapter 1937: Over 100,000!

Karmic Luck Value: 1,111,111.0.

""

The Karmic Luck Value of both Bloodline of Sin tattoos experienced a monumental growth far beyond Wei Wuyin's expectations. The leap of value from a single tattoo was enough to faintly exceed the entirety of his Karmic Luck gains throughout his entire lifetime as an Inheritor of Sin! Utterly outrageous!

And if the tattoos were considered in totality, both of which had divided the bestowed blessing of karmic luck distilled into quantifiable numbers, then the amount acquired from these Supreme Sages was 1,615,219!!

"Who was it?!

Who was the sinner that continued to egregiously break its three thousand commandments to the point of blatant excess? Unbeknownst to Wei Wuyin for now, the truth was simply: All of them. This was especially blatant for Superior Sages who've wielded their Heavenly Embodiment of Superior Authority, allowing them to break rules with ease as acting envoys of heaven.

The heavens were not the Heavenly Daos; if the Heavenly Daos were akin to a judge and jury, then the heavens were the continent by which the Heavenly Daos decided the dos and don'ts for all those living within. Supreme Sages were like local lords, capable of subverting or avoiding punishment with wealth and status. They held too much power and authority, capable of avoiding criminal charges despite their flagrant breaking of the rules.

That was...until the Heavenly Daos arranged for their Blessed to handle them. In this situation, it was quite clear that Empyreans were those high-level enforcers!

Wei Wuyin inspected his two Bloodline of Sin tattoos, discovering the black and gold tattoo added upon it-the symbol of an Empyrean, a Blessed Virtue! They had grown in size, roughly over three times their original size, perfectly reflecting his explosive growth as an Empyrean.

"So that's the representation of those blessed by the heavens! Who was that Black Skeleton? Did the entire world freeze?! Empyrean? What's that? Blessed Virtue! Whoa!" Athena exclaimed in shock and excitement. She was always slightly removed from Wei Wuyin's true secrets, unable to observe his journey into Hell or his experiences with the Black Skeleton.

Formerly, she was disconnected from Wei Wuyin by a small distance, which was explosively removed as she was named, settling within his Mind's Eye, unlike before where she was only being nurtured by his Sea of Consciousness under Eden's oversight. She could now communicate directly about these experiences, finding her horizons expanding massively.

While Wei Wuyin was contemplating this drastic elevation in Karmic Luck Value, Athena was given a complete overview of Wei Wuyin's experiences by all five Mystic Souls. They were happy to bring her into the loop.

After a few minutes, Athena's mood was no longer excited. Instead, she was incomparably solemn and enveloped in a haze of sadness and apology. The last emotion was out of pure guilt and pity.

"I...didn't know..." Her words caused the atmosphere to sink. The struggles of a mere mortal fighting against Hell and the Heavenly Daos were unimaginable. The mental strength and willpower required to push through, to fight without surrender, and to rise to the occasion again and again and again! Before, she had believed that Wei Wuyin was extraordinary beyond the limits of the word, but now...she understood that his challenges were far, far, far greater than she had ever thought of.

No wonder...

"You had...no choice but to grow..." Athena finally understood that existential death was Wei Wuyin's only outcome upon the slightest failure. He had to be perfect. For a mortal, the dread of death was horrifying, but existential death was enough to create a crisis of consciousness on a scale unlike anything.

In mortal societies, the concept of an afterlife was consistently present in beliefs for the sheer sake of having an alternative to nothingness. No living soul wanted to have their everything end, and even if it was simply their soul that remained with new memories and personalities, they wanted to feel immortal and thriving, and that there was bound to be something better if their suffering was overwhelming.

"..." Wei Wuyin was no longer bothered by such things, no longer held by the paralyzing fear he once felt. After all, there was a time when he was ready for it all to end, unwilling to fight against destiny, and treated his next forty or so years of continued life before the next calamity as just a heavenly gift. If not for that defiant display by that Dark (Evil) Cultivator that day, he might not have ever regained his Heart of Cultivation.

Athena's grim realization was met with hearty laughter by the man himself. "And look where I am today! I have to say: It all worked out. Haha!" Wei Wuyin's voice was genuine, not hiding any gripping fear concealed by fearlessness or joy. He was always afraid, but he was never afraid of feeling joy. If there was one thing he had learned from that dark period of his life where he was willing to just patiently wait for death, it was that he should enjoy life when possible.

"Good." Athena's gentle voice echoed out. Her guilt lessened slightly, but she also resolved herself. She would no longer be standing by the side. She will fight alongside her master in every challenge, whether they are against Hell, Heaven, or Unseen Divinities!

Stretching his limbs, Wei Wuyin began to roam the rogue planet, traveling its dried oceans and oddly shaped mountains, thinking about his plans in the Holy Void of Fortune.

"Everything's changed," Wei Wuyin muttered softly.

"Indeed," Magus chimed in. During the beginning of his journey, Wei Wuyin and Magus as his Second Mind had devised a complete timeline of events and potential favorable outcomes, gathering forces and establishing external bases across the Dark Void. The development of vassals was an extension of establishing Void Altars. Even now, they acted as mediums by which the Neo-Dawn Empire could actively trade and interact with other galactic societies.

While there were no overt exporting campaigns, the Void Altars served as an important importing Void Gates for legacies and cultivation materials, sending them back to Xie Yifei to handle and manage via his subordinates cultivated within each galaxy. She was, as always, an active part of the Neo-Dawn Empire's development, developing the Neo- Dawn Empire's forces in the Endless Void Mirror.

Not only were they designed to act as pathways for the Neo-Dawn Empire to grow, but also for him to maintain communication. Even his Void Rings had a distance limit. He had to use Void Altars across galaxies to connect and expand communication networks. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to communicate with the Neo-Dawn Empire so far out.

What's important to note is that this was 'at that time,' and with his current cultivation and strength, it wouldn't be very difficult to communicate from the Utmost Purity Galaxy to the Neo-Dawn Empire with new Void Rings.

He received reports from Xue Yifei and others regularly. Xue Yifei had originally only sent formalized messages regarding the empire and its state, but over time, she began to loosen up, sending messages on par with idle communication. Just a few days ago, she sent over a message about a new delicacy that she had tried from a new bakery that had opened up recently, and she was vividly describing how she loved the taste and texture, easily becoming her new favorite.

Xue Yifei would even sneakily imply that she was missing him, waiting for him to return to show him all sorts of new things, even an embarrassing scantily clad warrior outfit that she found utterly ridiculous which was gifted to her by one of the ancient clans that still held some ancient traditions.

That aside, Wei Wuyin's Void Altars was a means that was perfectly established. However, when he first left to wage galactic war, which was obviously a grander goal than a series of objectives, he hadn't expected all these drastic changes to himself or his cultivation.

The most important was his current strength. He could never have predicted that the Second Stage of the Mystic Ascendant Realm was enough to stand among the upper- echelon of a greater galaxy, true Resonant Soul Realm experts, nor could he have expected to become a Heavenly Saint Alchemist!

The Alchemic Stars of Unparalleled Creation!

The acquisition of the status as a Virtue of Dao for the Mortal Dao!

A fifth Spirit of Cultivation!

Major Authorities of Heavenly Law!

Void Soul Intent!

These things were far beyond his expectations, originally he had intended to leverage his excessively fast concoction speed to gather strength and allies through networking and bribery to stand on equal footing. External strength! Now, that external strength was his own personal strength!

In such a short period of time, he had undergone a dramatic unbelievable evolution, yet he hadn't neglected his original goals either. While Kang Min-ji was an unreliable unit, Hong Xuannu, Chu Xing, and Superior Yujin, including if Athena could effectively turn those slain Supreme Sages into spoils of War, something far beyond the Nexus War Flag's abilities, his goal of acquiring external strength hadn't changed.

Not only had he acquired actual warriors for that planned war, but Pakhet was an extraordinary gain as an Alchemic Knight. She had, as a True Sage, acquired the Major Authority of Metal Law, exceeding many existing Microheaven Envoys. And she was attached to seven other cultivators that grew as she did, three of whom had attained Minor Authority, a requirement for a Superior Sage.

The status as a Heavenly Saint Alchemist of the Utmost Purity Galaxy was unexpected as well. Now, many of the difficulties he had predicted would be resolved before they even met him.

"Given your current situation, and how much noise you've created, you're no longer an obscure figure. I think...the Blessed Yri Empire might not be so against your actions," Magus concluded with a sigh. The woman of Shang was supposed to be the spark that ignited the upcoming war, but with Wei Wuyin's current strength, alchemical ability, and exposed talent, it would be hard-pressed to find any logical individual who would refuse him.

"Yeah..." Wei Wuyin dived into a crater, sliding against the walls. When he landed at the bottom with a boom, "Man plans..." The latter part needn't be said. His outstanding achievements thus far had transformed him from an obscure figure to one of explosive renown and status.

Standing at the center of the crater, Wei Wuyin felt his Mystic Dao blessing pulse, gently illuminating his skin. With a soft exhale, illusory Mystic Runes formed around him, trembling faintly with mystical auras representing the nine Ways of Mysticism. They numbered ten billion.

They began to quiver. Slowly, they began to expand and then split, each into three! The ten billion transformed into thirty billion, overwhelming the sky and earth of this rogue planet!

"As I expected," Wei Wuyin thoughtfully concluded as his illusory Mystic Runes experienced a multiplicative growth, a sign of his increasingly greater power over the Ways of Mysticism. If they were one day imbued with true Awakened Mystic Intent, they would come alive in unimaginable ways.

Unfortunately, he had a critical step of using these mystic runes to refine his Stellar- Paragon Physique into a true Mystic Physique tethered to the Mystic Dao. The proper path.

"After you've awakened your Mystic Intent, will you do that?" Magus asked.

Wei Wuyin unhesitatingly nodded. There was no need to take things slow. Unlike the Mortal Realms, the Mystic Ascendant Realm had no maximized foundation. Well, not for individual realms. Instead, from the moment he ascended, he had a set foundation, with his Soul of Mysticism Phase as the minimum and the True Soul Phase as the maximum limit. While he could increase his innate energies using something like the Resounding Echoes of Celestial Refinement, he could only attain that maximum limit.

Su Yi had abused this technique to acquire great power far beyond his cultivation stage, maximizing his innate energy foundation at the middle-stages of the Mystic Ascendant Realm, allowing him to be at his maximum strength in each subsequent stage. The main difference between stages was the unique cultivation aspects of each phase that provided profound abilities, which relied on comprehension.

That said, there were a few alchemical products that could remedy flaws brought by inferior comprehension.

Wei Wuyin leapt out of the crater. The illusory Mystic Runes acted as aids for flight, bringing him out with gentleness, allowing him to land with ease. The thirty billion illusory Mystic Runes condensed into a Mystic Rune Sphere that was three times larger than before. It merged into Wei Wuyin's body, slowly priming his physique for its future transformation.

"Two more transformations," Wei Wuyin remarked, stretching his limbs once again to rid himself of the lingering stress. "I've been busy lately. I have so many beauties waiting for me. How about I..."

Wei Wuyin's mind flashed with the unreasonably gorgeous images of Shang Wanqing, Xi Ning, Yue Baoyue, Chu Xing, and most importantly, Yue Songli. Even Dongfang Yue and the Maleficent-Chaos Sovereign flashed within his thoughts. A burning desire of lust ignited within his heart. Just as he was about to open a Void Portal back, indulge a little, he felt a familiar feeling.

"No..."

Ohn!

"No...No..." Wei Wuyun's eyes darted to the sky of this rogue planet as a gargantuan Karmic Surge erupted, decorating the Dark Void in a faint golden glimmer. It seemed on the verge of reaching an entirely new limit! And as it touched that threshold, the golden radiance shone so radiantly that his eyes were dyed entirely in a rich golden color, with

only faint blips of silvery light bleeding out from his pupils.

"..." He stood blank-faced, staring at the shimmering brilliance of heavenly fortune manifesting as vague information and sensations echoed within his heart and mind. An intense, worming urge to return to the Utmost Purity Galaxy rose unbidden within his mind and soul, still unable to truly affect him, but trying nevertheless.

A few seconds later, as the golden brilliance faded, Wei Wuyin received an urgent message from Su Mei.

"The Ancient Zenith has arrived!"

Meanwhile, as the mysterious woman that Su Mei had met earlier was blazing a path

toward the Utmost Purity Galaxy to retrieve its fattened food, she stopped as the region

Su Yi was located in was overwhelmed by a golden radiance that was so disgustingly brilliant that she snarled at it.

"NO!!" She screamed with pure anger.

This was something she knew very well. It was a Karmic Sky, a sign of a grand manifestation of heavenly fortune. It was the initial phenomenon by which beings like Temporal Reincarnators would experience prior to their reincarnation. A sign of a Karmic Luck Value being exhausted by over 100,000!

That was hers!

ALL HERS!!!

She punched the void.

A spatial realm that was hiding a Mystic Overlord's descendants from his enemies was obliterated, annihilating billions of lives in less than a second.

Su Yi was recovering on an unfettered comet when a Void Vessel arrived before him. He

was calm, ready to fight another battle of life and death against these greedy enemies,

but what happened next shocked him. A True Sage on board appeared, a stern old man with dark hair.

"The Ancient Zenith extends an invitation to the Utmost Zenith Palace. Should you show the wisdom to accept, there's a chance for you...to become a Supreme Sage!"
