Others Summon, I Forge Beast Armor

Chapter 153: Brienne Trump

  • Next Chapter

Trump Estate, study.

The President was flipping through a book’s pages. He and his Sphinx were reading the book in peace.

The Sphinx was on the table while the President read. The President’s Ancient-grade Sphinx doesn’t look deadly. It was more elegant than fierce. Uninitiated people will think it was a Support Mythic beast.

But that’s because the Sphinx was in the Juvenile Form at the time.

Adult, its body would be as big as a pyramid when it’s time to fight.

The study door was opened, and Brienne Trump barged in.

Arnold looked up and frowned because his sister never came with good news.

Brienne always liked to make demands. Demanding things was her culture.

She’s taking advantage of Arnold’s desire to ensure every surviving woman in the Trump family is safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. Because so far, there were only two women in the family, her and Scarlett, while there were many men.

"Brother, your daughter has run away from the estate. What are you going to do?" Brienne asked.

"No need to be so worried. She must be processing what I told her, so maybe she’s just going away for a while to get some fresh air, settle her nerves, and recover," Arnold replied calmly, then continued reading.

"If I didn’t know better, that might actually sound reasonable," Brienne said. "But that girl isn’t out getting air, and she’s not settling her nerves either. She’s gone to see that little scoundrel, Luke Kingsley."

Arnold sighed. "So what do you want me to do? Send people after a boy, is that it?"

"Obviously," Brienne said. "He’s dragging that girl straight to her death. The two of them are going to venture into a Hell-Tier Origin Realm. You know how vicious an Origin Realm can be. You sit on this, and sooner or later, something terrible happens."

"How do you know all this?" Arnold asked. "My daughter isn’t foolish enough to tell you where she’s going, much less go to that same place "

Brienne said: nothing...

From the looks of it, she must be calculating her words.

After a long time, she said the truth nevertheless.

"I’m working with Roselyn Kingsley. The Duchess," Brienne said. "She took the principal’s position and had the vice principal promoted, so now the academy is in her hands. She knows everything the students do during the trials, including the drone footage. So, I saw it with my eyes. Those two got an invitation to an Origin Realm. That’s the place they’re going to challenge. A Hell-level Origin Realm. They’re going to their deaths."

The President’s ears were dumbfounded by what he just heard, and his sister was standing with confidence after saying it.

Did she not realize what she’d just admitted to?

Roselyn Kingsley meddling in the Academy — that broke the rules.

This wasn’t a small matter.

Meanwhile, Brienne said it so brazenly as if it were nothing at all, or maybe she was thinking her brother won’t do anything.

"I knew you would be weak and incapable of anything," Brienne said, turning around. "Old and feeble. Your Himalayan Sphinx is an Origin Beast. You had the chance, once, to cultivate a Life-Extension Art, and you never did. Now you can’t even keep your own daughter in line, and you still think you can run this family?"

With that, she turned and left, her hips swaying. Simultaneously, the Himalayan Sphinx was unhappy with her.

Leaving the manor, Brienne entered the family shrine.

Inside, many Servants were busy at work.

The shrine was divided into many areas, categorized by spiritual power and importance to the family.

Brienne walked into the Seventh Supreme Division, said to be the highest level of the Shrine where there are Supreme Masters.

Here, the many of her "Masters" were enshrined.

Given her standing as one of the strongest summoners ever, her Masters were, of course, not human.

They were beasts. Spirit beasts.

These Spirit Beasts were not summons. Why? Because they had no physical form. Spirit beasts only exist as souls within the shrine. They were not to be disturbed sporadically, and very few have the right to come here to seek their guidance. Even Scarlett has not reached that level. When she was her age, Brienne had reached that level, so she was a regular visitor.

In the Seventh Supreme Division of the Shrine, there was a whitish-green dragon by the name Qin Long, and it had no tier.

The importance of Spirit Beasts was not measured by rank, so there was no need to know their ranks.

The dragon wasn’t large, only about the length of a room. As Brienne passed by, it flicked its tail.

Beside the dragon were two more Spirit Beasts, both remarkable species. One was orange, and the other one was greyish-white.

In the Seventh Supreme Division, Brienne sat cross-legged on a futon, and her fingers formed a hand seal. Soon, the aura of her beast, the Golden Eldritch Manticore, lingered around her body.

"Any Summoner, to reach where she stands, would need decades," Qin Long said to the Spirit Beasts nearby. "But Junior Sister Brienne, in less than ten years, has stood ahead of everyone. Now, all that’s left is refinement, and more refinement still."

The dragon turned its gaze to the One-Eyed Macaque statue sitting before Brienne, which Brienne was meditating with, and the aura of the Golden Eldritch Manticore around her like a mist.

The dragon appeared delighted with her choice of what to do today.

The One-Eyed Macaque claimed it is the first Beast that taught others techniques like Soul Projection and Soul Compression. Cultivating before the statue that contained the One-Eyed Macaque’s spirit was as good as taking a shortcut; one round of cultivation here, one round of refinement gained.

Grabbing all her momentum at a go, Brienne seized the opportunity, and piece by piece, the aura around her body grew more robust and powerful until she achieved success.
