Chapter 192: 192: Stay Hidden: Possible?

They had prepared a place for them to stay. A grand wooden home for them and their men. But they had made sure it was in another jurisdiction.

At Commander Lynn’s jurisdiction so he could keep a close eye on them. And not so close to Ayra’s jurisdiction.

Since they asked for Ayra, they knew that they might be here for Ayra. So they worked to protect her by secretly spreading the news and making everyone deny Ayra being alive.

Instructions were also sent to Ayra and her little ones to stay indoors in her house for safety.

The whole tribe were working together, doing all to protect Ayra and her little ones from the dangerous Silvermoon tribe who had infiltrated their tribe.

Miya and her husbands sat around in the house they gave them, discussing. They discussed over the earlier discussion with the tribe lords and suspicious improvement around the environment.

"I think something changed and we need to find out as soon as possible," Miya said.

Her dog husband nodded. "True. And we also need to find out about your sister.."

Miya nodded. "I don’t trust those lying wild monsters. So we’ll stay around and see for ourselves.. I believe we’ll find out fast."

The tiger nodded. "Yes. Let’s keep a close eye around."

While they discussed, her husband had reminded her about the healing. They still weren’t fully recovered and suggested that they needed the energy if they wanted to work better.

Miya reluctantly healed them but still not fully. She explained again that she was tired and needed some rest and they should manage the one they got.

They didn’t argue. They were understanding with her so they let her enjoy the bed while they slept on the floor to keep guard and give her comfort.

"So you mean they’re really here...?" Ayra was surprised as the tribe lords informed her of the current situation.

She was in her room. Ally was still sitting in bed with the little ones. The snake beast cubs in their human form playing around with them.

The little dragon Zay was already asleep in bed in his beast form since it was already night.

"Mmm," Lord Ash nodded. "They strangely came around and they are insisting on staying for an indefinite time."

Ayra nodded. "Those unpredictable jerks.. what do they want from us now..."

Lord Zark folded his arms as he said, "It’s clear they’re puzzled by the fact that we’re still alive after what happened. So they’re here to dig more and find out what happened..."

Lord Vale nodded. "True. And they also mentioned you.. so I have a feeling they might suspect that you’re still alive."

Ayra sighed. "Pretty much. And that’s probably why they’re here to find out the whole truth."

"And that’s why you should stay back in. At least while they’re still here, you should stay back in and don’t let them find you. I wouldn’t want them to harm you or our little ones..." Lord Ash said.

Commander Lynn nodded. "Yes. For your safety... We’ll be outside and handle everything else. Keep an eye on them and make sure nothing goes wrong."

Ayra sighed. She was skeptical about the whole idea. "I don’t know how that will be possible though. What if they stay for too long, how can I survive for too long?"

Lord Zark said, "Don’t worry. If they stay past one week, we’ll start making immediate plans to kick them out by all means."

Ayra nodded with a smile. "Okay then.. I’ll try and do that. Stay back and hide from them," she explained.

They all nodded with a smile as they turned to the playing little ones and admired them for a while before retiring for the night.

A bright morning arrived as Miya got up and decided that she wanted to wash up.

They had been there for two days and still hadn’t discovered anything. It was as if nothing suspicious was around.

Her husbands had tried threatening people and asking questions but everyone kept saying the same thing: Ayra was dead and nothing was happening.

They didn’t believe this and continued investigating further.

That morning, Miya had headed down to take a bath at the stream finally. Ever since she arrived, she was skeptical about using their waters because of the fact that the wild tribe was a contaminated zone.

They all believed nothing here was safe and clean. So they never made use of it. Miya made her husbands and the other men, including Kul, the tribe lord’s son, go outside the tribe and get something to eat and drink.

They obeyed her.

Kul was already too weak and tired to run his mouth. He still hadn’t gotten fully healed by Miya who used that to hold them to her obedience.

But as the water was used by the wild men and nothing happened to them, Miya decided to take her bath while using her skills to make it clean for herself.

While Miya went to the stream to take her bath, her husbands followed her behind. And on her arrival, she saw some beastmen taking their baths in the water.

Immediately, she was pissed as her expression changed. "Dirty useless wild monsters! What are you all doing in this water which I want to use?! How dare you?!"

The beastmen stopped and turned to her. "But this is our tribe’s streams which we use to take our bath always..."

"Who asked you for that useless information?! I am here now and as your princess you should know that everything should belong to me!" She snapped.

"I want to take my bath. And the whole water here is already dirty enough. And you all are just here putting your dirty selves into the water?! Disgusting!" She snapped.

The beastmen stared at each other and said, "But... We’re the ones who are clean and you are the one who has been dirty since you came.."

"..." Miya was speechless. She felt embarrassed as she grabbed a whip from her husband and pointed at them.

"Useless wild monsters! How dare you talk back at me! I’ll use this on you and teach you all a lesson!"
