One Piece: Starting with Sharingan, I Joined the Straw Hat Pirates

Chapter 369: Reunion of the Hearts! The Disgusting Kozuki Family

  • Next Chapter

Guided by Wanda, the Straw Hat crew was weaving through the dense and vibrant Whale Forest.

Sunlight filtered through the massive canopy, casting mottled shadows, while the surrounding vegetation was breathtakingly lush.

Just as everyone was curiously examining this wondrous forest built on the back of an elephant, a violent shaking suddenly erupted from the bushes ahead.

"Captain—!!!"

Accompanied by a shrill, off-key wail.

A giant white bear wearing an orange jumpsuit, tears streaming down his face like two wide noodles, sprinted out like a furry little mountain.

He opened his arms wide and tackled Law, who was walking in the middle of the group, in a tight hug.

The person who arrived was none other than the Navigator of the Heart Pirates, Bepo.

Immediately after, Penguin, Shachi, and the rest of the Heart Pirates' crew also rushed out from the forest.

Seeing their long-lost Captain safe and sound.

These pirates, who were somewhat well-known on the Grand Line, were now surrounding Law without a shred of dignity, all of them crying snot and tears.

"Captain! You've finally returned!"

"That was too much! You went to fight an enemy as dangerous as Doflamingo without bringing us along!"

"We've been reading the newspapers every day, so worried we couldn't even eat!"

The crew members complained all at once, wiping their tears all over Law.

Law, who was being crushed by Bepo's desperate hug, could barely breathe.

He habitually reached up to adjust his spotted hat, shouting in his usual disgusted tone:

"Hey! You're too heavy! Let go of me, you idiots!"

The Straw Hat crew stood to the side, watching this heartwarming reunion, exchanging glances and chuckling good-naturedly.

After reuniting, the two pirate crews didn't linger in the forest for too long; led by Wanda, they soon arrived at the heavily guarded internal fortress.

Pushing open the heavy wooden door, they entered a spacious intensive care unit.

Everyone finally saw the supreme leaders of this mysterious Mink Tribe nation—the King of Day, "Duke Inuarashi," and the King of Night, "Master Nekomamushi."

These two kings, who were originally at odds due to some past events—even to the point of fighting whenever they met—were now lying weakly side-by-side on adjacent hospital beds, having collapsed while resisting a common enemy.

Chopper, acting as the doctor, immediately shouldered his medical bag and stepped forward to carefully examine their injuries.

When he lifted the white sheet covering them, the breath of everyone present hitched.

Duke Inuarashi's left leg, from below the knee, had been sawed off by someone with a sharp weapon, the wound gruesome.

And Master Nekomamushi's left arm was also gone, the stump wrapped in bandages.

The majestic, imposing bodies of the two kings were covered in burns and whip marks, large and small, some deep to the bone.

This miserable scene silently testified to the cruelty and inhumanity of the torture inflicted by "Drought" Jack.

Seemingly sensing the movement in the room, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi slowly opened their heavy eyelids.

Through a simple report from the attendant beside the bed.

The two kings learned that it was this group of Straw Hat pirates from overseas who had used incredible means to disperse the deadly poison gas that had filled the entire country.

And had pulled this nation back from the brink of destruction.

Upon learning the truth, the two usually proud Mink Tribe kings did not hesitate at all.

They struggled to drag their maimed and weak bodies, laboriously propping themselves up on the hospital beds.

Then, they solemnly bowed their heads to Luffy and the others, expressing this heavy debt of gratitude for saving their country with all their might.

Duke Inuarashi took a deep breath.

He raised his head, his world-weary eyes filled with determination, looking straight at Luffy as he said:

"Straw Hat-dono."

"Since you are our benefactors who saved us, then we, the Mink Tribe, will absolutely not hide anything from our benefactors."

"Wanda, take them to that secret underground chamber."

Amidst the confused gazes of everyone, Wanda raised a torch and, following a hidden set of underground stairs, led them step by step deep into the fortress.

When a heavy, massive stone door was pushed open by several guards, a sound of suppressed sobbing immediately drifted out from the gloomy secret chamber.

The Straw Hat crew and the Heart Pirates walked into the chamber and were instantly frozen in place.

In the very center of this secret chamber, a big-headed Ninja wearing traditional Wano Country attire and locked in heavy iron chains was sitting there, wailing loudly, completely unharmed.

This person was none other than the Wano Country samurai that the Beasts Pirates' "Drought" Jack had risked using poison gas to desperately hunt for—Mist Ninja Raizo!

Just as everyone was shocked, Duke Inuarashi and Master Nekomamushi, supported by several strong guards, slowly walked down the stairs into the secret chamber.

The two kings who had lost their limbs looked at the unharmed Raizo, their faces carrying a smile of pride that belonged to the supreme honor of the Mink Tribe.

Their tone was exceptionally calm, yet it struck everyone's heart like a thunderclap:

"Raizo-dono is safe."

"Please forgive us, benefactors."

"Even if the country was on the verge of destruction, even if our limbs were ruthlessly severed by the enemy."

"We, the Mink Tribe, would never betray our friends to the enemy!"

Hearing these words, which carried the weight of Mount Tai, Luffy stopped in his tracks; he slowly raised his hand and pressed firmly on his Straw Hat.

The emotional Usopp, Chopper, and the white bear Bepo were already moved to a mess by this heavy friendship.

The three of them hugged each other and wailed, tears gushing out like a fountain.

Even Zoro, who was usually cold and determined, had a rare flash of emotion in his eyes.

He looked at the two disabled kings, deeply shocked by the Mink Tribe's astonishing sense of loyalty that transcended common sense and life and death.

However, among this group of moved pirates, only Tatsuya remained as calm as ever.

He watched this touching scene with cold eyes, silently sighing in his heart:

Even if the whole country faced annihilation, even if the entire city's population was slaughtered by poison gas, they still had to protect a so-called retainer?

As a transmigrator who knew the original plot of this world.

Tatsuya felt an innate sense of annoyance and disdain for the subsequent Wano Country plot, especially the behavior and handling methods of those from the "Kozuki Clan."

That Kozuki Oden, praised by countless people, was simply a so-called "enlightened ruler" with zero sense of responsibility.

As the heir to a nation, for the sake of an ethereal promise.

He actually trusted the enemy's lies and lowered his dignity to perform that five-year "naked dance."

This kind of behavior—abandoning armed resistance and entrusting the fate of the country to the mercy of pirates—was incredibly brain-dead.

Yet in this twisted plot, almost all the big shots—Whitebeard, Pirate King Roger, Red Hair Shanks, and others—spoke highly of this irresponsible man.

The people of Wano Country maintained an incomprehensible, blind worship of him.

Not only did the tiger father not produce a dog son, but it even became worse.

His son, Momonosuke, was not only weak and incompetent, but his personality was extremely lecherous.

As for that Wano Country's number one beauty, Hiyori, who was hyped to the heavens, in Tatsuya's view, she was an extremely hypocritical "white lotus."

She seemed completely immersed in the power and vanity brought by acting as Orochi's subordinate, the "Oiran" Komurasaki.

As someone closest to the enemy's supreme ruler, Orochi, having lurked for so many years, her contribution was a shockingly infuriating zero!

She seemed to have long forgotten the heavy responsibility of the "Kozuki" clan that she carried.

And had truly regarded herself as that high and mighty Oiran "Komurasaki" who enjoyed the worship of the masses.

For the sake of such a pathetic, stupid, and irresponsible clan.

The Mink Tribe of Zou was actually willing to sacrifice the lives of innocent people in the entire city to uphold this so-called "morality."

This made Tatsuya feel a sense of nausea and disgust, in addition to being moved.

Inuarashi and Nekomamushi stepped forward, softly comforting Raizo, who was trapped in self-blame, and introduced him to the benefactors who had saved their country.

Upon learning that it was this group of pirates before him who had dispersed the poison gas and saved this broken nation.

The guilt Raizo felt for implicating the Mink Tribe finally subsided a little.

He unfastened the chains on his body, stood up with a face full of tears but forcing a smile.

To express his gratitude and to satisfy the curiosity of Luffy and the others about "Ninjas."

Raizo demonstrated a few funny yet magical Ninjutsu on the spot, such as the Shadow Clone Technique and Smoke Escape.

This magical performance immediately made Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper's eyes shine with little stars, shouting "Sugoi!"

Driven by these clowns, the heavy and oppressive atmosphere at the scene finally eased completely.

That night.

To celebrate the rebirth of the country and to thank their saviors.

The Mink Tribe lit a huge bonfire that soared into the sky in the open space outside the ruins, holding a grand Thanksgiving banquet with exotic flair.

The Straw Hat crew and the Heart Pirates' crew let down all their defenses with the enthusiastic Mink Tribe.

Everyone gathered around the bonfire, eating fragrant roasted meat and drinking large bowls of crisp, delicious wine.

The joyful music, accompanied by the agile dancing of the Mink Tribe girls, finally swept away the haze and sorrow that had shrouded the island for days.

As the banquet gradually drew to a close, the night grew deeper, and the noisy sounds gradually subsided.

Everyone was a little tipsy, sitting in twos and threes around the warm bonfire to rest, enjoying this rare peace.

At this time, Robin, who had been sitting quietly in the corner, holding a glass of red wine, walked forward with elegant steps.

She looked at Duke Inuarashi and Master Nekomamushi, who were resting with their eyes closed:

"Your Majesties."

"Since you just said that you would have no secrets from us, your benefactors…"

"Then, could you please let me see that 'poneglyph' that has been hidden on this island?"
