Chapter 234: Chapter 234: Usopp, Battle Style!

As he spoke, Aokiji turned around again and looked at Usopp, who was sneaking along and slowly moving forward.

Usopp flinched in fear, then quickly returned to his former pale, terrified state.

Seeing this, Raynor frowned slightly. Had Usopp been pretending the whole time?

Raynor was not the only one confused. Even Aokiji had a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. What on earth was this guy doing?

Aokiji turned back and continued asking,

"Well? Have you thought it over?"

Hearing this, Raynor gritted his teeth and silently said to himself,

"System, retrieve the soul-cutting sword!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a samurai sword that was narrow at the front and wide at the back appeared in Raynor’s hand.

Raynor’s expression turned cold as he looked at Aokiji.

"You may have eaten that fruit for so long that even your heart has frozen over. But I think you still understand what the word ’companion’ means."

As soon as he finished speaking, the flames around them slowly rose. A streak of blazing red-sun fire spread outward from the soul-cutting sword.

Seeing this, Aokiji’s eyes grew serious.

"Looks like you’ve already decided how this story will go. Then let’s add one final, unforgettable stroke to it."

As soon as he finished speaking, Aokiji breathed out a stream of cold air. A sword made of ice instantly appeared in his hand.

Aokiji’s presence surged, and he showed no intention of holding back.

Seeing this, Raynor said nothing more and charged forward. Aokiji remained where he was, watching Raynor like a tiger waiting to pounce.

At that moment, Raynor leaped into the air, and a huge fire dragon shot into the sky.

In an instant, a flaming slash flew toward Aokiji.

However, Aokiji only gave the ice sword in his hand a light swing, instantly cutting the attack apart.

The next second, the soul-cutting sword came crashing down from above with the force of a tiger and a dragon.

The roars of tigers and dragons echoed all around them.

Blazing light surged into the sky and instantly surrounded Aokiji.

At the same time, the freezing air around Aokiji spread in every direction.

The powerful forces collided and spread outward, instantly creating a world divided between raging fire and bitter ice.

Usopp stared in shock.

He dropped to his knees. He had never seen such a fierce battle before.

A moment later, the ice and fire both vanished.

Several large holes had been burned into Aokiji’s clothes.

But Raynor was in an entirely different state. His whole body, along with the soul-cutting sword, had been frozen solid into a statue.

Seeing this, Usopp completely lost hope.

Aokiji turned directly toward him.

Usopp’s legs trembled. He closed his eyes and dared not look at what was happening.

Then Aokiji’s cold voice rang out.

"I’ll give you one chance to save him. Of course, you only get one. If you fail, both of you will die."

Usopp’s heart tightened when he heard this, and he slowly opened his eyes.

By then, Aokiji had already raised one leg. If he waited any longer, Raynor would probably be smashed into a pile of ice shards.

With that thought, Usopp shouted angrily,

"What kind of lousy Marine Admiral are you? We’re not toys for you to play with!"

"You made Captain Usopp angry! Today, I’ll show you just how powerful Captain Usopp really is!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Usopp grabbed his slingshot. He loaded something into it and fired instantly.

"Witness my ultimate secret technique, Stinky Tofu Star!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a piece of stinky tofu smacked into Aokiji’s face.

Aokiji immediately made a disgusted face.

"What kind of disgusting attack is this? Is throwing stinky tofu supposed to be funny?"

As soon as Aokiji finished speaking, several eggs suddenly flew toward him. With a wave of his hand, Aokiji smashed them all over the ground.

The choking smell made Aokiji lower his raised leg.

"Hey, could you please stop throwing rotten eggs everywhere?"

"Forget it. A weak little bug like you probably can’t save him. I’ll just finish him off myself."

Hearing this, a serious look appeared in Usopp’s eyes.

He then closed his eyes and shouted,

"There are ten bamboo skewers stabbing through the gaps under your fingernails!"

"Your toenails are being ripped up!"

Aokiji’s expression clearly grew even colder when he heard this.

He sucked in a sharp breath and said,

"That really hurts, you bastard."

But Usopp was not finished yet.

He quickly pulled out a blackboard and dragged his fingernails forcefully across it.

"Feeling the terror of Captain Usopp now? If you know what’s good for you, run away!"

Seeing this, Aokiji breathed out a stream of cold air, then opened his eyes.

"Forget it. Counting on you to save him was the worst decision I’ve ever made."

Those words pierced Usopp’s sensitive heart like a cold arrow.

Usopp gritted his teeth and forced himself to speak.

"Don’t get cocky! I have five thousand pirates under my command. If you don’t want to be chopped into meat patties, get out of here right now!"

While Usopp was speaking, Aokiji suddenly appeared right in front of him.

He drove a fist straight into Usopp’s stomach.

"All right, enough with the jokes. Let me put an end to your pathetic life."

As soon as Aokiji finished speaking, Usopp darted behind him and fired another shot from his slingshot.

Aokiji immediately began coughing violently.

Seeing this, Usopp laughed proudly.

"How was that? You know how powerful I am now, right? Try my Pepper Powder Star!"

Before Usopp could finish speaking, Aokiji kicked him away.

Usopp spat out a mouthful of blood and landed beside Raynor.

Seeing this, Aokiji’s expression turned cold.

"That’s enough of your little tricks. You don’t have a chance anymore."

Hearing this, Usopp let out a cold laugh and looked up at Aokiji.

Then Usopp pulled the Rabbit Talisman he had picked up earlier from his pocket.

Aokiji froze for a moment when he saw it.

Seeing Aokiji’s reaction, Usopp burst into loud laughter.

"Don’t say another word. Now it’s time for me to launch my counterattack!"

As he spoke, Usopp copied Raynor and began taking deep breaths.

Then he breathed out, but all that came out was a spray of saliva.

Aokiji tilted his head, and a huge question mark seemed to appear above him.

Usopp awkwardly scratched his head, then tried again, spitting out two more sprays of saliva.

It still did not work. A look of terror appeared in his eyes.

He slowly moved closer and closer to Raynor, then threw his arms around Raynor’s ice statue in fright.

Seeing this, Aokiji seemed to lose patience. Another ice sword formed in his hand.

But at that moment, Usopp gave him a sly smile and said,

"You fool, you fell for it! I’ve been with Raynor for so long. Did you really think I hadn’t been paying attention?"

"The thing that could breathe fire before had a picture of a red fire dragon on it. This time, it’s a green rabbit."

"It’s obvious what a rabbit can do."
