The group of ships of the ex-marines who had left the navy finally arrived in Luffy’s territory, after passing some islands, circling around them. They were encountering fish-men and mermaids swimming all over the territory as they sailed.

Luffy had gotten in touch with Garp and the others as soon as the news of them leaving the navy became public, determined to make them a proposal, he asked them to come to his territory to negotiate.

Finally, the kingdom Luffy had asked them to go to was in sight, Dressrosa, with Garp’s ship and more than a dozen others approaching the port.

At this moment, Dressrosa was already rebuilt from the battle it had against the World Government more than a month and a half ago.

“Are you sure we should stop here? It’s the territory of the most powerful pirate in the world.”

As the main ship, along with the others, began to dock at the port, one of the marines murmured fearfully.

“Don’t be foolish! Luffy is my grandson. If he tries anything, or misbehaves, I’ll beat him up with my fists of love! Buahahahahaha!”

Garp declared and began to laugh, while the marines behind him still looked quite cautious.

“Luffy really wants to talk to us, Garp-sensei?”

Coby approached him cautiously.

“Yeah, it seems so. Let’s see what my grandson wants with us.”

Garp said.

Even Helmeppo looked a bit cautious beside Coby.

“Grandpa!”

Suddenly, someone came running from above, and Garp looked up, a small smile forming as he saw Lucy coming toward the port from the sky.

“Now if you’ll excuse me… I’ll go say hi to my granddaughter!”

he said, disappearing the next moment.

Lucy fell to the ground and was about to get up, but Garp appeared in front of her and punched her squarely on the forehead, making her fall to the ground and scream:

“OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH!”

She squirmed in pain as a bump appeared on her forehead.

“Why did you do that, Grandpa?”

she shouted.

“Because you’re causing too much trouble. It’s my duty to educate you with the fists of love!”

he said.

“Whatever, Grandpa! You can’t just go around punching people without warning!”

she grumbled.

“Anyway, where’s your brother?”

he asked.

“He asked me to receive you all. He said he was going to meet someone else who was arriving in the territory and asked me to greet you.”

she said.

“That brat… Whatever then.”

he murmured, as the marines began to disembark from the ship, looking cautiously around.

There were some Dressrosa kingdom guards and even pirates under the Dawn Pirates’ flag staring at them around the place, but no one stopped them from leaving the ships.

“Since we’re here, I hope to see my future marines and my great-grandchildren! Tell me, where are they? Where are my great-grandchildren?”

Garp immediately said to Lucy.

“Alright, I’ll show you. I don’t see any problem with that.”

Lucy said, as the marines continued to disembark, and Garp followed Lucy, telling them to wait at the port for now.

“Vice-Admiral Smoker, are you sure we’re making the right decision here?”

Tashigi couldn’t help but murmur as she disembarked from one of the ships.

Smoker seemed a little lost.

“We have no choice. We all left the Navy, so let’s see what Garp is going to discuss with his grandson.”

he said.

“Besides, don’t call me Vice-Admiral. We’re no longer members of the Navy.”

he told Tashigi.

At the same time, on another island within the vast territory, Luffy was waiting with his arms crossed as the ship with the flag approached. At his side, Sabo landed at that moment.

They stood there in silence for a few minutes, until the first figures began to descend from the ship, starting with the serious-faced man with a tattoo on half of his face, none other than Monkey D. Dragon, Luffy’s father and the leader of the revolutionaries, while a group followed closely behind.

Meanwhile, someone ran out from this group and rushed toward Sabo.

“Sabo!” she shouted, and it was none other than Koala, who ran up to him, worried.

Sabo looked a little surprised as she hugged him and began to cry.

“I thought you had died when your call was cut off, at the same time we heard the news about Lulusia!” she exclaimed with a tearful tone.

They continued hugging, understanding each other the instant Sabo reestablished the connection with the Revolutionary Army after Luffy hid Lulusia.

Luffy ignored the emotional reunion between Sabo and Koala and focused on the man who had been staring at him the entire time until he stopped in front of him.

The group fell silent.

They had no other witnesses besides themselves on that island, which was inhabited only by animals. After all, Luffy wanted to keep the arrival of the Revolutionary Army to his lands a secret.

Luffy and Dragon stared at each other for several seconds without saying anything, while even those around them could feel the tension between them.

It was Dragon who broke the silence.

“Luffy.”

Dragon spoke.

“Father…”

Luffy also replied in a neutral tone.

“You’re quite busy from what I can see, son…”

Dragon said, also with a serious tone.

“As you can see… Turning the world upside down is what I like to do.”

Luffy spoke, opening a smile but still keeping his eyes serious.

“Anyway, it’s good to see you, son.”

Dragon said, while Luffy nodded, closing the smile he had before and returning to being completely serious.

It was strange here for Luffy.

Dragon had never played the role of a father, and even Luffy could respect the reason why he did it, putting his life’s goal of destroying the government above everything, even his family.

But he also couldn’t simply see him as a father after everything that happened.

Still, Luffy respected him.

“You brought her. That’s good.”

Luffy said, looking at one of the people in the group.

“Why am I of so much interest to the most powerful pirate in the world and the son of the boss?”

the woman raised an eyebrow, questioning why Luffy had such an interest in her that he even demanded she come with them to the meeting.

“Because your power, your fruit, is what will guarantee our victory against the World Government in the final war.”

Luffy said simply, while Dragon and the others raised their eyebrows.

“My fruit?”

she murmured.

This woman was none other than Belo Betty, one of the main leaders of a branch of the Revolutionary Army.

She possessed a special fruit that allowed her to extract the hidden power from people and boost morale.

Luffy believed that this was one of the most powerful fruits that could exist in a war.

It didn’t matter how destructive other fruits were, this one could transform an entire army into a force never seen before, extracting all the abilities and hidden powers that people normally could not manifest.

Of course, this fruit couldn’t affect thousands of people, maybe only hundreds.

That’s why even Belo Betty looked confused at Luffy.

“If you want to extract the power from a hundred people, that’s me.

But I don’t believe it would help you much,”

she said, after all, this fruit was very good for liberating a kingdom, but wouldn’t be very feasible in a war involving the entire world.

“Yes, you’re right. However, I have my fruit that can support the power of other fruits, increasing it several times.

Your ‘hundred’ can become hundreds of thousands or even more.”

he replied, making even Dragon frown, fully understanding what Luffy meant by that.

Belo Betty murmured, also impressed.

There are faces I’ve never seen in my life here, it’s a pleasure to meet you, but some I certainly recognize.

How long are you going to stay hidden, Ivankov?”

Luffy said, at the same time something emerged from the ship that had been among the other revolutionary soldiers.

He leaped into the air and quickly landed, spinning before stopping in a pose.

“Long time no see, Luffy-chan!”

he said, winking and not having changed at all since the last time Luffy saw him at the end of the Marineford war.

“It has been some time indeed, Ivankov. I hope you’re doing well.”

Luffy replied, smiling.

“I’m great! And watching everything you’re doing in the world. Impressive! And where’s your sister?”

he asked.

“She went to meet Grandpa.

Anyway, let’s first have a family meeting. What do you think?”

Luffy turned to Dragon.

“Alright.”

he replied in a neutral tone.

“Then follow me.”

Luffy responded, taking a few steps to the side.

But before jumping, he told Sabo:

“Take them to Wano. Meanwhile, I will handle this family matter.”

he said before leaping into the sky using a geppou.

Dragon observed and quickly began generating winds under his feet before shooting into the sky as well, using geppou and his Devil Fruit powers.

Luffy watched Dragon and asked:

“I’ve always wondered… what fruit do you use? It’s the Storm Fruit, isn’t it?”

Clearly, everything pointed to his father having that fruit.

“Maybe.”

Dragon replied without saying anything directly, but keeping a serious look as always, before shooting into the sky and gaining momentum.

“That damn Luffy!? Now that I’m with my great-grandchildren, I don’t want anything ruining this moment.”

Garp grumbled after Lucy hung up the Den Den Mushi, informing that Luffy wanted to meet him in Skypiea.

With no choice, Garp left Luffy and Hancock’s two older daughters, who seemed to be having fun with him, while he shot into the sky with Lucy as well, both using geppou and advancing over the floating islands until they reached the sea of white clouds.

At that moment, the meeting of the Monkey D. family would finally begin, with Luffy leading them to the golden castle created by the people of Skypiea during the Marineford war.

It didn’t take long for them to finally meet in a room where the atmosphere didn’t seem healthy at all.

Lucy was eating cookies, watching all three sitting in separate corners.

To her left was Garp, who had a narrow gaze.

To the left of Garp and in front of Lucy was her father, Dragon, looking with a neutral expression, without making any faces.

While to the left of Dragon, and to the right of Lucy, was Luffy, showing a small smile.

“Well, it seems this is the first time we’re meeting without trying to beat each other up, like what happened in Loguetown Square and during the Marineford war.”

Luffy said.

“Damn it… seeing them like this… we’re full of criminals in the family.”

Garp muttered.

“…”

Dragon stayed silent.

“Ench Ench Ench…”

Lucy munched on the cookies, making the sound of cookies crunching with her teeth, looking at them a little lost but with a goofy face, before stopping eating.

“Grandpa, Dad, Brother, I’m so happy to see you all doing well!”

she exclaimed, making everyone frown.

One was the marine who had just left the Navy due to his dissatisfaction with the government.

The other was the most wanted man in the world, leader of the Revolutionary Army that wanted to overthrow the government.

And the third was the most powerful pirate in the world, who also wanted to overthrow the government.
