A month had passed since the Lulusia incident. And, unlike what the World Government wanted — to claim that Lulusia was a kingdom that never existed in the world, simply erasing it — the underground newspapers, which Luffy somehow managed to distribute throughout the New World, quickly raised the question:

[“Where is the Kingdom of Lulusia, after all?”]

No matter what the government did, they couldn’t simply erase the existence of a kingdom out of nowhere. Quickly, people began to question it.

There were records, there were people who had passed through the kingdom, maps that pointed to the lost kingdom. There was no way to hide it, and that certainly put the government in a slightly bad spot regarding its reputation.

But things hadn’t ended there.

While the government was in a panic trying to shut down all the information being spread — worsening its situation even more with people actually seeing that something was wrong while it denied the kingdom’s existence — the underground newspapers kept showing up at people’s doors every day to remind them about Lulusia.

No one knew how Luffy and his crew were doing it, but they simply appeared every day.

Luffy secretly had someone with a specific fruit for that, but never revealed who it was or what the power was, since what was happening now was even more dangerous than Bepo’s fuwa fuwa no mi powers, as the World Government’s reputation started to be questioned.

The pressure made the government take rather radical measures.

They began looking for culprits everywhere, arresting people from all kingdoms, searching for any suspect. Even those who had nothing to do with the controversies — anything that suggested people were handing newspapers to each other or even publicly discussing what was in them — quickly became targets of the Cipher Pol agents, spread all over, no matter the division.

That created a kind of consequence that even Luffy couldn’t control — the censorship — with people being arrested even when innocent.

But that also fueled the rebellion that was beginning to grow around the world against the World Government.

Even Morgans had to publish some retraction about the kingdom that had disappeared, infuriating the government. But there was no way he could escape it, and people beyond the New World began to look at the news with concern.

In its desperation, the World Government placed the blame on its main suspect: Monkey D. Luffy.

They said he used the power of his Akuma no Mi or one of his companions’ to blow up the entire island, which was funny to him.

But he didn’t care much — after all, he had enough proof. His ship had recorded everything.

But he wouldn’t reveal it just yet.

‘I’ll let the world stay afraid for now, before finally showing the truth, shocking people even more in that moment.’

Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Lulusia ended up adapting to its new location — living in the sky.

The king and the princess remained imprisoned, and a new king had been crowned in Lulusia, while Luffy was aiding the kingdom, along with other territories, in improving the local economy by sending resources periodically, week by week.

Some people had lost their economic activities due to the absence of the sea for traveling or fishing.

The climate had also changed a bit, and much of the vegetation couldn’t handle the altitude and died.

Unfortunately, that was necessary to hide the kingdom for the time being.

But soon, Luffy and his people would be helping the kingdom full-time.

Little by little, the people of the kingdom began to truly understand what had happened, and most of them certainly turned gratefully to Luffy for his actions.

Anyway, the world was still in chaos, and it wasn’t just Lulusia causing it. The newspapers were criticizing the Government, while no one could deny the actions it had committed.

A wave of resignations in the Marines began, and the entire world was shocked when Garp, the hero of the Marines, resigned along with his protégés. Many other marines also abandoned the organization, as they no longer wanted to be tied to the World Government due to its actions and what they had witnessed in Mary Geoise, where thousands of slaves were kept working for the Tenryuubito.

Luffy could see the desperation consuming the World Government. They were creating stronger weapons than ever in this era, but at the same time, they were losing credibility around the world, weakening their foundations.

Even the kings allied with the organization seemed somewhat uncertain. However, they were still manipulated by the threats the World Government could impose.

The world was about to enter a great war, and everyone was beginning to feel it.

Ace’s execution, with the intention of eliminating Whitebeard — which failed miserably — was the beginning of it all. Now, things were heading toward a massive storm from which no one could escape.

The activities of the revolutionaries began to gain even more notoriety in recent weeks. They were on the move, and this worried the Government, which started deploying even more agents and even the Holy Knights across the world.

The Tenryuubito themselves couldn’t even leave Mary Geoise during this period they were going through, which also enraged them immediately.

Luffy’s territories still frequently appeared in the newspapers, with several photos taken from different angles, far from the islands. But it was an immense territory, larger than any other on the planet — at a continental level.

They attracted attention, and clearly, the Government tried everything to infiltrate Luffy’s lands.

But he had good users of Observation Haki to prevent any government agents or sea pirates from sneaking in.

They continued blocking all intruders as Luffy had ordered.

During this month, Luffy also began training all internal forces, increasing the strength of those who needed power the most, using the islands around his territory and further boosting learning power with his Moa Moa no Mi.

The Charlotte family, the Whitebeard Pirates — who refused to change the name and kept it —, the Beasts Pirates, all were assigned to the fleet as one crew, becoming part of those who followed the Pirates of the Dawn.

Even Kid was part of the training. Despite having no ties to the Straw Hat, Luffy still accepted him.

Kid had destroyed his own pride to train and also get stronger, but he saw no other chance to try and reach the strength of Luffy and the other pirates.

Luffy could see the potential.

‘He could become an emperor of the sea too.’

And he would be much more useful in the final battle if he were strong enough to reach the level of an emperor against the World Government.

Anyway, they trained through an intense month, nonstop — turning one month into twenty thanks to Luffy’s fruit.

It was enough to gain even more strength in a way they had never trained before.

Katakuri was already increasing his power to master the layer of Conqueror’s Haki, same with Kid.

Ace was still improving his hakis, but was getting really good, aiming for the highest level in all types, alongside Sabo who was also training.

But Ace had finally begun to stand out, becoming the strongest among the Whitebeard Pirates’ members, now surpassing all the other captains.

There was no doubt he would take over the crew. He would become an emperor.

Besides the training Luffy was personally giving to the allied forces, his family kept growing more and more.

In addition to his wives who got pregnant after the war — Shirahoshi and Lami — Luffy also ended up getting Nojiko, Princess Hiyori, Reiju, Monet, and Domino pregnant.

Mikita had also given birth to a baby, whom Luffy named Valen, his fourth son, who resembled his mother — blond, blue-eyed — but had Luffy’s entire facial structure.

Anyway, while Luffy handled the training, he waited for his family to grow even more. Now, he could keep them in a safe place, because not even the Mother Flame could be a threat to them within his territory, so he didn’t mind that his partners were getting pregnant.

At that moment, he was in a room with a group of people, looking at a large screen using a den den mushi, which was showing the scenes that had taken place in Lulusia, revealing the true face of the World Government, exposing everything in front of everyone.

There wasn’t a single pirate there, only people who still worked for or had once worked for the government, and in front of them were Fujitora, X Drake, and Zephyr, along with the latter’s Neo-Marines, all watching the scene, shocked.

“As you can see, the World Government doesn’t care about the Marine’s justice. They launched an attack that destroyed an entire kingdom just to run a test. Tell me, is that the justice you’re after?” he said, falling silent right after.

“Tell me… did they really do that?” Fujitora asked. He couldn’t see what was happening on the screen due to being blind, so he had to ask.

“Yes, it’s true. The World Government has a weapon like that…” X Drake muttered, lost — this wasn’t the kind of justice he sought when he became a spy pirate for the Marines by joining Kaido’s crew.

“You don’t have much room to talk. After all, your plan would’ve wiped out several kingdoms or even the whole world,” Luffy said directly to Zephyr this time, who remained silent.

That guy had been giving Luffy quite a headache lately, since he had accepted a fight against Weevil and lost miserably, almost being killed — if it weren’t for Luffy, who had to imprison Weevil again to calm him down for the past month.

Even so, Zephyr still wanted revenge, and Luffy had even had to beat him up a few times, reminding him that he had accepted his offer.

“You really were going to do something awful, Zephyr. But you can still redeem yourself. That’s why I want to create a force that goes against the government but can fight with justice — the same way the Marines once did… not the institution as it is now, because the ones controlling it aren’t acting friendly anymore.”

“Anyway, there’s nothing else to talk about. I’ll leave and let you think for a bit. You’re free to do whatever you want, as long as you don’t cause trouble. Either you join this project, or you’re dismissed,” Luffy said in closing.

He was already fed up with it and would let them make their decision.

He left the room and flew over the islands, looking out at the distant sea before cracking a smile.

“I may not get those marines in the next few days… but I definitely got you, gramps,” Luffy said, knowing that Garp was coming to his territory on a ship, along with many marines.

There were at least twenty ships, since Luffy had invited them.

Elsewhere in the ocean, another ship was approaching discreetly, and Luffy knew it was his father.

The meeting of his complete family was about to begin.
