"Captain, are we really leaving Enies Lobby just like that?"

Standing at the edge of the island, Hina looked curiously at Arton.

She glanced back at the Tower of Justice in the distance, feeling a myriad of emotions.

Not long ago, she had been a prisoner confined within that very place.

Yet in such a short time, she had regained her freedom.

For a moment, Hina still felt somewhat dazed.

Then she remembered the taste of Arton she had sampled earlier, and a satisfied smile returned to her face.

Since she had been able to taste him, everything that had just happened must have been real.

Had it merely been a dream, how could her tongue—and her body—have experienced such sensations?

It was only logical that people could not feel pain while dreaming.

What Hina did not know was that with even the slightest use of Uta's Devil Fruit ability, Uta could construct the most realistic dream imaginable for her.

Within that dream, every sensation would be no different from reality.

Because it was a dream, people might even see and experience things that were ordinarily impossible.

"What? Do you still want to stay here?"

Arton wrapped an arm around Hina's shoulders and smiled.

"Of course not." Hina shook her head. "Hina simply thought you might want to cause some destruction here."

Logically speaking, Arton should despise the World Government.

After all, the Celestial Dragons were nobles supported by the World Government, and Arton had offended them before.

"I would like to cause some destruction, but doing so would be meaningless."

"It might expose our position and affect my upcoming voyage plans."

Arton shook his head.

Given the opportunity, he would have loved to flatten Enies Lobby and thoroughly disgust the World Government.

However, that was as far as it went.

There were no Celestial Dragons here, so no matter how much damage Arton caused to Enies Lobby, none of them would die.

Nor would causing excessive destruction here truly upset them.

After all, those bastards were pigs who only knew how to indulge themselves.

They would not care what happened to Enies Lobby.

...

At most, only people like the Five Elders would concern themselves with it.

Even then, their rational minds probably would not be particularly enraged.

Given the choice, Arton would prefer a more direct way of taking revenge against the World Government, such as killing several more Celestial Dragons.

"We're heading to Water 7 next. It's too close to Enies Lobby."

...

"If I destroy this place now, the Marines and the World Government will investigate Water 7 as well."

"That isn't something I want to see, Hina."

"I see. Sorry, Hina was thinking too simply."

Hina patted her head in frustration.

How had she failed to understand something so obvious? Had being imprisoned for so long slowed down her mind?

"There's no need to apologize over something like this."

"Hina, you can certainly do something to Enies Lobby if you wish."

"Just don't go too far."

Arton said.

Arton believed Hina had asked whether she could attack Enies Lobby because she wanted to do so herself.

After thinking about it, he could understand.

Hina had been imprisoned on Enies Lobby for such a long time. It was perfectly normal for a proud woman like her to feel angry.

"Forget it."

Hina shook her head.

"Although Hina did have such thoughts, actually doing it might interfere with your upcoming voyage, Captain."

"Hina doesn't want something like that to happen because of her."

If an accident occurred immediately after she joined Arton's Flameblade Pirates, Hina would blame herself deeply.

She was also worried that causing trouble might slow her progress in integrating with the crew.

Since she had already decided to join Arton's Flameblade Pirates—and even become his personal outlet—Hina naturally wanted to get along well with Nami, Nojiko, Carina, and the others who had joined him long ago.

They had been members of Arton's crew for such a long time that Hina suspected they had already developed extremely intimate relationships with him, perhaps even more passionate ones than what she had just experienced with Arton.

Since that was the case, as the newcomer, Hina needed to act cautiously and build a good relationship with them.

Otherwise, when she wanted to properly thank Arton with her body later, how would she ever find time to borrow him from Nami and the others?

That was not what Hina wanted.

After sampling Arton earlier, Hina had become extremely curious about—and eager to experience—the taste of taking things further with him.

She would be terribly disappointed if she never received the opportunity to savor him in every possible way.

"Captain, let's leave."

"Although we can't destroy Enies Lobby, Hina will be satisfied as long as she can personally kill Spandam in the end."

Hina looked at the unconscious Spandam in Arton's hand, a hatred she could barely conceal flashing through her eyes.

It was difficult to imagine the usually calm and aloof Hina ever revealing such an expression.

However, after thinking about what Spandam had said to her earlier, Arton understood.

Anyone who heard such words would feel awful.

Anyone would want to kill Spandam.

Even Arton wanted to teach him a proper lesson.

Hina was one of his people now, yet Spandam had dared to speak outrageously about her. Naturally, Arton wanted to punish him.

"All right. Since you've said so, we really should leave Enies Lobby."

"Before we go, however, we need to deal with a few bugs following us."

Arton said.

"Bugs?"

Hina furrowed her attractive brows.

She looked around but could not see anyone nearby.

This was the outermost edge of Enies Lobby, and there were not even any guards posted here.

After all, there was no road leading away from this place. Only someone with the ability to fly, like Arton, could freely come and go.

"I see. There really are bugs following us."

Ain opened her eyes, a red gleam flashing through them as she spoke.
