Chapter 1007: Chapter 1007: The Wrath of Charlotte Linlin

"Genie!"

With a roaring cry, the genie’s body dissolved into a plume of pale blue smoke with a sharp pop, letting the massive pillar of white thread pass harmlessly through its vaporous form.

"We’re saved! Thank you, Doflamingo-sama!"

"Haha! Drop dead, you monster!"

"He transmuted the solid oak mast into pure thread... Is this the legendary ’Awakening’ of a Devil Fruit?!"

"As expected of Joker! He truly is a Warlord of the Sea whose name commands as much respect as our Captain!"

Cheers erupted from the pirates aboard the warship. They gazed up at Doflamingo with expressions of deep awe and reverence; just moments ago, they had braced themselves to watch their vessel be cleaved in two, never imagining they would be delivered from such a fate.

However, the pale blue smoke remained hovering directly over the warship, swirling like a dense fog without the slightest sign of dispersing.

"A body composed entirely of vapor..." Doflamingo muttered, narrowing his eyes as he looked up. A cruel chuckle escaped his lips. "The Paramecia-type Puff-Puff Fruit... Daifuku really does possess an exceptional ability."

The words had barely left his mouth when the roiling canopy of blue smoke surged violently. It coalesced once more into the towering form of the genie, which swung its massive halberd in a devastating horizontal arc.

Slash!

A blinding flash of cold steel cut through the air. The massive, thrashing pillar of thread was cleanly severed at its midpoint. The upper half reverted instantly into solid oak and canvas, crashing heavily into the sea below and sending a twenty-meter geyser of water erupting into the sky.

Without pausing, the genie plummeted straight toward the deck, raising its halberd to butcher the ship below.

"Genie-uine Rage Hunt!"

"Athlete Thread!"

As the suffocating pressure of the descending blade rushed to meet him, Doflamingo’s face contorted into a savage sneer. He launched himself into the air, his right leg instantly turning pitch-black as it hardened with Armament Haki. Eight near-transparent, razor-sharp strings extended from the tip of his heel as he kicked out, colliding head-on with the genie’s halberd.

Clang!

A deafening metallic screech tore through the sky.

The atmosphere buckled under the impact, sending a visible shockwave rippling outward. A localized tempest of displaced air erupted in all directions, churning the sea into a frenzy and causing the battleship below to roll violently on the waves.

The sheer kinetic backlash forced both Doflamingo and the genie backward simultaneously.

"Pentachromatic Strings!"

While still separated by several meters, Doflamingo flexed his fingers into a claw and swept his hand through the air. Five near-invisible, razor-sharp filaments sliced forward, instantly carving the genie’s body into multiple pieces, though the genie had anticipated the strike, preemptively dispersing into pale blue smoke.

Within the blink of an eye, the scattered fog reformed into the colossal genie, which brought its halberd down yet again.

"An anatomy made of smoke... physical strikes are completely useless against it. I need to take out Daifuku himself," Doflamingo muttered, his brow furrowing slightly. With a flick of his wrist, he deployed dozens of strings, weaving them into a massive protective web in front of him.

"Spider’s Web!"

The halberd slammed into the web with monumental force, but the soft, incredibly resilient fibers absorbed the impact entirely, bleeding away the genie’s momentum.

Seizing the opening, Doflamingo leapt high into the air, stepping onto an invisible highway of Sky Strings. He extended his hands, spinning and interlacing fine filaments at blinding speed. The threads bound together tightly, rapidly constructing a perfect humanoid silhouette that mirrored his own likeness.

"Black Knight!"

Confronted by two identical Doflamingos, the genie paused, its glowing eyes darting between them in sheer bewilderment.

"Am I seeing things?!"

"How can there be two Doflamingos?!"

"It’s Joker’s thread clone!"

The pirates on the surrounding warships stared open-mouthed at the twin figures suspended in mid-air, their eyes nearly popping out of their skulls.

"Go," Doflamingo commanded with a sinister laugh.

The string clone shot forward like an arrow, intercepting the genie. Meanwhile, the real Doflamingo soared even higher, bypassing the genie’s head entirely as he flew toward the main fleet several hundred meters away.

The genie lunged to pursue him, but the string clone intervened instantly, lashing out with five razor-sharp filaments to block its path.

...

Unzan Port.

"Charge!"

"Slaughter those arrogant bastards!"

"Throw the Big Mom Pirates into the sea to feed the fish!"

Countless forces surged from their respective encampments, colliding in a brutal melee. Deafening battle cries echoed across the terrain, punctuated by the rhythmic, thunderous roar of muskets and heavy artillery.

The battlefield was a chaotic melting pot of races: Humans, Fish-Men, Longarms, Longlegs, Snakenecks, and Minks clashed indiscriminately. Automated mechanical weapons whirred to life, towering Dragonians stood tall among the ranks, and living stone and metal sculptures marched alongside Chess Soldiers and Biscuit Soldiers.

With hundreds of thousands of combatants locked in a vicious struggle, the entirety of Unzan Port had transformed into a living hell. Everywhere one looked, high-tier combatants capable of shattering boulders and severing steel were trading blows, their ranks filled with countless notorious bounty heads.

When these master combatants clashed, even a stray shockwave or a missed flying slash was enough to obliterate dozens of ordinary pirates and soldiers nearby.

"Golden Ring brat! Get out here and face me!"

A massive dark cloud drifted across the sky, carrying a colossal figure. A roar of pure, unadulterated fury boomed from above, completely drowning out the noise of the battlefield.

"...Ikoku!"

In the next instant, the sky and earth seemed to submerge into a violent pink hue. A colossal, sweeping shockwave of pink flying slash energy manifested out of thin air, hurtling down toward the Chris Pirates’ main encampment with terrifying velocity.

Right then, a brilliant white light erupted from the heart of the camp. A massive pillar of compressed air, shaped like a gargantuan elephant’s foot, blasted toward the heavens to intercept the oncoming pink shockwave.

"Impact Cannon!"

Rumble—

A blinding, incandescent flash erupted in mid-air, rivaling the sun in its intensity. The terrifying collision released an explosion of raw energy that rippled outward in all directions. A low, concussive boom reverberated through the atmosphere, completely silencing the screams of the entire battlefield.

A split second later, the sheer force of the collision compressed the air into a catastrophic gale, sweeping across the sky and earth alike and kicking up a blinding curtain of dust.

"Ahhh!"

"Help!"

"Captain Aeridar!"

Tents were ripped from their stakes and hurled into the sky, while soldiers and supplies were swept away in the tempest, leaving the grand camp in utter disarray within moments.

Fortunately, the collision had occurred at an altitude of two to three hundred meters. Had it been any lower, the sheer atmospheric backlash of the gale would have pulverized the ground, inflicting devastating casualties upon the Chris Pirates.

"Big Mom! Don’t get cocky!"

Aeridar’s enraged roar shattered the silence as he shot upward from the center of the camp. His ascent was so blindingly fast that it triggered a succession of sonic booms, leaving a trail of ring-shaped vapor clouds in the sky.

Crossing hundreds of meters in a heartbeat, Aeridar’s frame expanded exponentially as he closed in on the thundercloud, Zeus. Right before Charlotte Linlin’s eyes, he transformed into a towering, twelve-meter-tall titan.

At that moment, the volatile embers of Charlotte Linlin’s fury were fully ignited. She unleashed a feral, earsplitting shriek: "You insolent brat..."

"I am going to slaughter you!!"
