Kadi's confusion had just been voiced when Igor burst into laughter, and he laughed very loudly.

"Why are you laughing?" Kadi minded this laughter very much, suspecting Igor was mocking him.

"The exchange items are all a result of the alchemy equation. As long as we find the alchemy equation, everything will be solved smoothly." Igor immediately added, and this explanation made Kadi understand, so he wouldn't bother Igor anymore.

"But it's so dark, where can you find the alchemy equation?" Kadi asked, clearly concerned about Igor's expertise.

Igor, however, didn't mind. Previously on Guru Mountain, Grand Master Guzan had always wanted to take him as a disciple, which showed recognition of Igor's innate talent. Evidently, Igor had great potential to be tapped in alchemy.

Moreover, during the special training period on Guru Mountain, Igor had also studied with Grand Master Guzan for a while. Though not formally a disciple, Grand Master Guzan couldn't help but teach Igor some things, as he didn't want to waste Igor's talent.

Therefore, Igor was not completely ignorant of alchemy; it's just that many times he hadn't thought at this level.

But now things are different. The situation now requires Igor to think carefully about what alchemy is.

The alchemy equation has two ends, and the equal sign is the condition connecting these two ends, which Igor understands. He began to use spirit sensing to feel the composition of this wall; this wall is one end of the equation, finding the condition for this end would reveal what the other end is like.

Inferring the equation from appearances is not simple, but now he can only tackle this tough problem.

The equation's two ends are items empowered by spirit power. Since this wall stands here, the corresponding object must exist in this space like the wall does.

Igor observed it thoroughly from top to bottom and finally discovered something amiss: this wall had no connection to this space.

Could it be that this entire wall's space was exchanged?

With this idea, Igor rewrote the equation, replacing the wall with the space.

Soon, the wall began to creak.

Oh my! Igor's heart jolted, it really was a space exchange!

Igor, following the deduction, cautiously deduced the equation. Without this experience, he couldn't have discovered this; this complex equation was summarized from numerous failures. Establishing this equation directly made a space appear out of nowhere, one place disappeared, and another was revealed.

It was like a miracle; in an instant, the spirit-empowered wall began to shake.

"Kadi, use your flames to lick the edge of this wall," Igor ordered, as he was reconstructing the alchemy equation.

"Alright!" Kadi, who had been holding back for a while, was eager to show off, impatiently awaiting this moment.

Blue flames crept up the wall's edge, and soon the wall glowed blue, similar to the light emitted by the teleportation spell.

"This…" Kadi felt amazed, deeply moved by the wall's change.

"This is just the beginning." Igor smiled and continued writing the equation.

Pop!

With a crisp sound, the wall that originally stood between Igor and Kadi suddenly vanished!

Though it was a pitch-black area, and although they couldn't sense any light in this testing ground, Kadi still felt the space shift brought about the shock.

Soon Igor and Kadi stood in a basement, and in front of them was still darkness, but this time it was more tangible.

Fragments around them kept flowing forward, now through tubes, where fragments and blood were inside.

Though it was dark, Igor and Kadi could still see these things clearly, as their night vision was playing a critical role at this moment.

In front of them, they could clearly see a figure suspended in the air, tubes inserted all over the body, through which this person's blood flowed…

"Senior Xiso!" Igor couldn't help but shout.

Kadi couldn't care about anything else; he brandished his butterfly blades wildly at the tubes, his anger focused on those blades, making the chains suspending Xiso turn into ruins.

Xiso limply fell from the air, and Igor hurriedly went to support him.

"Senior, are you alright?"

"That damn Alchemy Workshop, I'll flatten this place!" Kadi's anger was hard to contain.

"No…" Suddenly, Xiso weakly uttered, exceedingly feeble, nearly unheard.

"Senior, rest for a while, we'll find a way out. Kadi won't be impulsive, rest assured." Igor said.

"The Alchemy Workshop… also being used…" Xiso weakly said.

"Yes, we know, we know." Igor replied, gently persuading Xiso given his weak state.

"And… the cemetery over there…"

"Over there is fine, it's fine. We've secured it!" Igor said, trying to ease Xiso's discomfort.

"Good, that's good…" The weakened Xiso limply collapsed onto Igor's shoulder.

"Kadi, find a way out, don't let emotions guide you, let's get Senior Xiso out of here!"

"Okay!" Kadi gritted his teeth; after the space shift, they needed to find a way out anew, unsure of where the exit was or why they appeared in this basement.

Kadi's twin blades roared in his hands; no one could stop his footsteps at this moment, and blue flames lit upon his body, a sign of anger.

This basement was still within the testing ground; now they needed to find an exit and leave this place.

Igor supported Xiso step by step, following behind Kadi; they had found Xiso, and there was no need for much concern thereafter. Anyone they encountered could be fought against with full force.

If soldiers come, they are blocked; if water flows, it's covered. At this moment, nothing could stop their exit. They had to take Xiso out of here, escape from here!

"Senior, don't worry, we'll get you out of here!" Igor said, his gaze unwaveringly determined.

Whooshing swords danced in Kadi's hands; though there were no enemies ahead, he still brandished his knives…
