Chapter 1337 - 1334: I'm Not Alone

"Disappear!" The Spirit, trapped in madness, roared—an expression of emotional outburst.

Whether it was rage or frenzy before, it was a display of emotional loss of control. This time, the madness was just a degree more intense.

Igor could understand it; this was the effect he wanted. He knew how to stir a person's emotions; when someone's emotions are chaotic, there are many abnormal reactions giving the opponent an opportunity.

Igor understood this principle; he had prepared in advance for the situation at hand. Soon, he'd face a tempest and endure the test of an energy explosion.

Having mentally prepared, everything wouldn't seem so terrifying.

Bang! Flames erupted from the Spirit like a bolt from the sky.

"Let me see, if you can return this energy to me!" Spirit shouted, his anger towards the boy in front of him was at its peak.

"Let me try." Even at this moment, Igor couldn't resist a cheeky remark. He knew deep down that using Time Leap to move this energy was impossible. Time itself is a form of energy flow, and when this energy reached its peak, time couldn't control it. His best choice was to endure it, though he wouldn't foolhardily resist outright, that would be very unwise.

Whizz whizz whizz whizz...

"Let's see how you move it, how you dodge!" Spirit instantly transformed this energy into streams, like serpents, flowing rapidly towards Igor.

This attack is somewhat tricky.

But I can't just sit idly by!

Igor hesitated for a moment, then released his gathered energy, using it to alleviate the serpent-like attack and to cover his plan.

He had to create a defense within this short time, one that allowed him to evade this attack.

An energy wall was useless; Time Leap was ineffective. It seemed only Devouring Power could eliminate these serpents. But Igor wasn't Kadi; he couldn't summon the blue flames.

"All Can Be Cut!"

A voice suddenly sounded, causing Igor to tremble. He immediately widened his eyes and withdrew his Meteor Sword.

The serpent-like energy moved quickly, but his sword-drawing speed wasn't slow.

Bang, streaks of Sword Qi appeared out of thin air, scattering the serpents instantly.

"Hmm?" Spirit was still very surprised by the phenomenon. No one had been able to dissolve his energy attack over the years. The boy actually cut his energy with a sword. It was incredible.

What kind of divine being, what force could this be?

"All Things Return to Origin!" Igor swung his Meteor Sword again, unexpectedly unleashing its power even in the Inner World.

The Sword Qi directly lunged at the Spirit, yet the Spirit didn't flinch. He could dispel the small energy with a single finger.

Igor only saw a monkey open its mouth and swallow the sword energy.

This monkey is truly troublesome.

"You conceited fools, do you think you can stop me? Do you think you have the upper hand? So naive, you underestimate me!" The monkey continued speaking as if the entire space was under his control.

"How many years, I've coexisted with this energy! Young man, how could you have this concept? Across several lifetimes, you're a common man, with one life!"

"You are unworthy of this world, unworthy to live like this."

"You think with your petty tactics you can defeat me?"

"Naive, so naive. Let me show you who truly owns the world's fate!" Spirit raged like a madman, venting his grievances everywhere.

Igor had no interest in these grievances; he realized his earlier strike hadn't significantly impacted the Spirit. His abilities were lacking indeed.

But he hadn't come here for a deathmatch with the Spirit, only to disrupt his entire rhythm.

At least, for now, his goal was reached. What he needed now was to protect himself and wait for good news outside.

"I'll make you all understand who the real master is; now you know what the gap is, right?"

Honestly, Igor didn't agree with these words and was a bit weary of them; the self-proclaimed world champions were the most detestable. Such people always believe others are conceited; truly a joke. Just like now, a monkey doesn't know it's a monkey and finds everything as laughable as the people before it.

"Why do you still have that smile on your face!"

"Hmm? Since you can see me, why can't you see yourself!" Igor still puzzled over what was up with this monkey.

"Foolish human, I have no physical form, how could I see!" Spirit sniffed disdainfully at Igor's words, feeling superior. The display of power returned him to a calm state again, thanks to years of combat experience. Even if he couldn't control his emotions, experience provided a correct path. In a flash, his energy gathered again; this time aimed to strike a heavy blow!

Igor knew the current situation required him to provoke the guy again. But how would he begin? It seemed many methods were already used, to no avail.

"Looks like I'm out of options!" Igor muttered to himself, a self-talk that surprised the Spirit.

"What are you muttering? Regretting?"

"No, I'm just talking to another guy!" Igor said, subtly guiding the Spirit's emotions.

"Another person?" Spirit expressed confusion, simultaneously sensing a formless pressure.

"Exactly, like you, he claims to be invisible but actually isn't!" Igor grinned again, clearly confident.

"Hmm?"

"I was summoned here by him; I imagine he's similar to you." Igor scratched his head, unsure how to introduce this Spirit.

"What?" Spirit grew more puzzled, believing it impossible for him to not perceive it.

"I'm not alone!" Igor declared, gesturing to one side.

A luster appeared beside him, shimmering like lake waters reflecting sunlight...
