Kuyi Tulan walked coldly up to the Alchemy Servant: "Why did you stop talking? I want to hear your opinion."

"Spare me, sir, spare me!" The Alchemy Servant kept kowtowing on the stone-paved ground with a thumping sound.

"Continue talking, and I'll let you stay in this team; otherwise, you may pack up and report to the Menial Work Team." Kuyi Tulan continued coldly. The Menial Work Team was controlled by the Alchemy Workshop, consisting of laborers who were Non-Adventurers. Most were from Non-Adventurer resources, while some were discarded by other professional organizations. This meant that those who could no longer stay in the Adventurers with Class team might be assigned to the Menial Work Team, and once there, they had no chance of becoming Adventurers again.

Now, Non-Adventurers are said to be closing the gap with Adventurers, but if an Adventurer is dismissed and degraded to a Non-Adventurer by the organization, it can only mean that this person is beyond saving and will be abandoned by everyone.

Thus, Kuyi Tulan's punishment can be considered quite severe.

The complaining Alchemy Servant was trembling, not knowing what to do, feeling that speaking or not speaking were both problematic.

"Go on, speak!"

"Yes, the chief is still waiting here."

"Stop dawdling!"

Other Alchemy Servants began urging him on, seemingly very dissatisfied with this fellow.

Kuyi Tulan said nothing, staring at the Alchemy Servant, while another matter was forming in his mind.

All the nagging and pressure made the Alchemy Servant feel very uncomfortable; he felt like he could not breathe...

Before long, the Alchemy Servant collapsed, seemingly from excessive fright.

The sudden incident caused the surrounding Alchemy Servants to all kneel down, repeatedly kowtowing: "Spare us, chief, spare us!"

Kuyi Tulan shook his head; he hadn't done anything. The atmosphere around him caused the servant to faint. He said helplessly, "Let this guy pack up and return home later. The Menial Work Team doesn't need him either."

"Thank you, chief, thank you, chief!" Sending someone home was far better than assigning them to the Menial Work Team. Many servants felt that the chief had shown mercy.

Kuyi Tulan flung his sleeves and entered the hall, which was a reserve site for experiments at the Alchemy Workshop. Besides the Golden Seats and the chief, no one else could enter—not even the elders of the attacking front.

Clearly, this structure called the experimental reserve site housed many of Kuyi Tulan's secrets...

Kuyi Tulan walked deeper; once inside, he dismissed those waiting for him at the entrance. He intended to confront the person imprisoned here alone.

The deeper he went, the darker it became. Kuyi Tulan did not light any torches, turning to walk toward an entrance, which led underground.

Clearly, the secret here was once again in the basement.

Kuyi Tulan walked step by step toward the underground. Before long, the sound of chains clashing came from below, indicating that someone was imprisoned down there.

"You've come!" A deep voice rang out, as if well-informed about Kuyi Tulan's arrival.

"Yes, I'm here," Kuyi Tulan replied flatly.

"Heh, no matter how many times you come, the result is the same. Why bother." That voice sneered, as though mocking Kuyi Tulan.

"If my subordinates had half your willpower, the whole world would be different."

"Do you want to make the world as unbearable as you, Kuyi Tulan?" the voice continued to mock.

"No, I will make the world better. Survival of the fittest is the basic law. I want this law to play out its role."

"Hehehe, hahahaha..." The voice couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"Laugh all you want, but you won't be laughing for much longer," Kuyi Tulan continued.

"Oh, are you going to end me? Go ahead, just stop torturing me already, okay?"

"For defective products, I never have much sentiment; but you all are different. You were the first, my blood, sweat, and tears. I can't bear to simply give up," Kuyi Tulan muttered to himself, ignoring what the voice said.

"Kuyi Tulan, do you know you are a bastard?"

"Whether I'm a bastard doesn't matter. I'm here this time to tell you in advance, a storm is coming."

"Hehehe, you will receive the punishment you deserve, Kuyi Tulan."

"Punishment? I don't care. I'm here to bring change to this world. You don't understand now, but someday you will!" Kuyi Tulan said.

"Did you come here just to tell me this?"

"Of course not, my friend. I came here to tell you that your companions are actively searching for you, but you cannot meet them. Your dry body can't hold on for many more days. If it weren't for me maintaining your body, you would have become my Spirit Core long ago."

"You, what do you really want!" the voice said angrily, already exasperated with Kuyi Tulan.

"I don't want anything, Xiso Glass. Just remember, this body of yours is mine; don't think of destroying it."

The person imprisoned here was indeed Xiso. His dry skin was continuously peeling, and it seemed like he'd soon become a pile of decomposing flesh. But Kuyi Tulan used Alchemy Potions to maintain his body, allowing his nearly vanished life to barely continue in the darkness.

"I really can't understand why you've become like this and still seek death wholeheartedly. Is death really so important to you?" Kuyi Tulan asked incomprehensibly.

"I'm not seeking my death. I'm seeking your end. I wish to exchange my death for your demise."

"I see. What a pity, in front of me, you're just a weakling. Even if your dry skin has any power, it can no longer threaten me!"

"Hmm?" Xiso was also bewildered by this revelation.

"I have completed the transcendental; I possess countless memories, the heights you all aspire to." Kuyi Tulan sneered.

"Oh, hahahahaha." After hearing this, Xiso began to laugh heartily, never expecting things to turn out this way. Had Kuyi Tulan reached this stage already?

"What are you laughing at?" Kuyi Tulan was perplexed by Xiso's laughter.

"So, after all this, you came here just to show off to me. A dog truly can't stop itself from eating shit!"

Kuyi Tulan wasn't infuriated by Xiso's ridicule; in his eyes, these were normal occurrences.

"I'm here to state a fact, not to show off to you. I don't need to show off. After all, in my heart, you are not my enemy," Kuyi Tulan said lightly. He never gets mad over such matters; that's a bad habit of those without magnanimity. For him, it's non-existent.
