Chapter 1253 - 1249: Honey, I Love You

Without a word, Luke Land picked her up from the bed and headed straight for the bathroom.

She leaned weakly into his embrace, letting him take care of her.

The bathtub was already filled with warm water. He set her down and let her steady herself against him, then reached to unzip her dress at the back. The zipper seemed stuck, and after finding no other solution, he gave up and ripped the dress apart with a strong pull.

"Luke Land, you’re so violent..." Eva Miller said weakly, mourning the expensive dress for a minute in her heart.

Cradling her in his arms once more, he gently placed her in the bathtub, then started unbuttoning his own clothes.

In the past, Eva Miller might have yelled and protested, but surprisingly, this time she was calm and composed, without any reaction.

Luke Land also got into the bathtub, and Eva Miller leaned her body against his side...

"I don’t want to move..." There was a hint of pleading in her tone.

He merely curved his lips into a smile, his large hand kneading the softness in front of her chest with perfect strength, whispering with an ambiguous softness in her ear, "If you don’t want to move, then let me do it for you."

In the midst of their entangled affection, taking this bath became incredibly difficult.

After about an hour, he finally carried the utterly exhausted woman back to the master bedroom.

"Little Chili, you aren’t drunk, are you?"

"I haven’t had any alcohol." She didn’t know what came over her; she had been resolute about not calling him ’husband’ in front of him, but now she couldn’t help but say it twice, and she wanted to continue.

"Husband, I love you..."

Luke Land was so overwhelmed by the sheer impact of these words that he was speechless. He couldn’t believe they came from Eva Miller’s mouth.

"Little Chili, say it again."

The little woman before him had teasing eyes, and as she rose slightly, she responded with a kiss instead of words.
