Jiang Jiyuan smiled kindly, "Junior Brother Lin, you're only a 1st tier Transcendent God. Continuing any further will be extremely dangerous."

"Whether it's the Starfire itself or the Starfire Beasts, either one could kill you."

Lin Moyu couldn't tell whether the warning came from genuine concern or hidden motives.

Still, the man had shown courtesy, and he had no desire to make unnecessary enemies.

Jiang Jiyuan chuckled, forcing a smile, "There is indeed Starfire Metal below, but it's guarded by a Starfire Beast."

"Although it's only at the 4th tier Transcendent God realm, it's even stronger than ordinary 4th tier Transcendent Gods. Even my sister and I can only fight it to a standstill."

"Junior Brother Lin, if you are willing to assist us, we may be able to obtain the Starfire Metal."

Jiang Jiyuan smiled, "I possess a formation that requires three people to activate."

"It combines the strength of all three participants, allowing us to unleash an attack comparable to a 5th tier Transcendent God."

"That should be enough to kill the Starfire Beast—or at the very least, severely injure it."

He quickly added, "The Starfire Metal it's guarding weighs at least fifty catties. My sister and I are only here to complete a mission and need just ten catties."

Lin Moyu silently studied him, trying to determine whether he was telling the truth.

Jiang Jiyue wasn't as breathtaking as Gu Qingxuan, nor could she compare with Lin Moyu's wives, but she was still an undeniably beautiful woman.

She had remained silent the entire time.

Now, however, she suddenly spoke, "Why are you hesitating so much? Are you even a man?"

Her voice was sharp and fiery, carrying all the arrogance of a pampered young miss.

"Jiyue, watch your tongue!" Jiang Jiyuan immediately scolded her.

Jiang Jiyue snorted, "Did I say anything wrong? Our Jiang Family's reputation speaks for itself. Why would we stoop to harming him?"

"Look at him. He obviously doesn't trust us."

Lin Moyu murmured, "The Jiang Family?"

He genuinely had never heard of them.

Jiang Jiyue lifted her chin proudly, "The God King Jiang Family of Inhabited Star System No. 100 in the Vermilion Bird Starfield."

"Ask anyone across the surrounding starfield. You'll know exactly what kind of reputation our Jiang Family has."

"Jiyue, enough!" Jiang Jiyuan glared at her before turning back to Lin Moyu and cupping his fist, "Junior Brother Lin, I'm truly sorry. My sister has a quick temper. Please don't take offense."

"If you're unwilling to cooperate, we won't force you."

It wasn't fear that made Lin Moyu hesitate.

With his current defenses, even ordinary 1st tier and 2nd tier True Gods posed little threat.

He had simply been weighing a few possibilities.

Ironically, Jiang Jiyue's outburst put him more at ease.

Jiang Jiyuan was calm and reserved, making it difficult to discern his true intentions.

His sister, however, wore her emotions openly.

Lin Moyu looked slightly surprised, "It can be used for forging weapons?"

Jiang Jiyuan smiled. "Far more than that. Let's deal with the Starfire Beast first. Once it's over, I'll explain everything."

No one who reached the Transcendent God realm could be truly young.

Lin Moyu estimated Jiang Jiyue was at least a century old, yet she behaved like an impulsive teenager.

He felt he had been far more mature and composed at eighteen.

Looking apologetic, Jiang Jiyuan said, "I'm truly sorry. My sister has been spoiled by our family. Ever since she was born, she's done little besides cultivating at home and has had very little contact with the outside world..."

Lin Moyu smiled, indicating he understood.

Jiang Jiyue let out a derisive snort, "What a bumpkin. Don't tell me you've never even seen a formation plate before.”

"Jiyue!" Jiang Jiyuan barked, "If you keep acting like this, I won't bring you with me next time."

His stern tone made her flinch, and she immediately fell silent.

Jiang Jiyuan turned to Lin Moyu once more, "My apologies."

Lin Moyu looked at Jiang Jiyue for a long moment before speaking calmly, "Let this be the last time.”

Though his voice remained even, an unmistakable chill accompanied his words.

He had no intention of killing her, but if she continued provoking him, he wouldn't mind teaching her a lesson.

Jiang Jiyue bristled, ready to retort, but one look from Jiang Jiyuan silenced her.

She could only puff out her cheeks and huff in frustration.
