Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

Chapter 871: The Aftermath Will Slowly Fade With Time

  • Next Chapter

Once, Lin Moyu had come here only to retreat in the face of overwhelming danger.

This time, however, he entered without the slightest hesitation.

As he stepped into the great vortex, powerful soul attacks surged toward him from every direction.

Yet each assault was effortlessly blocked by his soul world, unable to inflict even the slightest damage.

Passing through the vortex without incident, Lin Moyu soon found the God of Souls sleeping at its center.

When the great war had first begun, the God of Souls had fallen from the Transcendent God realm.

Yet amid the war, he had fought his way back to the Great God realm.

A Great God who specialized in soul techniques, his capabilities were nothing short of extraordinary.

Using the same method as before, Lin Moyu awakened him with ease.

The God of Souls slowly opened his eyes and looked at Lin Moyu. A flicker of confusion crossed his face.

"World lord?"

Lin Moyu nodded, "Come. Your companions are waiting outside."

The God of Souls gazed through the vortex, his eyes settling on the more than a dozen of Gods gathered beyond it.

They were his comrades-in-arms—brothers and sisters who had once fought beside him.

After a moment of silence, he turned back to Lin Moyu, "You are truly remarkable."

Proud by nature, the God of Soul offered no false humility, and Lin Moyu had no need for it.

"Thank you." Lin Moyu replied with a smile.

Stepping out of the vortex, Lin Moyu looked at the assembled Gods, "Let's go. We're going home."

Those simple words stirred every God present.

The main world was their home. Exiled from it for countless years, they had become wanderers with nowhere to belong.

Lin Moyu took out the Dragon scale, "Antares, I'll need your help."

This was not the Human World, and transporting so many Gods across was beyond his current abilities.

Antares's deep voice echoed from the Dragon scale, "No problem."

The moment they heard his voice, the Gods became visibly excited.

"Sir!"

"Sir!"

Not one of them addressed Antares by name. To every God present, he was simply "Sir."

The Dragon scale burst into radiant light, opening a spatial channel leading directly to the Human World.

The familiar aura of their homeland flowed through the channel like a welcoming breeze.

Unable to contain their emotions, the Gods stepped into the channel one after another.

After being separated from their homeland for so long, they had finally returned.

Tears filled every pair of eyes.

Lin Moyu did not linger.

Once they were back in the main world, everything became much simpler.

With a wave of his hand, all the Gods were instantly transported to the palace atop the Kunlun Mountain—the resting place of the Kunlun Great God and the God of Holy Melody.

The moment Lin Moyu arrived, the Kunlun Great God sensed his presence and manifested immediately.

What he saw left him momentarily speechless.

Before him stood more than a dozen Gods, all smiling at him.

For a long moment, he simply stared. Then realization set in.

Lin Moyu had revived the Gods, meaning there was hope for both him and his wife.

The once-desolate Dreadland, where not a single blade of grass had grown, had now fully merged with the main world under Lin Moyu’s reshaping.

It had become a vast, thriving land: forests and lakes, towering mountains and flowing rivers.

Scorching regions rich with the fire element coexisted with expansive grasslands swept by the wind element.

This would become the new home of the Gods. Lin Moyu named it the Continent of the Gods.

“Rise.”

At his command, a towering mountain erupted from the earth.

“Lightning.”

Lightning manifested upon the mountain out of thin air. Bolts rained down without end, saturating the surroundings with a dense concentration of lightning element.

Lin Moyu then retrieved the Lightning God’s godhead, god slot, and the remaining Law Crystals.

Gathering them together, he infused strands of world force, enveloped everything in the law of undeath, and placed it all within the mountain.

A fragment of the Lightning God’s will might still remain within the godhead.

If so, then with the law of undeath and world force, there was still a faint possibility of revival.

To give that sliver of hope a chance, Lin Moyu constructed a domain fully saturated with the lightning element.

It was a speculative attempt, but one worth making.

Even as the world lord, he could not fully govern life and death.

Otherwise, Ning Yiyi and the others would never have needed to enter the Coffin of Slumber to seek a future.

He then placed restrictions around the area, ensuring no Gods or other living beings could accidentally intrude.

Using the same method, Lin Moyu created similar sanctuaries for the Poison God and the God of Life.

The God of Life had no godhead, so she could only rely on the Genesis Scepter.

According to her, as long as her Life Core remained intact, resurrection remained possible.

The Life Core had already been fully restored—whether it would truly work remained to be seen.

After completing everything, Lin Moyu completely separated the Continent of the Gods from the Human World, ensuring no future conflict could arise between the two sides.

The great war of the past had finally come to a true close. Its lingering aftermath would slowly fade with time.

At the Chuangshen Institute, a surge of Transcendent God aura erupted from a cultivation dwelling.

Emperor Di had succeeded, becoming the second Transcendent God of the human race after Lin Moyu.

This was excellent news.

Emperor Di had no intention of leaving this world; his presence alone would stabilize everything and prevent future chaos.

The commotion immediately drew the attention of all the powerhouses within the institute.

Word spread quickly, and soon a crowd had gathered outside the cultivation dwelling.

Meng Anwen and the others were among them.

Moments later, Emperor Di emerged in plain robes.

The instant he appeared, a wave of resounding congratulations filled the air.

“Congratulations, Senior Emperor Di, on ascending to the Transcendent God realm!”

“Congratulations, Senior Emperor Di, on ascending to the Transcendent God realm!”

“Congratulations, Senior Emperor Di, on ascending to the Transcendent God realm!”

Emperor Di smiled, clearly in high spirits.

His breakthrough had made him look decades younger.

A half-step Transcendent God typically lived over two hundred years—three hundred at the absolute limit.

But a true Transcendent God began with a lifespan of at least five hundred years.

Already over 150 years old, Emperor Di had no longer been in his prime.

Now, however, he stood fully within it.

Waving off the praise, Emperor Di said cheerfully, “No need for such courtesy. I merely had a bit of luck.”

“Senior, you are far too modest!” A clear voice rang out abruptly.

Lin Moyu had appeared in the courtyard without anyone noticing.

He cupped his fist toward Emperor Di, “Congratulations, Senior, on your breakthrough to the Transcendent God realm.”

Emperor Di quickly returned the gesture, “I owe this breakthrough to you, young friend.”

Lin Moyu smiled, “It is the result of your own hard work, Senior. It has little to do with me.”

Emperor Di shook his head, “That is not so. Besides, the accomplished are the masters. You reached the Transcendent God realm before me, young friend—by etiquette, I should be addressing you as ‘senior.’”

A murmur spread through the crowd.

Only then did they realize Lin Moyu had already stepped into the Transcendent God realm and had done so even before Emperor Di.

Shock flickered across Meng Anwen's and the others’ faces.

They had long expected Lin Moyu to reach the Transcendent God realm, but not so quickly.

As for the rest, they had been shocked speechless.

To break through to the Transcendent God real before the age of thirty—such talent was beyond comprehension.

When someone stood so far ahead that even their shadow could not be seen, jealousy faded, leaving only admiration.

After the congratulations died down, Lin Moyu called Emperor Di, Meng Anwen, Bai Yiyuan, and Yan Kuangsheng together.

“Senior Emperor Di, Teachers, I am leaving.”
