At that moment, the Shinigami appeared behind the root ninja.

Soon, the root ninja took out a kunai and split open his stomach, and the Shinigami followed his action.

Hinata and Naruto couldn’t see the Shinigami. Minato used the Reaper Death Seal to seal the Nine-Tails inside himself, not in Naruto.

He used the Eight Trigrams Seal for that. In other words, Naruto couldn’t see the Death Reaper.

But because of his Otsutsuki bloodline, he could sense its presence.

It was cold.

Hinata moved her head away, but she bit her lip and turned around.

She knew it was a cruel thing, but if she wanted to be with Naruto, if she wanted to walk alongside him, she had to be able to watch this.

As Shinigami’s stomach opened, Minato instantly left the root ninja’s body and appeared far away from that body.

This was the difference between the Orochimaru-masked version and Minato’s modified version.

In Orochimaru’s case, he cut open Shinigami’s stomach first, and then his stomach was cut open.

In Minato’s case, he cut open his stomach first, and the Shinigami’s stomach was cut open.

The Shinigami immediately released five different souls sealed inside it while capturing the soul of the root ninja.

The wounds on its body healed as it pulled in that root ninja inside of it and disappeared.

Minato moved towards its actual soul and touched it. In an instant, both souls merged into one.

Naruto placed Hinata on the ground, stepped forward, and released a scroll.

Three White Zetsu bodies, covered in Sealing Tags, appeared on the spot. He also took another scroll and released a large symbol through the scroll.

He had been preparing this for a while.

[Summoning- Impure Reincarnation Jutsu]

Naruto immediately wove hand signs and released a large wave of symbols which pulled the souls into White Zetsu bodies.

"Ahhhh!"

Those White Zetsu started crying out, but soon, three of them transformed into the First Hokage, the Second Hokage, and someone Hinata recognized- the Third Hokage.

"Na-na-naruto, this...."

Hinata couldn’t help but stutter.

Naruto looked at the remaining soul and opened another scroll, using the sealing Jutsu to seal that soul into the scroll.

"Don’t worry, Hinata! They are not conscious."

Naruto made another hand sign and summoned three coffins, putting three of them inside the coffins. He looked back and explained.

"During Orochimaru’s attack, he used this Jutsu to summon the First and Second Hokage."

"During the Nine-Tails attack, Dad sacrificed his soul to seal half of the Nine-Tails. I had no choice but to release them."

"But I also didn’t let them go to the Pure Land since this Jutsu has already been leaked outside Konoha."

Naruto continued.

"Those white bodies you saw before. They are some kind of creatures that are not human."

"They could not only transform into anyone but also hide their presence completely when submerged."

"When I got Kyubi Chakra Mode, I gained the ability to sense good and evil in others. I sensed their presence with that mode."

"I haven’t alerted them, but it seems like they have been gathering information from our village for far too long."

"So, before anybody could use our Hokage against us, I decided to summon them and keep them around."

"At least, until we find out who is creating these and why."

Hearing his words, Hinata was a bit confused, but she also understood that Naruto was doing this to prevent a tragedy from happening.

"Naruto!"

Just when she was about to say something, they heard a voice from a distance.

They turned around and saw Minato. Unlike before, his soul looked much clearer.

"Dad, are you done already?"

Naruto looked at him with surprise.

Minato nodded and floated near them. He looked at Hinata and smiled. He patted her head and said.

"Hinata, you are a cute, sensible, and brave girl. Do not let your past define you! You can be whoever you want."

"Naruto will always be there to support you."

Hearing his words, Hinata lowered her head. Surprisingly, she didn’t blush. She only felt gentle kindness towards her.

"Thank you, father!"

Even though she didn’t blush, she was still shy, and her voice was extremely low.

But hearing her call him father, Minato couldn’t help but laugh.

"Then, let’s meet again in the future, Hinata!"

As he said, he entered Naruto’s body. But when he entered Naruto’s psyche, he saw a gleefully laughing fox and a pouting red-haired girl.

"Damn it! I should’ve gone out, and Hinata would’ve called me mother. I’m so jealous of you, Minato."

She literally teared up when she said that.

Minato couldn’t help but touch his head. Now, he felt embarrassed to talk about it.

But he was happy. He was very satisfied with Hinata.

"Alright, give me my soul!"

Kurama put away his gleeful smile and stood on his rear limbs before pointing his hand out.

Minato nodded and released the other half of the Nine-Tails’ soul from his body.

Then, inside Naruto’s seal, two large Nine-Tails stood in front of each other. One was slightly larger than the other.

"Holy shit! Is this real?"

The Yin Nine-Tails looked like he had watched some kind of horror movie as he stared at the Yang Nine-Tails and asked.

"Dude, I shared some of Minato’s memories, but this is crazy. Ten-Tails Chakra is merging with you without devouring your Chakra."

Hearing his words, Yang Nine-Tails laughed.

"Hahaha! This is our future masterpiece."

Yin Nine-Tails rolled his eyes.

"Or a reckless action! If Naruto’s transformation hadn’t been completed before you, you would’ve been assimilated into the Ten-Tails."

"What?"

Minato and Kushina roared at the same time.

"Is that true, Kurama?"

Kurama nodded.

"It was a bet. My future self understood the risk. But it also understood that if it did nothing, tragedy would repeat itself one way or another."

"So, it is better to just transform into the Ten-Tails and lose myself than remain as Nine Tails with no power."

"Naruto’s connection with me is not as good as his daughter’s. So, there is a limit to how much strength he can use from me."

"So, the bet was simple. If Naruto finishes transforming to provide me with Otsutsuki Chakra to produce Six Paths Senjutsu Chakra, then I will succeed."

"But if I transform into Ten-Tails before he does, then I will die. After all, the amount of Six Paths Senjutsu Chakra my future self sends wouldn’t be enough to transform me."

"Of course, it has its own advantage. Unlike other Ten-Tails, I will not be rebellious, which means Naruto will have complete control over me."

"This will provide him with enough strength to face the future enemies even without my help."

Naruto certainly was not going to let Hinata worry about his situation.

The moment he heard her voice, he couldn’t help but get angry at his clone. Still, he believed the clone was him.

So, Hinata must’ve convinced him somehow. Thinking about it, he jumped out of the smoke and threw the charred body on the ground.

He also had some charred skin, but dead skin was peeling off on its own while new skin was forming rapidly.

At the same time, he was holding something inside his fist.

The moment he saw Danzo, he threw the mini Rasenshuriken towards Danzo.

Although this Rasenshuriken was small, its power was nothing to scoff at.

It was able to cut the leg of a fused Zetsu. More importantly, that alone didn’t show its true power.

Whoosh!

When Danzo saw the mini Rasenshuriken, he didn’t underestimate it.

He jumped to avoid the attack, but just as it was below him, the Rasenshuriken expanded.

In an instant, his legs, his balls, and even his little Shimura fell within the range of the Rasenshuriken.

"Ahhhh!"

Danzo screamed desperately.

"Ugh!"

Jiraiya and Kakashi subconsciously clutched their little brother while Shikaku’s lips twitched.

"Hinata, don’t watch!"

Naruto’s clone quickly covered Hinata’s eyes, completely forgetting the fact that she had her Byakugan open.

"Naruto-kun!"

Hinata shyly raised her feet and stomped on Naruto before closing her Byakugan and turning her head away.

She didn’t even notice a slight blue glow in her eyes.

Unfortunately, Otsutsuki Chakra was not enough. Hamura Chakra did start the evolution of her eyes, but she needed more of that Chakra.

That’s why she didn’t awaken Tenseigan in the original series, even after receiving Hamura Chakra.

She basically used most of that Chakra to help Naruto destroy the Giant Tenseigan.

Here, she received very little of that Chakra. It had already set her on the path of evolution.

Suddenly, Danzo’s body disappeared from the spot, and he appeared a kilometer away.

Without a second thought, he ran away.

That’s right! Danzo ran away.

Upon losing Shisui’s eye, he knew he couldn’t face Naruto and Jiraiya on his own.

With most of his Root dead or incapacitated, Danzo had no choice but to run away.

’I will return to take the power of Hokage.’

At this moment, Danzo’s eyes showed a look of madness as he roared.

"I will return."

Naruto wanted to chase after him, but he paused, remembering Sasuke’s revenge, and stopped.

"Should we chase after him?"

Kakashi looked at Jiraiya and asked.

Jiraiya shook his head.

"Danzo used some kind of Jutsu to appear without any injuries. We need to find out how he did that."

"Those Sharingan that he is keeping in his arm- what kind of arm is that?"

"Wood Release!"

Naruto spoke as he walked towards them.

"Kyubi just cursed him for having both Wood Release and Sharingan, but it believes it can crush him like a bug."

Hearing his words, Shikaku nodded.

"Considering that Lord First defeated Madara Uchiha, who was using the Nine-Tails, while Minato died sealing the Nine-Tails, we can believe the Nine-Tails understands those two powers clearly."

"But to call Danzo a bug, it must be some angry words. We need to be careful of Danzo. If possible, why not chase him now?"

Naruto waved his hands and said.

"I will leave this to Sasuke. Once he is done with Itachi, he will take care of Danzo."

Shikaku and Jiraiya looked at each other.

Yeah! This was a nice idea.

Considering how many Sharingan Danzo had, it wouldn’t be a surprise that Itachi and Danzo worked together to destroy Uchiha Clan.

Considering the Uchiha’s own problems, it made sense why the Third Hokage would remove Danzo from the position of Hokage Assistant.

Unfortunately, by then, Danzo already had too much power.

Kakashi’s lips twitched as he said.

"Naruto, Sasuke doesn’t have a tailed beast like you."

"But Sasuke has already awakened the Three Tomoe Sharingan. Don’t worry about Sasuke, Kakashi-sensei!"

Naruto said and turned towards Jiraiya.

"So, I am gonna be Hokage now?"

Jiraiya nodded.

"Yeah! Daimyo has already voted for you and told the Jonin Committee about your situation."

"I believe by tomorrow, everyone will learn about this news, and your coronation will begin tomorrow as well."

"That being said, we still need to be formal about this. So, let’s visit Lord Daimyo!"

Hearing his words, Naruto waved his hand.

"You three go first. I will follow you."

He looked at Hinata, and the three of them immediately understood his thoughts.

Jiraiya gave him a lewd smile which almost made Naruto punch him on the face.

The other two simply smiled and nodded before the three of them disappeared in front of him.

At this moment, Naruto asked.

’Dad, are you ready?’

"Yeah! With the help of Kushina and Kurama, I’ve modified Reaper Death Seal Release. Now, it can be used without the mask."

The role of the mask was to make the Shinigami repeat the user’s actions. Certainly, Minato changed that.

A pale soul of Minato left Naruto’s body.

When he appeared, Hinata screamed in shock and fell on her butt.

"Ahhh!"

She was stunned by his presence and even more by his face.

Naruto hurriedly moved forward to hold her and said.

"Calm down, Hinata! This is my father in his soul form. Now, just watch this, okay?"

Hinata leaned closer to his chest and nodded, still fearfully glancing at Minato’s soul.

When she saw him waving at her with a smile on his face, Hinata suddenly blushed.

She realized her father-in-law was watching her.

She wanted to get up, but she also didn’t want to leave Naruto’s embrace.

She almost turned into a cooked lobster because of her shyness.

"Awww! She is so cute."

Kushina roared inside Naruto’s psyche.

At this moment, she began to understand Hinata better.

She was a bit cowardly, very shy, but also had a strong love for Naruto.

Naruto was very boisterous and a bit idiotic.

So, they complemented each other very well.

Just like how Minato was a silent and gentle type while she was a little bit louder and more aggressive.

At this moment, Minato had already taken over the body of a Root Ninja. Unlike Orochimaru, he didn’t completely take over the body.

He just used his overwhelming strength to control the soul of the Root ninja and used his knowledge to activate the Reaper Death Seal (modified).
