Now that Riku had said things could be contained, no one doubted it.

As the explosion from the Tailed Beast Bomb subsided, the two Nine Tails clashed once more.

Kazuma, who had originally hoped the fake Nine Tails would destroy Konoha, clenched his fists in frustration. "Damn it... That Earth-Style Wall... It had to be Riku. Only Riku can create ninjutsu on such a massive scale."

Meanwhile, Asuma, who had been locked in combat with a reanimated foe, had feared the shockwave from the Tailed Beast Bomb would wipe out Konoha entirely.

But in the end, Riku had blocked it.

Asuma exhaled deeply, then turned to Kazuma. "Give it up, Fudō. You can’t destroy Konoha. As long as Riku is here, even if that hollow version of the Nine Tails goes completely berserk, it still won’t be able to threaten us."

Riku possessed the ability to suppress Tailed Beasts. Even the Nine Tails inside Naruto had been convinced by him—though Asuma didn’t need to think hard to guess how that happened. It had to be through force.

Now, even though Riku had removed the seal restraining the Nine Tails inside Naruto, the beast was still obediently residing within him.

But Fudō just laughed. "That’s not a sure thing. As long as Beidou completes the Thunder God’s Wrath... its power will rival the Tailed Beast Bomb. When that happens, your little Leaf will still fall."

He didn’t take Asuma’s warning seriously at all.

The real and fake Nine Tails continued their battle.

Strangely enough, the fake Nine Tails—created from chakra—had been modified. It had taken full form inside Sora’s body and was holding its own against the real one.

It was... bizarre.

Even Riku found it strange. By logic, the chakra inside Sora was nothing more than an incomplete mass. It shouldn’t have been capable of taking full form as a Tailed Beast.

Even Kin and Gin—despite having ingested the Nine Tails’ chakra—could only access partial transformations. They couldn’t reach full manifestation.

But Sora could.

That meant it had been artificially altered. And it didn’t match what Riku previously knew about the Nine Tails’ chakra.

Frowning, Riku turned to Tsunade. "I’m going to check it out. Something’s not right here."

Tsunade nodded.

And the moment she did, Riku vanished.

In an instant, he reappeared atop the massive Earth-Style wall—his own creation.

The Konoha shinobi already on the wall looked to him with awe.

Thanks to Riku’s barrier, Konoha remained standing. Without him, the blast from the earlier Tailed Beast Bomb would’ve obliterated the village.

Shikamaru, in the middle of handling the reanimated bodies, glanced up and smirked. "He finally stepped in."

Ino looked up at Riku as well, smiling. "Yeah... That wall? Definitely his doing."

Neji and Lee, having just repelled a wave of attackers, turned to see Riku standing tall.

"Now that he’s involved," Neji said solemnly, "this war is as good as over."

Hinata, fending off another corpse, flushed slightly when she spotted him.

It had been so long since she’d last seen Riku.

And yet her heart still raced.

Standing atop the wall in his black robe, Riku gazed out at the distant battlefield, where the real and fake Nine Tails continued to clash.

He grinned. "Nine Tails, you’re not looking so good. A copy’s giving you this much trouble?"

He communicated via chakra link—no one else could hear them.

The Nine Tails, still grappling with the fake, growled irritably. "I’m holding back so I don’t destroy your damned village. If I fought seriously, this fake would’ve been flattened already."

Riku chuckled. "You can go all out. Your fight won’t damage Konoha anymore."

"Or... are you saying you can’t beat it?"

The Nine Tails roared, "Bullshit!"

With a guttural growl, its tails split into chakra tendrils and lashed out, slamming the fake Nine Tails across the battlefield, sending it flying several hundred meters.

Without hesitation, the real Nine Tails began forming a Tailed Beast Bomb.

But mid-roll, the fake Nine Tails also opened its mouth, charging a Tailed Beast Bomb of its own.

Boom!

The two Tailed Beast Bombs collided mid-air, releasing a deafening explosion that tore across the battlefield for thousands of meters.

Even from such distance, the shockwave hammered the fortified wall— Wall—but it held firm, trembling slightly, without so much as a crack.

Of course, the sheer distance helped. The two Tailed Beasts had battled far away.

The winds kicked up violently, blowing Riku’s robe as he stood atop the wall.

He narrowed his eyes. "Impressive. But this fake Nine Tails really has been altered... Looks like Rinnegan. That makes sense—only Rinnegan can wield Yin–Yang Release like this."

From what Riku could sense, the fake Nine Tails’ chakra carried the unmistakable signature of Yin–Yang Release.

Only a Rinnegan user could achieve that.

That would also explain why the fake Nine Tails could take full form. Though it wouldn’t last long, the fact that it could meant its threat was real.

If it could last even an hour, it could destroy Konoha.

Watching their clash, Riku grew serious. "This won’t do. If one of those bombs lands off target, the damage could be catastrophic."

He quickly formed a hand seal.

"Sealing Jutsu: Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

The Nine Tails instantly froze mid-battle.

"Wait! Hold on, Riku!" it shouted. "Let me back off first! Don’t seal the wrong target!"

The real Nine Tails immediately disengaged, swatting the fake aside and sprinting back toward the village.

Though over a thousand meters away, it reached Riku in mere seconds.

Riku wasn’t surprised. The Nine Tails was the fastest of all Tailed Beasts, and Naruto—with access to its chakra—had once surpassed the Fourth Raikage in speed.

Despite its size, it could move like a blur.

Now back at Riku’s side, the Nine Tails let out a deep breath. "You can’t just throw around sealing techniques like that!"

"And how the hell do you know how to use the Uzumaki Clan’s sealing jutsu?! Doesn’t that require Uzumaki blood?!"

The Adamantine Sealing Chains clearly left the Nine Tails with a bit of trauma.
