Chapter 810 - 458: Catching the Mimic Venerable King of the Mist Council

  • Next Chapter

Xue Dili began inheriting the Seventh Apostle’s legacy and pondered how to repurpose the eerie creations left behind.

Whether it becomes a tool for power generation or is installed in isolated areas interfacing with the Consciousness Space for someday becoming students’ experiment sites—the little remaining value is something Xue Dili meticulously arranged.

Even those death cruises and horror buses which were originally meant for receiving humans extradited from the real cosmos by the Seventh Apostle.

However, funds eventually became tight, and the Apostle needed more humans to extract fear, thus fulfilling his need to suppress the fear authority, forcing to place these vehicles among those for accommodating the reincarnators.

To say the least, if not for the impoverished transportation, Xue Dili and the Mimic Venerable King wouldn’t have caught hold of the Apostle so easily.

And as Yuanbaoni’s tools for transporting these reincarnators, these vehicles belonged to the category of "eerie," with even higher levels, as they possessed a unified function: shuttling back and forth between the real cosmos and Subspace.

It’s an ability that leaves the Mimic Venerable King speechless and Xue Dili in tears—an instrument seemingly fixed with special techniques and permissions to bring individuals from the real cosmos into the Seventh Apostle’s created Subspace.

Xue Dili adored them immensely, thus completing the final puzzle piece for the academy—the school bus.

Now, Xue Dili’s Magic Academy genuinely possesses the capability to transcend dimensions and bring individuals into the school—congratulations are in order! Until now, Xue Dili no longer has to worry about how to bring students to his school.

Xue Dili even plans to establish fixed paths from Earth to his own Consciousness Space and from the Masked Ball to his Consciousness Space.

Also, he can invite his companions to review the jointly established academy, giving them a sense of participation.

Imagine these trains, buses, and cruises appearing in deep mountains or unnoticed sea areas, where students awaiting transportation would witness flying ships or space-shuttling buses that bring them back to the magical and fairytale Magic Academy.

Thinking about this, Xue Dili felt ecstatic, even wanting to tap on his temple.

This inheritance was the most enjoyable for Xue Dili, as it perfectly complemented the missing segments in the Consciousness Space, making it increasingly resemble a real world.

Xue Dili merely needed to construct a sinusoidal Holy Light Ball moving over a 24-hour cycle, hanging it in the sky, becoming the light source of this area, rising and setting once every 24 hours.

According to Xue Dili’s habit—after all, Earth spins a complete rotation every 24 hours, and in Xue Dili’s extensive world travels, the quickest day is around 12 hours, and the slowest world takes approximately 42 hours.

Perhaps, habitable zone planets with life-forming potential have a rotational speed constraint? But this wasn’t within Xue Dili’s scope of consideration.

After all, this is my school.

Meanwhile, Xue Dili aimed for a major overhaul of the academy’s infrastructure, adding transformers, connecting electrical wires, and more functionalities.

Xue Dili became immensely busy in an instant.

Even Susu, who typically doesn’t have much knowledge, was forcibly brought over by Xue Dili to study electrical engineering, all for the early electrification of the school’s power.

A phrase, "Susu, don’t you want your phone to run out of battery while playing?" thoroughly convinced this reluctant Little Witch to start delving into books on electrical engineering.

"Left neutral, right live, three-phase four-wire with a fixed 120-degree phase angle... AC frequency... calculation of voltage, current... higher harmonics affecting the power system..." The sound of memorizing echoed from her dormitory.

"How did you get into such complex topics while memorizing? Stop messing around, I’d be thankful if you just learned wiring, not expecting you to become a professional electrician."

"After learning enough, try connecting the wires in your dorm," Xue Dili teased.

Minutes later...

"Bang!"

A violent explosion sounded from Susu’s area. Xue Dili rushed over to see Susu with one hand and half of her face charred, the switch in the dorm covered in black soot.

"What the heck, how did you cause a phase-to-phase short circuit as soon as I wasn’t watching? Oh no, my newly bought transformer!" Xue Dili quickly ran to inspect his freshly sourced transformer from the power grid—it was extremely expensive, mainly because it included a large amount of rectifier compensation.

If Susu has blown it up, Xue Dili really needs to teach this troublemaking Little Witch a lesson.

Thus, the entire Consciousness Space fell into chaos.

The Mimic Venerable King silently observed all this, for when Xue Dili arrived on Earth, the Mimic Venerable King had covertly invaded Earth’s network and made a copy of everything available on the web.

He was well-versed with everything on Earth, whether culture or technology, having backed up all of it, intrigued by many elements—a world devoid of magic, yet giving birth to such a brilliant, electricity-centered civilization.
