My Ultimate OP System: Summoning All Dragons, Gods, Heroes & Villains
Chapter 471: Confrontation
Right then, several magic circles opened beside him as his summons appeared one after another, each carrying their own immense magical power that immediately shook the field around them.
Some of the demons in the distance widened their eyes.
A few even halted their attacks, their pace slowing as they stared at the figures that had suddenly appeared.
Every one of the summons that had just arrived was overwhelmingly powerful.
Albedo then slowly stepped forward, moving to Ethan’s side. Through their mind link, Ethan had already issued her this command to come forward.
Usually, Albedo would have some witty remark whenever Ethan commanded her to do something.
But this was not one of those situations. She understood the seriousness of what was happening.
Ethan then spoke to his wily demon summon. "I want you to take her away from here. I don’t know where. Just make sure her eyes don’t see any of this."
He then turned back toward Kimora and smiled. "It’s all right. You can go with her. Nothing will happen to you."
Albedo extended her hand toward Kimora. "Come with me, kiddo. Let’s get you to some quiet place."
Kimora slowly raised her hand and looked at Ethan who gave her one last reassuring nod.
She nodded back and placed her palm in Albedo’s hand.
Albedo then disappeared in a burst of smoke, taking Kimora with her.
Ethan then returned his focus to the rest of his summons.
He pointed toward the family still being held under the effect of his gravity. "I want them restrained only. None of them here should be killed."
He then turned toward the demons continuing to pour into the area. "And for the others coming in, use only as much force as necessary."
With those instructions given, Ethan began walking toward the right side of the quarters.
King Arthur quickly proceeded to carry out the instructions given.
He stretched out one hand toward the family still trapped under the effect gravity, and suddenly golden chains sprouted from the ground behind them, wrapping around their bodies and binding them firmly to the ground.
They were the Chains of Yvain, one of the Knights of the Round Table, a skill Arthur could use through his Round Table Skill .
Additionally, all of Ethan’s summons on the field were all being enhanced by his amplification trait, and so each of them were still a lot more powerful than any of the demons present.
The truth was, regardless of Kimora’s plea, Ethan genuinely did not want to see this family harmed.
For it would leave a very bad taste in his mouth.
Somewhere deep down, he couldn’t blame them for the actions they were taking right now.
If he had discovered that his entire life had been tampered with and that the person he believed was his father had never truly been his father, he knew he would have been just as livid and furious.
He continued walking for a short distance before suddenly disappearing in a flash of lightning.
Ethan had gone in search of Nathan.
Right in that moment, the rest of his other summons got into action.
Nina stepped forward and drove her flaming longsword into the ground, resting both her hands over his hilt.
She, alongside Arthur, watched the restrained family silently; while the other summons spread into the battlefield, joining the rest of Ethan’s team.
Titania walked forward before her body began transforming. Her form expanded rapidly until a massive black dragon stood in her place.
She then unleashed a thunderous roar that shook the area and sent many of the approaching demons stumbling backward in fear.
Arael had also taken flight, hovering above the battlefield as multiple projectiles of ink began forming around her.
Then there was Norman.
The hero summon suddenly flew in from one side and dropped down directly in front of a group of encroaching demons.
The force of his landing created a powerful shockwave that blasted them backward.
Then he stretched out one hand toward them. "None of you should attempt to cross here."
The fighting around the immediate quarters significantly died down with the arrival of Ethan’s summons.
One by one, however, the domain lords of the Lower City began making their appearance.
Initially, they had moved toward the throne rolm building itself rather than this section of palace; It had only been their forces spreading throughout the palace that had reached this area first.
And now that they approached, more of their men had followed behind them.
They spread out at different corners around the quarters, watching the powerful figures standing before them.
In truth, some of the Lower City lords became apprehensive at the sight of it.
This section of the palace contained extremely powerful individuals and summons, each displaying varying levels of magical power and strength that they had not fully accounted for.
Of course, Lady Lilinlea had told them about the guests staying within the quarters.
But she was certain that once she stormed into their quarters and gave them the ultimatum to leave, they would fear for their lives and simply choose to flee.
She had not expected them to respond like this.
The rest of the team and the summons did not immediately attack either.
Even the domain lords who had appeared seemed hesitant to engage after seeing and feeling the overwhelming power gathered around the quarters.
After all, these domain lords were only Grade 7 demons.
——
At the palace of the Demon King...
Darkness had gathered within Morgana’s private chambers until Dark Bella suddenly emerged from the shadows.
However, Morgana did not seem bothered by her sudden appearance.
She also did not currently look like the monstrous figure known as the Demon King. Instead, she just sat there, calmly sipping wine from a metal cup.
"What now, my dear Mistress?" she asked, as though all was well.
Dark Bella had a fierce look on her face as she threw back a question to her blessed, "Where is he, Morgana?"
Morgana sighed, lowered her cup, and placed it to the side. "I’m going to need a lot more than that, Mistress. Where is who, and who are you asking about?"
Dark Bella’s expression hardened. "Don’t fuck with me, Morgana. Where is Nathan? Or Izzgur, whatever name you know him by."
A smile slowly appeared across Morgana’s lips. "I have no idea where he is."
Her smile seemed almost taunting, and deliberately aggravating.
Dark Bella’s eyes narrowed. It wasn’t because she believed Morgana was lying.
Morgana could never lie to her. None of her Blessed could.
But Dark Bella knew that Morgana was aware of what could potentially be happening to Nathan. In fact, that was most likely the reason for the irritating smile on her face.
"So what are you plotting against him?" Dark Bella asked.
As expected, Morgana gave her an honest answer. "His death."
She paused for a moment.
"And the removal of the rest of you from my kingdom."
Dark Bella’s eyes widened.
"What?"
