My Three Babies Have Different Fathers

Chapter 40: Unable to make an emergency landing

Sean did not pay any attention to Kevin and Zahn’s conversation at all. His eyes remained focused on the trials he was conducting with people across Melvin Continent, whom he had carefully selected as candidates for their new fathers.

There were seven candidates. All of them were heirs to major families who had no history of being close to women over the past ten years. Although their wealth was nothing compared to that of their three biological fathers, it was still enough to be considered.

Sean yawned widely after staring at his computer for two full hours. He looked to the side. Kevin was still busy with his computer, while Zahn had started playing a game on his phone.

He looked at the three adult men, who were now also busy with the notebooks in their hands.

His gaze shifted toward the pilot who suddenly appeared at the door of their cabin.

"Sir," the pilot said as soon as he arrived beside Dion Sexa.

Dion took his eyes off the screen and looked at him displeased. "Is there a problem?"

"There has been a problem during the flight. We cannot contact the Air Traffic Controller in the control tower in Karua City. We cannot get permission to land this plane at all."

"What did you say?" Orland Hesh asked.

The pilot bowed even deeper. "Sir, we also cannot make an emergency landing. We cannot find any large enough area besides the airport. And our radar cannot get any assistance from the control tower at all."

Sean turned to Kevin. "You still haven’t gotten any information? You haven’t even managed to turn the system back on?"

Kevin shook his head. "This is really difficult. I’ve tried hundreds of times. But the information I’m trying to access is completely blocked by an outside party."

Zahn threw his phone onto the floor of the plane before looking up at Hans Xin, who was now unable to do anything useful.

Hans Xin turned to look at him. "What are you thinking? I’m asking my secretary to take over all my businesses in that city. The acquisition is still in progress. Do you think the process will be that fast?"

"Is there another route we can take to reach Karua City without getting their permission?" Dion Sexa asked.

The pilot did not answer immediately. He thought for a moment before looking back at Dion Sexa.

"There is. But that will take quite a while. Karua City is an outlying city separated from the other cities on Melvin Continent. So we have to turn back and land the plane in the nearest city. After that, we can go to Karua City by ship. Ships don’t need permission to dock in Karua City, unlike planes."

"Then do it," Dion Sexa ordered.

The pilot bowed. "Yes, Sir."

Sean looked at Hans Xin with a sneer. "I really don’t know what made Mom accept you in the past. Did you force her back then?"

Hans Xin quickly stood up and pointed at Sean’s face. "Dion Sexa, is this your well-behaved son? He dares to insult me."

Dion Sexa stood in front of Sean, blocking Hans’s view. "How dare you point at my son’s face? Isn’t what he said true? All of this happened because of you too. If you hadn’t deceived Hana back then, do you think Hana would have been interested in you?"

"You!" Hans shouted.

He forgot about the wound Zahn had just treated and immediately stepped toward Dion.

A fist was about to land on Dion’s face before the man caught it in time.

"Hans, you’re really making me want to kill you right now. Are you eager to try my new punch?"

Hans smiled sarcastically. His blue eyes looked over Dion Sexa’s appearance. "I defeated you in the past. Do you think I can’t defeat you now?"

Bam!

Bam!

The two exchanged punches.

Sean, Kevin, and Zahn clicked their tongues. They looked at Orland Hesh, who was now idle and simply watching the two middle-aged men in front of him beat each other.

"You’re not going to stop them?" Kevin asked.

Orland shrugged. "They used to do this often in the past. They only stop when one of them can’t get back up."

"Aren’t you adults? How can you even act like children like this?" Zahn asked.

Orland looked at Zahn and smiled faintly. "You’re not an adult yet, and you don’t know what it feels like to fight over one woman."

"Then what? Didn’t you fight over Mom too?" Sean asked while looking at Orland.

"Your mother was the most obedient to me. So why would I have to fight them for her? Your mother preferred me over them."

Kevin frowned. "Why did you let them have Mom if you managed to control Mom?"

"I wasn’t the first one to find your mother, and the three of us had an agreement not to take something that already belonged to each of us. And Hana already belonged to them first. We could only share her equally."

Sean shook his head, still unable to understand what Orland was saying.

"You’ll understand when you’re adults," Orland added.

The sounds of the two men exchanging punches continued beside them even as the plane’s speaker suddenly came on.

"The plane has successfully landed at the airport in Laina City."

Without waiting for Hans and Dion to finish fighting, they all gathered their belongings and got off the plane.

"Do you want to rest first?" Orland offered as he observed the three children walking beside him.

"No need," Kevin refused. "We don’t know what crazy thing Mom’s ex-boyfriend is doing to Mom."

Orland nodded. The car arranged by Dion’s pilot had already arrived and stopped in front of them.

"Sir, are we going directly to the port?" the driver asked.

Orland nodded in response and let Sean, Kevin, and Zahn get into the car first.

"Go," Orland ordered as he closed the door.

"But, Sir... there are two empty seats. The pilot from earlier said that he had to bring—"

Orland waved his hand. "The others will take the next car," Orland cut him off.

The driver finally nodded. "Yes, Sir."

The car began moving calmly toward the port, leaving Hans and Dion behind as they continued exchanging punches like teenagers.

Meanwhile, on the other side of Karua City, Hana pulled her hand out of Brandon’s grip.

"Brandon! Stop! Where are you taking me in this car?" she asked with a panicked expression.
