My Taming System Makes Me Overpowered
Chapter 249: The assimilation of the Null expanse
The quiet that settled over the Null Expanse was unlike anything the outer boundary had known since the dawn of the cosmic epoch.
The jagged dark-matter storms, the howling spectral rifts, and the violent eruptions of chaotic solar plasma were all gone, swept away like dust before a summer rain. In their place stretched an endless, tranquil sea of deep amethyst sky, illuminated by shimmering rivers of liquid celestial mana that flowed in harmonious, perfect orbits around the central spire.
Across the newly settled expanse, countless fragments of crystal and ancient stone drifted slowly through the air, catching the amethyst radiance like scattered stars. Far beyond the citadel, distant nebulae curved across the heavens in silent arcs, their colors shifting between violet, indigo, and pale silver. The celestial mana moved without turbulence, leaving faint luminous trails wherever it passed. Even the ground beneath the terrace seemed transformed, its surface polished smooth and veined with golden lines. Tiny motes of energy floated around the pillars, rising and falling in gentle patterns, while the entire domain seemed to breathe with calm, rhythm.
At the heart of the domain, atop the highest terrace of the newly transformed celestial-jade citadel, the air hummed with a profound, intoxicating warmth.
Vince sat relaxed upon a massive sofa of carved silver-wood and crushed purple velvet. The integration of all five Void-God domain cores—Kharon’s warlord essence, Sycorax’s labyrinthine spirit, Vaelen’s absolute stasis, Moros’s soul-styx matrix, and Ignis’s solar plasma—had expanded his Inward Absolute Domain to an unimaginable scale. He did not merely rule the Null Expanse; every grain of cosmic dust and every floating landmass across tens of thousands of miles was an extension of his own divine will.
Beside him, Barnaby lay curled against his side like a contented, purring cat. Her physical form was practically translucent, glowing with a soft, radiant golden light that radiated directly from her fully bloomed Lotus Core.
Now holding all five void-cores within its pristine gold petals, the Lotus Core served as the absolute divine anchor for Vince’s realm. The shared soul-tether between them pulsed with a steady, ecstatic heat, continuously feeding refined cosmic vitality back into Vince while anchoring Barnaby directly to his eternal existence.
"It feels... complete," Barnaby whispered, her voice raspy, soft, and rich with absolute contentment. She pressed a gentle, lingering kiss against the skin of Vince’s collarbone, her pale hand resting flat against his chest. "No more decay. No more empty void. Vince... my lotus belongs entirely to your domain now."
"It always did," Vince replied smoothly, his long fingers trailing down her spine, drawing a low, trembling sigh from her lips before he shifted his gaze to the rest of his vanguard.
To his left, Lyrielle sat on the plush armrest, her long, silver-blonde hair draped over her shoulder. Her violet eyes shone with a deep, radiant contentment. Because the Lost Sovereign-Tree had been reconnected to the First Canopy, the feedback from the Null Expanse’s assimilation was currently flowing directly into the elven ley-lines back home.
"Mother sent a spatial ping through the World-Heart," Lyrielle said softly, her delicate pointed ears twitching with pleasure as Vince reached out to cup her cheek. "The First Canopy is blooming like it hasn’t in six thousand years. The elders have completely fallen to their knees, declaring you the Eternal Sovereign of the Elves."
"And what about you, little spark?" Vince asked, pulling her down into his lap alongside Barnaby.
Lyrielle flushed warmly, burying her face into his neck with a soft, happy laugh. "I don’t care about the elders or the throne, Vince. I’m just happy I get to stand by your side while you rewrite the world."
Vetra stood near the edge of the terrace, her massive broadsword leaning against the jade balustrade. The silver scales along her arms and neck flickered with a new, iridescent golden-crimson hue—a permanent gift from the solar essence of Ignis that she had absorbed during the final strike. She stretched her dark dragon-wings, letting out a long, satisfied exhale before walking over and dropping onto the carpet at Vince’s feet, resting her chin on his knee with an eager, toothy grin.
"My dragon-flame feels twice as dense as it did yesterday," Vetra grunted softly, looking up at him with uncharacteristic sweetness in her amber eyes. "If any more of those void-beasts show up, I can turn them to ash before they even open their mouths."
"There are no void-beasts left to fight in this expanse, Vetra," Elena chimed in as she glided out from the inner sanctuary, carrying a silver tray with crystal goblets of refined celestial nectar.
Her golden eyes flickered with quiet satisfaction as she set the tray down on the low stone table. "Every sub-sector across the Null Expanse has been fully cataloged and mapped. The five former domain-realms have merged into five provincial sanctums under our direct administrative control."
She sat down beside Vince, allowing him to pull her slender waist close to his side. "The territorial conquest of Phase Three is officially a hundred percent complete."
Vince looked down at the four women gathered around him—Barnaby completely integrated and glowing as his divine lotus anchor, Lyrielle transformed into a proud and powerful co-ruler, Vetra elevated to an absolute apex dragon-kin enforcer, and Elena managing his expanding empire with flawless precision.
The intimacy in the air was thick, heavy, and sweet—a quiet, domestic sanctuary carved directly out of the wild chaos of the outer cosmos.
Vince raised his goblet, taking a slow sip of the nectar while his Inward Absolute Domain gently enveloped the terrace, insulating his party in a private sphere of warmth, luxury, and absolute peace.
"Enjoy the rest," Vince said, his voice quiet, deep, and echoing with absolute confidence as he rested his hands on Barnaby and Lyrielle. "You’ve earned it."
For the next several hours, no battle cries echoed through the skies, and no spatial barriers were shattered. Under the peaceful amethyst sky of Vince’s newly assimilated Null Expanse, the Sovereign and his harem celebrated their absolute victory in serene, unbroken harmony.
