Gu Weilan curled her lip, let out a soft huff, then turned over and went to sleep.

Just as Gu Weilan suspected, Shi Lingfeng had lied to her on purpose. He was truly out of options. If she had continued to ravage him for even one more second, he wouldn’t have been able to control himself. But if they engaged in such intimate acts when his Female Master wasn’t full of energy, she would end up sleeping for a very long time, and it might even damage her spiritual power.

Over time, this pollution would gradually cause Beastmen to become violent and lose control. Thus, males could only forcibly lock away their Beast Rank Energy and avoid breaking through carelessly, much like Cultivators suppressing their cultivation base in Cultivation World novels. After all, if they ever failed to suppress it, the mania triggered by the pollution would devour their sanity.

The mark left by a female could precisely eradicate a portion of this stubborn pollution. With the pollution reduced, the male would no longer have to try so hard to suppress his Beast Rank, and the Beast Rank Energy that had previously been tightly held back would be naturally released.
